    My goal is to get a home use hyperbaric chamber so I can use it often. Insurance doesn’t cover this therapy despite the literature showing benefits that are unmatched in any other treatment (ex: angiogenesis shown by MRI). This is a cornerstone of regenerative medicine right alongside stem cells. I like the fact it’s completely natural too. I would love to see the hyperbaric chamber used more often in the western world and third world missionary work also.

It was super expensive though. More expensive than centrifuged stem cells...I’ve seen hyperbaric therapy treatments go for about 60k in the US. Entire home use machines are way less than that. They also require the machines to have lower pressures at home since they’re used without medical supervision.

    I've been wondering why this is only available to celebrities, athletes, etc. Why do burn victims that are put into hyperbaric chambers heal with barely any scars? Why do pro athletes bone breaks heal at 2x the rate of everyone elses? Super saturation of oxygen throughout the body regardless of cellular function or movement. It's literally the closest exploit we have for manipulating oxygen in the tissues. This is slept on by everyone except the super rich and wealthy that have regular access to it. All these famous billionaires trying to manipulate their cellular function to reverse aging. Yet, we already have something that doesnt care about your cellular function and creates new cellular tissue. I'd literally just eat optimally raised and fed animals, game meats, veggies/fruits from optimally nutrient soil, swim in cold water, sprint, use a sauna daily, micro dose HGH and testosterone, hang upright for 5 min daily, hang upside down for 10 min, drink greens and collagen 3x a day, and sleep in a hyperbaric chamber at 60 degrees. This alone would basically keep you healthy and disease free for quite some time

    If you want to use more o2: 1 do more z2 cardio to make more mitocondria. 2. Eat enough iron and vit C and glucose to make more RBC. 3. Do vo2 max workouts. 4 Breath throgh the nose to keep the CO2 level high so more o2 is delivered to rhe cells. Noone needs more o2. We have enough. What we need is more co2. It is against logic, but the transfer of o2 is regulated by co2. Forcing more o2 in the body only help those with serious breathing problems

    • @YIO777
      @YIO777 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Is that why breathing into a bag helps calm people?

    • @danalmasan
      @danalmasan 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is why you get lightheaded when you hyperventilate. You lose the Co2 and with that the ability to transfer the O2 from the bloodstream to the working cells. Hyperventilation brings a lot of O2 but creates a CO2 deficit. If you want to calm down, which I recommend, is to slow down breathing. Breathing less will raise the CO2 and so will increase the utilization of O2.

    We have a clinics where I'm from that offer HBOT. I've tried it but only once. The pressure in the bag lasts about 10 min I believe when it is filling up. It feels like being in an airplane. Then it's felt again at the end of the session. It cannot just be turned off and jump out of the chamber immediately. I was also informed it is not 100% O2. It's considered recreational and about 97%. But still good. I didn't feel a difference - again only used it once- but I believe in the science. My vet clinic I worked at used it often on patients and we could SEE the benefit it made.

    Here is a summary with each question asked and the corresponding answer:
    Q: What is hbot (hyperbaric oxygen therapy)?
    A: HBOT involves increased atmospheric pressure plus increased inspired oxygen. The increased pressure allows more oxygen to be dissolved into the plasma, providing up to 1200% more oxygen in circulation compared to normal.
    Q: How does HBOT apply to performance and recovery for athletes?
    A: After an HBOT session, there is a period of about 30 minutes where the extra oxygen in circulation allows athletes to train harder, faster and longer before hitting their lactic threshold. HBOT can also significantly speed recovery after training by reducing inflammation, improving immune function, and releasing stem cells.
    Q: Does HBOT blunt the adaptation from exercise?
    A: Using deeper HBOT pressures right before or after very intense training can potentially blunt adaptations by reducing the "stress" on the body. However, using milder pressures a few hours after exercise can aid recovery without interfering with adaptations.
    Q: How does HBOT impact longevity and healthspan?
    A: HBOT has been shown to improve mitochondrial function, reduce inflammation, increase stem cell production, and clear senescent/"zombie" cells - all factors that can extend healthspan and lifespan. It may also increase collagen production and improve skin quality.
    Q: Are there people who should not use HBOT?
    A: Those with lung diseases, pregnancy, fevers, or who require supplemental oxygen generally should not use HBOT. It may also not be advised for those overtraining or with chronic infections until their foundation is improved.
    Q: Can diet influence the effects of HBOT?
    A: Being in ketosis can protect the brain from oxidative stress during HBOT sessions and prevent rare seizure risk. A ketogenic diet is often recommended, especially for those with brain injuries/impairment.
    Q: How does HBOT impact sleep/the glymphatic system?
    A: Clinically, athletes often report improved sleep scores, recovery scores and HRV when using HBOT before bed. This is likely due to improved lymphatic flow and detoxification, including in the glymphatic system of the brain.

My father died of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis many years ago. I found out about proteolytic enzymes too late to help him, but maybe they can help your father. These enzymes break down the fibrosis and also prevent the future formation of fibrosis. Have him take a lot, always on an empty stomach, and do your research on which enzymes are best for fibrosis. People living in higher altitudes tend to live longer due to lower oxygen levels in the air.

    but, to get oxygen from the blood into the cells, it takes carbon dioxide.

    A quick Google search shows that it costs between $300-$1000+ PER session. Got anything effective that doesn't have such a ridiculous price tag? Maybe more outdoor time? O2 masks when grinding? Win the lottery? The kindness of the clinic's heart to help their fellow man?
    I love your content most of the time, Thomas, but this one is some serious high nose snobbery hah ha look at what I can afford stuff right here. It's effective, sure, but not at all cost effective.

    • @Altinos
      @Altinos 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Look into altitude simulators and intermittent hypoxia. You breathe in air that has a much lower oxygen content for a few minutes, then breath normal air for a few minutes. This causes your lungs to pull in way more oxygen than normal. Is it as effective as HBOT? Probably not, but way more convenient and affordable. I have a Mile High Altitude Training system.

    this doctor speaks way too fast with a subject that is that complicated. I prefer way more when you, Thomas, take such a subject and shorten it in like 10-15 minutes and that it is you explain it to us. You speak slower and much clearer. i understand that having guess on your show may be a good way to get more views but for the viewer experience, well for me anyway, it is very less enjoyable. I have not miss one single video of you in the past 5 years but everytime you have a guess, you kinda lose me ( well, 80% of the time). It may be just me, but I doubt that I am the only one.
    Now, let's go haters, punch me with your comments....like everytime i gives my honest opinion! ("no one cares about what you think...bla bla bla....")

      1. You can't get more than 100% oxygen saturation which a normal person gets breathing 21% oxygen in normal air: 2. The only solid evidence I can find for HB is for treating The Bends and Ulcers, the rest is sketchy evidence at best where risks outweigh benefits. 3. People who own HB machines push them like vitamins, after all it is a business 4. You always have to recognise the placebo effect! 5. The negative effects from the literature are: Coughing and shortness of breath (dyspnea). Also Lung damage, Fluid buildup or bursting (rupture) of the middle ear, Sinus damage, Changes in vision, causing nearsightedness, or myopia, Oxygen poisoning, which can cause lung failure, fluid in the lungs, or seizures. Severe cases may result in death.@@ThomasDeLauerOfficial

      @@ThomasDeLauerOfficial Thomas EWOT will do the same for cheaper price. with incease of Co2 and high vascular pressure form cardio breathing at 90% o2 you get same or metter effect. especially if you use the contrast systems sold online. I tried HBOT and EWOT 100s of times. both great. 1 of them cheaper in the long run. plus the added cardio benefits from EWOT.
