    That's a great point around 15:15 that you can be patient from the top and just add a little extra momentum with the body and that the real speed comes at the VERY bottom. I struggle with firing everything from the top of the swing also, I think this will help. Thanks!

    Hey Rst , at 23 : 50 when Chuck is explaining releasing the angle it might seem He’s doing a split hands drill, /hockey type drill . Has He ever used this similar motion in its own lesson ? Thank You

    Force = mass x acceleration
    Making sure your foundation is supporting your swing will maximize the mass part. The change in speed is what then generates the rest of the force. It tends to correlate a bit with velocity in the golf swing based on the measurements, but the real force is the rate of change of the velocity.

    Hello Chuck,great lesson.Let the arms drop first and have a small circle.That's also my missing part.Hopefully this spring we can be golfing.Thanks.

  • @cmsima
    @cmsima 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Don’t the arms drop as you shift your weight and “squat to square”? Effectively - during the squat your hips are rotating but your arms are dropping vertically because your upper body remains coiled. Right?

    • @Rotaryswing
      @Rotaryswing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wouldn’t say that ur upper body remains coiled as that would put a lot of stress on the spine but you’re not ripping it open either. But yes your arms should drop during the shift

    GREAT JOB, AGAIN!

  • @amfohr
    @amfohr 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It also means you need a certain angle between the arm and the shaft in order to have the hands swing on a smaller arc. People having a setup with their arms extended to the golfball will never be able to swing the hands on a smaller arc I guess.

  • @nickdaniels3466
    @nickdaniels3466 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    My thought... Turn your shoulders back more than you turn your hips stretching the big muscle between your lead shoulder and lead hip. On the transition maybe even stretch that muscle a bit more. Push the lead leg into the ground moving the lead hip up and open pulling that muscle keeping it stretched until a little before your hips have fully cleared then "release" muscle to let your shoulders finally turn into the shot...

    I don’t get the message at 5:24-5:50. Cameron Champ’s hips are maxed out and have no where to go way before impact... and he’s the tour’s driving leader. Doesn’t that contradict this message?
