As a Wednesday fan who has been a season ticket holder for the past 5 years, I'm really glad you have done a video on this. The mainstream media doesn't seem to be giving it the attention it deserves. I though we needed a miracle to overcome Peterborough but it really does feel like the only way out of this mess is divine intervention!

Darren Moore is a man who needs more respect in Football. At West Brom he was a modern day Club Legend coached the Kids and was a nice guy. We appointed him and didn't expect much but he nearly kept us up. He was sacked with us in the Play Offs only a few points of the Automatic Promotion Spots. I thought Big Dave should have stayed at Doncaster where he was well liked. Sheffield Wednesday was a basket case. But he is now at Huddersfield and I hope he does well there. As for Wednesday they are a mess they did put a fight in the second half against Albion as we nearly messed it up.

Good video. I think that What on Earth is my favourite Alfie series.
But here's a suggestion. Rosenborg BK deserves a What on Earth episode by now. That club is a total mess and a shadow of its former self. from being the dominant club by far in Norway, winning Eliteserien 13 straight, playing Champions League regularly. This year they had their worst opening 10 games since the 70's, relegation scrap the first half of the season and now stucked on 9th place with 29-35 in goal difference.
They had their best period since ending the 13 year streak with Kåre Ingebrigtsen as coach during 2015 - 2018, winning Eliteserien 4 times in a row. Don't know why exactly, maybe the board got arrogant or something. But Kåre Ingebrigtsen got sacked in 2018 and the board justified the sacking as of not being able to play entertaining football(which sounds like total BS). That sacking case went to court. Rosenborg has been a mess since. Chaos both on and off the pitch And it doesn't look like to improve any time soon either.
Rosenborg BK has not won the Eliteserien or the Norwegian Cup since 2018, got knocked out of the cup this yar in an embarressing fashion by a 3th tier club. Molde and Bodø/Glimt been miles ahead of Rosenborg on the pitch for the past 4 years and they look like to get their worst spot on the table for at least the past 35 years.

I'm a Man City fan. I went to university in Sheffield (late 80s, early 90s) and from that point always had a bit of a soft spot for Wednesday. Probably because it was a two club city where the alternative was a club called United who played in red. Sorry, Blades fans. Anyway, it was from my days in Sheffield where I learned a fair bit about Wednesday and I felt that they were very much a sleeping giant, just needing that one thing to restore them to their former glory. Of course, since then we've had the disaster and then the subsequent mismanagement of the club that has seen them drop quite a bit short of glory (and I was very disappointed that Arsenal beat them in both domestic cup finals in 1993 as well).
It's annoying that football's ability to lose money in the lower tiers isn't being more urgently addressed. The alarm bells should've rung when Derby were in trouble, but nothing was done and no lessons were learned. Now we could well be on the cusp of a properly big club losing their status. Do we really need to lose the most successful club in Yorkshire before anything gets sorted?
Anyway, to all you Wednesday fans: Keep the faith, guys, you never know when things will turn around for the better. We had a string of poor owners before Mansour arrived, so you never know!

    🇧🇬 🇧🇬 🇧🇬
Day 11 - Alfie, please do a video on the pitiful situation the Bulgarian national football team is currently in. Here are a couple of points to give you an idea about what I'm talking about:
    - Currently, the team is in a streak of 8 winless games, at the bottom of its qualification group for the 2024 Euro, with no chances of qualifying, after losing to opponents such as Montenegro and Lithuania.
    - The team's last win was almost a year ago - on 16.11.2022 in a friendly against Cyprus. Our last win in an official match was more than a year ago - on 26.09.2022 against North Macedonia.
    - The national football team of Bulgaria has been constantly performing bad for at least the last 20 years. The last big tournament we played was the 2004 Euro in Portugal, where we were humiliated in the group stage.
    - Many supporters blame the current bosses of the Bulgarian Football Union for this downfall. The most notable of them are Borislav Mihaylov, Emil Kostadinov and Yordan Lechkov - 3 players who were part of the great 1994 WC team which reached the semi-finals of the tournament. Sadly, those people's success as players has been overshadowed by their lack of capability or willingness to resolve many of the problems in our football - the out-of-date training systems, the poor football infrastructure etc. What's worse is that they refuse to resign a failure after another and they have changed the rules of the union in a way that makes them irremovable for more than 18 years.
    - Recently a couple of players from the next generation - Dimitar Berbatov, Stiliyan Petrov and Martin Petrov started a campaign, trying to overthrow the aforementioned but as I said the rules are in the bosses' favour.
    - Meanwhile fans are getting really angry with the situation and are starting to take measures. During the last couple of weeks, at many matches of the First and Second Football Leagues the fans were chanting against Mihaylov and company and displayed banners against them. Of course, the BFU fined the clubs for "obscene chants and banners".
    - There is a campaign on social media calling fans of all local clubs to put their differences aside and come to the Euro qualifier with Hungary on 16.11 and show their disapproval of the current BFU leaders.
That's the main points, I'm sure that if you dig a little you'll find much more. Please consider doing such a video, the anti-BFU sentiments are getting stronger and we need to disturb those self-serving ex-legends in every way possible. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Failed to achieve immediate promotion in 2021/22 season.
    Get promoted in 2022/23 season.
And yes, both Sheffield clubs are just capitulated with almost identical record. No single win at their hands, sat on bottom of the table, and humiliating defeats.
Sheffield United is even worse. Losing 0-8 to Newcastle United is such an embarrassing because they did this at Bramall Lane.

Can't see us ever going in the right direction until the owner goes, which I don't hold much hope for it being anytime soon. As others have said, there is more chance of us playing in league 2 than in the Premier league. All that effort and monumental achievement in the play offs, just to appear (as things stand) to throw it all away. Sad times.

We're not beholden to the whims of a greedy investor looking to make a quick buck, or a petty tyrant who has no idea what they're doing. We're not facing a financial black hole or an existential crisis. I wish every club could be that lucky, but it feels like things in the EFL are only going to get worse before they get better.

The reason Sheffield Wednesday haven't won a single game so far this season is simple! DM got them back in The Championship after an amazing result in the play offs, one of the best comebacks in football history. Now you would think that with promotion achieved they would do everything in their power to keep the manager after all the great work he's done for the club, but no! whatever the discussions were between the SW Board and DM something broke down, whether it was money or something else who knows? now they have sacked their new manager who couldn't get anything out of the team and at this rate they will be relegated for sure. DM is a good manager, when things aren't broken don't try and fix them! Lesson learnt I hope.
