I started doing reaction videos a while back with editing and all, copyrights are absolute hell man. Far as I know you can maybe get clear of it by submitting no monetization on these videos? I know that sucks not making money off of views but it could save you some headache and getting blocked. Eventually you'll make money off of ads if you get big enough. Either way keep it up!

@ShadeReactsLive the song starts Kisune, Kitsune. Watashi wa Megitsune. Fox, Fox. I am a female fox.
Megitsune is also slang for a manipulative woman. The song is saying we are pure hearted Maidens not manipulative.

I agree, I like a reaction with one or two versions of the same song. However, I fear for his next video if Shade is going to react to four versions with the different girls doing their birthday performances of Headbanger, as we will have the Yui version, one of two Moa versions, the Momo version and one of the many Su versions. A.) It could be a very long video, and B.) There will need to be a lot of editing to get the reaction uploaded.

There are so many good things to say about your reaction here I'm not sure where to start. So that said this format you did today that kind of covers the history of Babymetal was a blast. I had no idea it ran 35 minutes long. And I give credit to you and Babymetal for that. You have a really natural, unaffected way of doing your reactions. You really share how the music is hitting you. For we who have heard these songs many times before we at least myself, I get to experience them new again through your eyes. Five stars on the multiple song format.
You got the 1997 right as the year Su was born. One of the keepers of the lore in Babymetal reaction comments said that they have performed this song live over 380 times. I don't tend to play the same song back to back like this so it was such a treat seeing and hearing particularly how Su's voice has matured. She has always been amazing but now she really pulls of the rock queen roll so naturally.
The PIA Arena concert was a two night affair. Black Night and Clear Night. Black Night Momo was still not officially a member of BM. An announcement was made at the end of Black Night about her "induction?". On Clear Night all the ladies had new costumes and Momo now had her microphone.
The Headbanger binge is a great idea and yeah many great performances. A couple thoughts that may help you. Unlike Megitsune the Headbanger MV is very different from the live. Due to the abundance of great live performances I'd personally suggest the following (and I'll include the links). Headbanger Live @ Legend 1997 Apocalypse: th-cam.com/video/YjjWZpf_jSs/w-d-xo.html This one is celebrating Su's 16th birthday. Then Babymetal - Headbanger (Moa Version / Legend M): th-cam.com/video/s-oK5KdjSQ4/w-d-xo.html This is celebrating Moa's 20th. birthday. And finally Headbanger (Momoko ver.) (Legend MM 2024 Live): th-cam.com/video/19nntDDbYdg/w-d-xo.html And this one is celebrating Momo's 20/21st birthday (that too is a story). Here you will start in 2014 and will finish in 2024 and get all (except Yui's) birthdays which as a celebration of member's birthdays is one of the roles Headbanger plays.
In the birthday versions the person whose birthday is being acknowledged gets to take over on lead vocals. Witch is really a special treat. Headbanger audience participation goes to a next level. I won't say anymore than that.
Thanks so much for doing this on Christmas. Just came home from a lovely meal at the in-laws and what a dessert to settle in with a full stomach to a medley of Babymetal. Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🤘🎄🦊🦊🦊🎄🤘

