      #8 I thought I was but perhaps I wasn't. I helped multiple felons with food, clothing, tax years unfilled, jobs, resumes and when I was in trouble, none of these "rehabilitated" fools called me once. Maybe they didn't like the white boy who wasn't a felon. Who knows. Be careful who you help should be #8.5

    The best part of the video is at 05:02, discussing "Protect Your Time." It highlights the value of time as an irreplaceable asset that must be guarded against waste. This lesson encourages prioritizing meaningful activities and living intentionally to achieve personal growth and purpose

    • @TheStoicBeacon-TGG
      @TheStoicBeacon-TGG 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's true that time is an irreplaceable asset, and the lesson at 05:02 really drives home how crucial it is to guard it against unnecessary distractions. Seneca's wisdom on living intentionally resonates deeply. If time is such a valuable resource, do you think we sometimes spend too much of it seeking external validation rather than focusing on what truly matters to us? What are some of the ways you protect your time in your own life?

      It’s truly insightful to reflect on how conquering oneself can lead to greater mastery in life. When we focus on self-discipline, emotional control, and perspective, we gain the ability to influence our responses to the world around us. Seneca’s teachings provide valuable guidance in this journey. But I wonder, is there a specific practice or principle from Stoicism that you find most challenging to apply in your own life?

In a world filled with distractions and temptations, cultivating self-discipline is essential for personal growth and success. In all my failures in life, I've always learned from them. Now, mine latest lesson taught me the very reason I'm not well understood...(Communication), instead of bottling up mine, disappointments... Communicating, them would keep me from expressing them in a harmful way... 😂

    You should read Plato. He is much wiser than Seneca. All the respect to Seneca.
