So beautiful! I love the descant at the end. It's an old, old story, but how fantastic it is! Looking forward to singing it in those scenes of glory, for all eternity! I honestly get choked up and cannot sing that stanza, but Lord I love it so.

I have always loved that hymn but it was to a different tune years ago although I do know and like the one performed by the Choir in the video. Never heard of "Hankey". Could it be "Sankey"? I am curious to talk to Catherine hankey. To just ask her what her general thoughts were about john 12: 25 and mark 8: 35. While she wrote this song. This has always been my favourite hymn. And I do like hymns.
