You are just scratching the surface with Dimash. When a person has a 6-7 octave range and can sing in almost every genre out there, you could react to many songs and STILL not realize all the facets of Dimash's incredible instrument. The man has been developing the voice that God gave him every day since he was 5 years old. Most of his songs are stunning masterpieces. To the extent they're not, it's because he's still developing language skills though his English has gotten much better.

Believe it or not you've only seen the very tip of an enormous iceberg. Not only do most music experts world-wide recognize Dimash as probably the greatest all-around singer/performer ever. But he is by far the most musically diverse. We're not just talking about opera, rock, pop rap, r&b. We're talking about Ukrainian folk, Chinese opera, the list is endless. He also sings in baritone, tenor, contralto, and soprano ranges, he even has a whistle register higher than Moriah Carey. As others have said, he began training at the age of 5, has songs in 16 languages, is a multi-instrumentalist, has a 7+ octave range, and sings in almost all genres. This performance was not from I Am a Singer in China which was back in 2017. This is his own solo digital concert in 2021 that he put on for his fans because he could not hold concerts in person due to the pandemic. He performed 18 songs and is sweating because he had performed two songs prior to this one, one of which was his own original pop composition where he did a lot of dancing. Thanks for checking out DImash and the reaction, but as the saying goes, you ain't seen nothing yet. He sings in many different registers, genres, styles, and languages. If you are willing to check out more of his stuff, to get a general sense of his versatility I'd suggest "Stranger," "Ave Maria" (a new vocalise composition, not the Schubert version) and for something completely different, his latest MV, "When I've Got You," Dimash's own composition containing blues, R&B, jazz, rock, and gospel elements.

From what I have read and understand, is that the only reason he came in second in the Chinese show " I Am a Singer" was due to the fact he was a foreigner. Apparently, only those of Chinese citizenship can take first place in any Chinese competition. I am sure that this was explained to Dimash when he was invited as a "Wild Card" to the compitision. At least I hope it was. Dimash has recieved the honorary title from many experts and critics as the "Best Singer of Our Time" while others say, he is the "Best Singer Ever to Exist.
Actually, it was explained somewhere that there wasn't an explicit ban for foreigners to take first place, but the fact that the first position in that competition included between the prices to act as a sort of cultural Ambassador representing China around the world for a year, is what prevented a non Chinese to take that position.

He makes beautiful music videos .His own short film , video, is One sky, which took him 3 years to write , act and produce with a fantastic message at the end. Dimash has a 7.7 octave range and can sing all kinds of genres and can reach all the different voices like baritone, tenor, soprano, coloratura soprano and even whiste tones 🎶 However his style is mixing the genres so you don't get a "clean" pop song from him but a little of everything ❤️ I love him and his music ❤You will get amazed no matter what song you listen to by him. This performance was not from I Am a Singer in China which was back in 2017. This is his own solo digital concert in 2021 that he put on for his fans because he could not hold concerts in person due to the pandemic. He performed 18 songs and is sweating because he had performed two songs prior to this one, one of which was his own original pop composition where he did a lot of dancing. Thanks for checking out DImash and the reaction, but as the saying goes, you ain't seen nothing yet. He sings in many different registers, genres, styles, and languages. If you are willing to check out more of his stuff, to get a general sense of his versatility I'd suggest "Stranger," "Ave Maria" (a new vocalise composition, not the Schubert version) and for something completely different, his latest MV, "When I've Got You," Dimash's own composition containing blues, R&B, jazz, rock, and gospel elements.

From what I have read and understand, is that the only reason he came in second in the Chinese show " I Am a Singer" was due to the fact he was a foreigner. Apparently, only those of Chinese citizenship can take first place in any Chinese competition.
I am sure that this was explained to Dimash when he was invited as a "Wild Card" to the compitision. At least I hope it was.
Dimash has recieved the honorary title from many experts and critics as the "Best Singer of Our Time" while others say, he is the "Best Singer Ever to Exist.
I have no doubt that Dimash is the best singer ever.
Actually, it was explained somewhere that there wasn't an explicit ban for foreigners to take first place, but the fact that the first position in that competition included between the prices to act as a sort of cultural Ambassador representing China around the world for a year, is what prevented a non Chinese to take that position.

He uses his whole body, hand gestures, vocal apparatus, utilizing his extensive musical knowledge and God given ability in voice performance. He has captured all musical styles and genres , when to use the upper palette and drop the lower palette, tongue placement, clarity of all his notes in all of his vocal range. He’s multilingual, speaks fluently 13 languages. His fluency and expertise knowledge in playing many instruments; not to mention his unique ability to create magical cultural vocal utterances and yodel-like riffs etc… once you hear Dimash sing, you’re hooked!