You just missed them in Oklahoma City last month and they wrapped up the 2024 World Tour in Anaheim, CA on Dec 3-5, I was there. Expect them back around this time next year. They usually tour the states somewhere between Sept and Dec each year.
Fair warning: Their shows sell out super fast. They normally play smaller venues in the states, 2000-5000 capacity, and their fans typically travel all over the world to see them. Presale and same day sale often sells out within hours, if not minutes, in larger markets. Only the Des Moines show failed to sell out this tour, it was still packed, however, I was there too. Anaheim had to add extra dates because it kept selling out in an hour. They ended up doing three back to back shows because of the demand. If you want VIP, you have to be early as well. As said, the international travelling fans snatch those up really quickly. Also expect to pay about 300 a ticket for VIP level, 80 or so for general admission.
I saw them eight times since Sept 2023, and while the smaller venues lack the massive production seen in their live videos, nothing else is any less. They are as good live as you would expect. Note that they typically perform a 60-75 minute 10-12 song set. Their shows are short but intense. Every show I have been to, I left out of breath and exhausted. They only do longer setlists and high production performances for Legend level Arena shows like the ones you have been watching. Other than a handful of performances (The Forum in LA 2019, upcoming O2 in London in May 2025), nearly all of those are done in Japan only.
Moreso than any reaction or trip through learning about them, the real experience is that live in person performance. For me as a fan, there is a time before Sept 24, 2023, and a time after. I did not fully understand until that day in Milwaukee, WI. Its a testament to their live performance, being a Minneapolis resident, that I have now traveled to Milwaukee WI, Des Moines IA, Madison WI, San Francisco CA, and Anaheim CA just to see them perform over the last 18 months. Travelling to Japan for a Legend show is on the list of "must do's" over the next couple of years.
BABYMETAL made me start travelling again. I look forward to booking flights and hotels this coming year for the inevitable 2025 World Tour, the European leg of which is already scheduled for May with Poppy.

Legend 1997 - concert for Su's 16th birthday; she was born in 1997.
    Legend1999 - concert for Moa's and Yui's 16th birthday; both were born in 1997.
Legend S: Baptism XX - concert for Su's 20th birthday. ("S" for Su)
Legend M: Babymetal Arises/Beyond the Moon - concert for Moa's 20th birthday. ("M" for Moa)
Legend MM - two concerts, in 2023 and 2024, for Momo's 20th and 21st birthdays, respectively. ("MM" for Momo)
Lgend 43 - theatrical movie released just a few weeks ago, taken from the final shows of the 2023-2024 tour, and the only Legend show not related to the members' names or birthdays. It is also known as Legend Shisa. Shisa is a divine guardian from the mythos of Okinawa, where the concert was held (a statue of the Shisa also features in the stage set). The Japanese characters for the word "Shisa" are also used to represent the numbers 4 and 3, hence the name of the concert.
By the way, the word they are chanting isn't "sorry," it is "sore" (pronounced "so-reh"). In this particular use, it is a word that has a happy or celebratory meaning similar to "hooray" or "hey." It kind of goes hand-in-hand with the overall theme of the song, which is a commentary on how society expects women to put on a positive and happy face, even if they are hurting inside. Some people consider this "false face" that women put forward to be deceptive, which is why they are compared to female foxes, as foxes are viewed as sly and deceptive creatures.

ah, Megitsune, pretty much a signature song for them, they have performed it more than any other of their songs, unfortunately the bigger shows have their shenanigans edited out, but luckily sharp-eyed fans notice some time ago that Moa always does some kind of funny business trying to get Su and Momo and Yui to laugh and has been successful numerous times, there are some great comp videos of the part where it happens and bless Moa's heart for coming up with something new every time. You are in luck dude, they skipped Texas this year, and that means they will be back there next tour, which will probably be announced on Fox-Day april 1st, another US tour which might just hit Dallas, Houston, and maybe Austin or another city, so yeah I think most of us would love to watch you react to at least 6 different versions of Headbanger...lol no matter what path you take down the fox-hole, it is an amazing journey, so don't be overwhelmed by our enthusiasm , we just feel like we discovered something special and feel the need to share it with the world. So , yeah I have seen a hundred different bands in my many years of concert going, and I'll tell you this, the 6 best concerts I have ever seen wert BABYMETAL and if I could trade in some of the hundreds of bands I've seen for more BABYMETAL, I would in a heartbeat, because like it or not they ARE the best Live band on earth. #notacult #bestcultever and oh one more thing, Megitsune is the hardest song for Su, so of course she uses it to find her levels and her tone in rehearsals.

