I am a fan of the CM aep range, especially now they have a mosfet and a lipo. We didn't get the mosfet one as I didn't pay for this one, someone paid me to put it on the order and he didn't want the mosfet one for some reason. There is always next time thought lol. Hello, the normal batteries are the nihm type ones. You can use either the lipo or the nimh type battery, but the lipos supply the power needed better to the gun than the nihm types do. So you will see a marked improvement in the performance of it (Rate of fire and how quickly it will complete a shot in general) Lipos also seem to last longer / more mags of ammo fired before needing to be charged again. Hello, in the video, at around the 5 min mark I take the cover off. There is a level with a green circle sticker on it, pull on that lever to remove the battery. Pheas
Unfortunately it wouldn't be able to take one. The slide doesn't have a mounting point and no one makes a kit to fit anything to it like they do the for the Glock 18c aep. The only option ... And it's not a great one... Is too glue one on... Pheas

The cyma Glock (cm.030) has a lower rail in whixh will take a torch on it, but you can buy a muzzle adapter (a Tokyo marui and cyma one exists) that adds a suppressor adapter at the front (negative 14mm thread) and a top rail to add any red dots etc you could want. I can't remember off the top of my head but another modem has the same too. If you weren't fussed about the Glock in terms of looks. But the Glock is a very good aep. Pheas

Hello! If you are buying the type WITHOUT a mosfet in it already (uses the traditional type of aep batteries) then make sure you buy an aep lipo this fits just the same and requires NO modding at all. If it is a mosfet type, then most of them seem to have a micro deans connector, so you will need to find the appropriate sized lipo to fit in the gun and have a micro deans fitted to it to fit. But this should not require any modding and the use of a lipo (unless you are using some crazy high voltage lipo) should not invalidate your warranty, especially if there is no modding. In fact I doubt they would even know / tell if you had used one (unless modding) Hope that helps. Pheas.
Hello! My 13 year old has one and it's alright actually in his hand! It won't fit in normal 1911 holsters though, needs a generic adjustable holster to holster it. But your 13 year old will be fine with it. Pheas

Any tip to make grip safety easier to press? Mine seems to be too hard. I guess i'd have to wrap it over with tape, or glue it pernamently.

What's a Li-Po compared to the normal battery? Can it just be interchanged with the normal battery without modifying the gun?

Unfortunately it wouldn't be able to take one. The slide doesn't have a mounting point and no one makes a kit to fit anything to it like they do the for the Glock 18c aep. The only option ... And it's not a great one... Is too glue one on... Pheas
