I think you are right. But how many teens and twens watch this video. Maybe some mothers with school kids.
My guess is that the majority is 40+ and 99% of them are women.

I have done this method for over 30 years and I still use this method when I I need to, but your reverse transfer method is SO much easier. I taught tole painting for many years doing this method to paint signs or designs on wood pieces. Painting has become so much easier with people like yourself that share their knowledge here on TH-cam. Thank you Deidra

A beautiful rustic sign. Thanks for sharing the video. I'm old school, but I haven't used carbon paper for ages (last century probably). But I still have a bunch of it. I've never thrown it away. What I remember from primary school (we were redrawing animals that time) that we used a not too sharp pencil with another colour than the black lines of the example so that it was easy to see if we drew everywhere we needed to. And afterwards we erased the pencil lines and we could use the template again.
For this reason I guess it would be easier to have a text with "open" letters.
The text of the sign in your video is only a part of the whole sign. You made a real piece of art out of it with all the bells (literally) and whistles.

This is what I do now. I was telling you about it. Works best on smooth wood. I just like to color and have no artistic talent so this is what I’ve been doing. It’s fun. I just posca pens and others. Excited to see how my reverse transfers come out tomorrow. Thanks again Deidre.

Weird question, what font is that? My bestie is getting married and we are doing all decor ourselves. Her new last name starts with a W and she has had a certain very specific way she wanted the W to look. She saw this video and is absolutely going nuts because she says this is it. You wouldn't happen to able to share the font name if you know it would you?