  • @Grington300
    @Grington300 11 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +7

Great triple reaction and personally I really like the idea of watching the official video and one or two very different live performances.
They were not chanting "sorry". They were singing in Japanese, so it was "sore" (OK it sounds similar) which is a sort of call of encouragement shouted at festivals, think "go go go".
'Megitsune' is a big fan favourite, often coming top in fan polls and it is the song they have played live more times than any other.
It was the first single they released after splitting from the parent group Sakura Gakuin to become an independent band in their own right - that was in 2013 - this video was released when Su-metal was 15, Yuimetal and Moametal were 13, about to turn 14.
Legend 1997 was December 2013 the day after Su-metal's 16th birthday, Yui and Moa were both 14.
'Megitsune' is arguably the song that showcases better than most what BABYMETAL are about and one that truly reflects their Japanese culture the best starting with the traditional instruments (shamisen or koto, you decide which) in the intro and the lyrics about women being compared to foxes (kitsune - which also explains all the fox masks in the video🦊) which, in Japanese mythology, are able to shape shift and take human form in order to deceive.
It is also a bit of a push back against the traditional female role in Japanese society I think - or maybe it is - they are becoming more assertive, less subservient, but they are also praising and celebrating the women who have played that role over the years for their strength.
They are saying that women wearing their make up and hiding their true feelings ("crying at heart, smiling at face") are not trying to deceive anybody, they are simply trying to please everybody - so they are not deceptive kitsune (foxes), they are pure hearted megitsune (female foxes or vixens) - and they are strong.
The melody used in the breakdown with the pig squeals in the middle of the song (and in the intro when they play it live) is the exact melody from the very well known Japanese folk song called 'Sakura Sakura' (Cherry Blossoms).
That was Yui and Moa looking in at Su behind the fox masks ... and yes they were having fun, there is a commentary video where they said they were just having fun and playing and that the corridor was very slippery so Moa slipped and fell at one point.
When Su pulled out the tanto (short blade) from her microphone she said "Otome wa ... nametara ikan zeyo." (Maidens ... shouldn't be underestimated). The last part of this is a famous quote from a Japanese gangster movie said by the daughter of a gang boss.
Much of the video was shot on location at the Asagaya Shinmei Shrine in Tokyo. This has become a place of pilgrimage for BABYMETAL fans visiting Tokyo. The guys at the back wearing their kitsune masks and waving the traditional instruments about were dancers with the lady who did the fan dance's troupe.

This one was about girl power basically. The fate of a lady is to bloom then grow old and fade away. "We smile at face but cry at heart, never showing our tears" is one of the lines in Megitsune.

The fan dedication is the best. In the early days when they were just kids you couldn't help but cheer them on. The mix of metal and choreo in tutu's was so weird but they were clearly putting their whole hearts into every single performance and you just couldn't help but cheer them on...and the louder we cheered, the harder they went, and the harder they went, the louder we cheered.
As to video formats, just do whatever feels the best for you. We've all seen these videos a hundred times, and we'll watch them a hundred times more...what's fun here is watching you realize they're as awesome as we all already know they are. Just do whatever format you want so long as it stays interesting to you.
Plan someday in the future to watch a few whole concerts though. It's not great for reactions, but there's an extra magic when you see how long they manage to keep up the energy levels. With their shows it feels like every song rachets the hype in the room another notch higher, and by the end you're feeling all wired up and exhasted for them at the same time.

I am not sure if this is a general Japanese thing but as you mention, western bands usually talk to the audience between songs.
Babymetal does not do that. In order for the girls and the band to have small breaks they have these extended intros to the songs.
There are certain songs like Megitsune that give Su the opportunity to directly speak to the audience which she usually does in the country's language. At least she lears two or three sentences.
It's these things and the fun they have on stage that make babymetal such a unique experience.

