    Oh hey! TH-cam just recommended you to me :) I'm so happy to see other people in the LGBTQIA+ community out here (I'm a lesbian). I was worried if I started I'd
    facing a lot of prejudice. I'm thinking of living in an RV permanently. I'm specifically looking at the escape 19' and towing it with my Subaru Ascent. Your videos have been super helpful! Looking forward to more and to see more of your adventures! Wishing you all the best.

      That’s so awesome! I’m happy you took the time to comment. We’ve traveled quite a bit and have been fortunate enough to not face any kind of prejudice so far. Feel free to ask any questions along the way if there is anything we can help with.

    Using a pad or covering of some sort on the step is very important for another reason, as it keeps a dog’s toenails from getting caught in those little holes in the steel step. There have been horrible accidents in which a dog has had a nail completely ripped off as it was going outside. So please, if you have a dog and holes on your step, cover your step.

    • @md.adventures
      @md.adventures  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      That is a very good point! I’ve seen it happen with my own eyes. If you have a dog, cover your step.

    I’m a newbie to rving! I just bought a Intech Sol Dawn. Love it so much, it’s very small and cozy, ideal for a newbie like me. I would love to gradually upsize to an Escape trailer. I just love them and love that they are fibreglass and Canadian. Thanks for the tour. Love your home! And your pup!

      @@md.adventures they are beautiful, but very pricey, with not the greatest storage. The biggest plus for me is the nicest most waterprooof wet bath I’ve ever seen. We got an amazing deal on a 2021 very gently used. I love the more traditional look and storage space of the escape. Who knows maybe someday.

      Hi. We're looking at a used 19 Escape. Do you feel your V6 4Runner is adequate as a tow vehicle? Our Nissan Frontier has a V6. Safe travels guys.

      Yes the Frontier is similar to the Toyota Highlander and many Highlander pull the Escape 19

    Great tour video of you guy's setup and use of your entire space! I definitely like the clever idea with the sponge keeping the paper towels intact, the outside water faucet/bucket and the two way hose splitter ( I need to invest in this one myself)! Although I'm a solo traveler, I still be cautious of what I bring along- especially considering weight/load capacity etc. I do most of my cooking outside (weather permitting/summer months) using my Zempire deluxe camp stove! I was looking to buy a Berkey water filter as well, but man they most be popular and work really well because they tend to sell out fast!

    • @md.adventures
      @md.adventures  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ya that certainly makes sense, it’s always good to be cautious of how much you load up. The Berkey has been a great addition, definitely worth the investment to always have drinking water without having to cart around plastic bottles.

    We have a Happier Camper HC1 Breeze because we searched for a lightweight fibreglass camper that didn’t have a stove/oven or a shower room. We didn’t want to pay for things we wouldn’t use.

    Nice tour! We own a 1981 Trillium 5500, which is basically the 'ancestor' of your E19: almost the exact same floor plan, only the 5500 is about a foot shorter (our bed is slightly narrower). It's funny to see how you use the same storage compartments for the same purpose as we do, it almost felt like you toured our own trailer! We boondock quite often so we tend to use our propane appliances a lot, we don't carry anything that runs on AC like microwave or toaster oven, we cook almost always on the gas stove. Our 5500 also has a wet bath similar to yours and we use our own shower most of the time, it works great. The E17 et E19 trailers are what brought us to the fiberglass trailer world but they were out of our budget. Then someone mentioned that they are essentially the same as an old Trillium 5500 from the 80s... We eventually found one for sale, spent two years restoring and renovating it, and we're in love with it. Only an E19 would make us get rid of it!

      That’s so awesome! Love hearing about your trillium. We actually started with a 13’ 1978 trillium. I’ve got a tour of that video on here as well: 1976 Trillium 1300 | Trailer Tour (Episode 32)
