    Just found your channel and subscribed. I enjoy your perspective and look forward to watching more of your videos. I ran a small junk removal dump trailer business on the side and had a ton of fun for about 18 months before my family started needing more of my attention, but I plan one day to have another small business when I have more time.

    Would love to see a video on how to charge your customers for the different types of jobs you do with the JD and the different attachments.

      I pretty much do $45/hr for any kind of work with a $100 minimum charge

    Tractor Time With Tim is an awesome channel. Tim has also inspired me to purchase a 1025R --taking delivery on Tuesday. I appreciate your videos after running across your channel a few days ago. Good job!

    This is the best thing I have ever seen!! I am in Pennsylvania and I collect vintage tractors. I am starting a mobile welding and repair business and hope to add what you do as well. Thank you!!!

    Glad I found your channel. The 1025R is the reason I was able to start our Christmas Tree business! Keep up the good work!

      Thanks for your support! The 1025r is such an incredibly capable tool to have. I grew up in Wisconsin and was surrounded by a number of Christmas tree farms. Nothing like the smell of fresh cut Christmas tree!

    You gained a subscriber! I also have a side hustle with my 1025R here in WI and actually make decent money. Maybe some day it will turn into a legitimate business for me. Keep up with good work.

    Another great video Dash! I'm thinking of getting a tiller, and had thoughts of offering it for hire in order to justify/pay for the purchase. I like the idea of adding to my attachment arsenal too, but I want to make sure I know how to use these things before I start offering services with them. I'm semi-retired, so I'm in no big hurry!
    Thanks again Dash...keep up the great work!

    • @TheLittleGreenTractor
      @TheLittleGreenTractor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, Tom! Having a tiller is much more versatile than I originally thought. The soil here in ND is very dry right now making the soil compacted. When I need to move earth I use it very frequently to break up the soil so I can scoop it with ease. I envy you with being semi-retired! I have about 30 years of work left in front of me haha and that's if I play my cards right! Thanks for being a great viewer, Tom. It's very appreciated.

    I noticed this video was three years old and thought I would ask you how your business is going with the 1025R as I’m thinking about doing something similar I’m in middle Tennessee

    Would love to start doing something like this on the side. Mostly just to play with my new tractor. I just think I live in such a rural area that there wouldn't be much interest.

    First great job on your success so far! An idea could you show your dump trailer in detail and your other trailer. Maybe all your equipment on why you went with that type and size.

    Just started following and loving the content. I’ve been researching sub compact tractors after purchasing 8 acres in the Adirondacks (upstate New York). I’d love to support the channel. Any chance these little green tractor hoodies or hats are available? Thanks man.

    • @TheLittleGreenTractor
      @TheLittleGreenTractor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey thanks man! Much appreciated! Congratulations on your 8 acres! I’m a bit jealous of all that “play land” for a tractor. I’m working on getting some hats and hoodies to put on TH-cam for purchase. Not quite there yet but hopefully soon! Thanks again for your support!

    Hello Dash! What services and implements/equipment seem to be in highest demand in your area? I’m wondering which of those might be most useful in my area?

    • @TheLittleGreenTractor
      @TheLittleGreenTractor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi William! You know it really varies actually. In the spring there is a high demand for garden tilling. Then late spring early summer seems to be yard cleanups and tree removals. Throughout the summer it’s a good mixture of all things but usually the rotary cutting starts to pick up as the grass and weeds start to get taller. So it really varies. Depending on what part of the country and the climate you live will dictate the kind of work that’s demanded. I hope this helps? Thanks for asking!

      Mostly through a local advertising app that is similar to craigslist, but its just in the Bismarck area. I also advertise on facebook.

    Hello , my name is Bill, I have done tractor work for many years and one year ago I decided I would invest my own tractor and attempt to start my own business. I got a few jobs from a local landscaping material supplier. He does not work there much anymore and I haven’t got one lead in 4months . I have 3 kids so there’s a lot of pressure on me . I thought this tractor would never at least cover its own expenses let alone not produce one dollar in 4 months . I admit I’m not a savvy businessman but people do like me . I’m assign you for any tips to get some calls . I have tried Facebook, craigslist, business cards. All without any serious leads, any thoughts or advice you may have would be greatly appreciated thank you and have a great day
