She's there every morning bright and early. It's funny some of the other cafes around those blocks don't even serve coffee till 10, 11 even 2pm so she's my go to even though it's not as good as the others.
@gregorybentz every time I would go back it would be someone else. I never saw her again. I’d want to interview her a bit more. She seemed very chill.
@@MartinezWhereAreYou that's weird yeah I've seen her there for years my wife's family lives just a few block over so that's where I'm usually at and my son goes to school on the same street so I always walk by her. Maybe she was on vacation or something that week. There's another good coffee shop called Donde Alejo on the same street you stayed. It dead ends directly into his place. He has beer too and is always playing American rock. That area is growing constantly and I believe the city has plans to eventually turn that into some walling around only near the restaurant strip. But knowing Colombia it'll be a 20 yr plan 🤣

Check out the Hot springs in Santa Rosa Santa Rosa is about 12 mi away use Uber it will cost you about 25,000 pesos in Central Santa Rosa you can take a Jeep up the mountain too the hot springs beautiful

Down that hill at the beginning of your vid has the best tacos in the city. The place is called PanchoVilla. And La Rebecca to me is one of the best barrios in the city but it's so loud lol. Every time we stay at my wife's parents house there it seems like a party all night long outside 🤣

I live around 12 mi outside in Santa Rosa I farm coffee here send it to our farm in California. The trip to living in Columbia is to live like a columbiano. Nice new three bedroom two bath apartment $200 TV internet gas electric and water 70 to $85 a month. Shop directly from farms when possible. Don't be an arrogant gringo you be just fine. Check out the hot springs in Santa Rosa please don't move here I like the fact I'm the only American I've run into in the year I've been here.

I was just out there in pereira . I learned my lesson when it comes to getting my beard shaped up out there . I’ll bring my own machine and razor next time .. but overall it’s a nice city and the people are very humble and nice .

I also went to anserma to my uncles farm which in fun to me , I don’t see that here in jersey city NJ . Yes I did get an Airbnb apartment by the airport behind unicentro mall . No I didn’t go to that barbershop I went to one that my uncle took me to . Long story short I ended up shaving my beard off cause they brought down to low 🤦🏻♂️

Colombia is awesome and don’t believe the hype about Cali 😂 I mean yeah it is statistically more dangerous than Medellin or pereira but people talk about it like if it’s a war zone. I go there all the time and you won’t feel any different then other cities. The issue there is there’s a lot of immigration from Venezuela and unfortunately a lot of them make Cali unsafe.
