If I remember well, he and a friend built their platform, declared it independent, had parties and what seemed like a great deal of fun, but seemed to seriously annoy the Italian government who eventually sent in the army to remove them and blow up the platform.

But not that of being princes and nobles.. because they don't have any regalia that are supposed to be sacred.. and monarchies are supposed to be religion-inspired because there is the belief that God has chosen someone to rule/reign over a nation, the "divine right".. Do they even consider their royalty as religion-inspired?