Great reaction! The triple reaction format is very nice, and I´m totally ok with watching half an hour of reaction to certain versions of a BABYMETAL song, Keep ´em coming! 😄 I already know most of the different versions of all BABYMETAL songs (I still don´t know all versions available on YT!), and I know them very well. Binge watching BABYMETAL live performances is a rather normal thing when you just learned about them. I learned about them in 2016😉
There are two exceptions from this rule, and these are "up down left right BBAB", a song they NEVER performed live, and "Tales Of The Destinies", a song they performed live only ONCE. I know them, of course, but there´s no "different" version I know of 😉
"Megitsune" is a staple song, you´ll see it on the setlist of nearly every concert they performed, or will perform. It´s the song the played live the most, almost 400 times now, and counting. Its a treat to watch performances of "Megitsune" at the smaller venues they played, because they do some stage shenanigans at the end of the bridge, the part with the melody of "Sakura Sakura" (Cherry blossom, an ancient Japanese nursing rhyme), when they perform at small venues. "Omajination" has a number of fancam compilations showing the "Megitsune Hengao" of several world tours.
Your jaw drop on seeing the crowd at PIA Arena MM was fun to watch. But believe me, you haven´t seen anything yet. At Legend MM you have an even bigger crowd to watch. Not to mention the performances at the Tokyo Dome in 2016 😉
In earlier times they named their two-evening-concerts in Japan "Red Night" and "Black Night" most of the time. It fitted their colour scheme at that time, and signified the different setlist per evening. At PIA Arena MM things went a little bit different, because of Momo. She said in an interview, that for her the "Black Night" was exactly that. Dark, dominated by anxiety. Something in that iine. She didn´t know what to expect, when the fans learn that she will permanently take Yuimetal´s spot, from the next evening on. She wondered if she would be accepted by the fans and such. After hearing all the cheers from the crowd, hearing the relief the crowd expressed with the cheers, the next evening appeared clear to her, light, and full of joy. Like there were dark and heavy clouds the evening before, and with the second night the sky cleared up, and all things shined in a different light.
I wondered about that a little bit, as she was accepted by the fans already, at least by most of them. You could see this in certain performances, where she interacted with the crowd. They loved her. Yeah, she couldn´t interact with the crowd the same way she does nowadays, she kept respectful distance to Su-Metal and Moametal all the time, but she hyped the crowd together with Moa and Su, and the crowd answered her. There was some discussion over the years, when the topic came to "should an Avenger become the third full member?". And there were people who said that Momo wouldn´t fit, that they don´t like the idea of her taking Yui´s spot, that Riho or Kano would fit better, yada yada. Even such ridiculous things like "she´s too fat!". Maybe these things worried her big time, we don´t know for sure. You could bet that they were well aware of this, all the time, and that they discussed that internally.
Personally, I was sure that she would take the third spot one day. You should know, I´m a Yuistan, for me, there is no other person on this planet being as Kawaii Metal as Yuimetal. She´s a legend, and rightfully so. But watching the performance of "Road of Resistance" at The Forum LA in 2019, I became a Momostan, too. It was so frikkin´ obvious, that Momo would be the ideal person to take Yui´s spot. There was a visible bond between her and the crowd, and you could see her contagious smile being mirrored by the crowd. A very special moment. From that moment on I awaited the announcement, that she will become full member. Maybe you will do a reaction to this performance of RoR one day, and see yourself.
With "BABYMETAL Begins - Clear Night" we saw a "new" BABYMETAL. They were so full of energy, joy, having fun, like we haven´t seen them in a long time. Heck, they even revived "Iine!", and it was so much fun to watch! 😄
Somebody once said in a comment "Momo clicked in like a missing piece of a puzzle we never knew was incomplete". So true!
For the "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" triple reaction you could do the MV,
    - Headbanger (Legend 1997)(2013) Eng Subs
(from "For The Fox God", you should stop at 5:46, because there are several seconds of crowd cheers at the end, but the song ended long before the video ends), and
    - BABYMETAL - 「ヘドバンギャー!!」 [Head Banger!!] Live at Makuhari 2023 [字幕 / Subtitled] [HQ]
which has its lengths, because they had to integrate a rather loooong, moving stage into the song. But it has some crowd participation to compensate you with 😉
After some other songs you could do a triple reaction to Headbanger sung by Yuimetal (only fancam available, but there´s an enhanced version which is pretty okay), Moametal, and Momometal.
P.S.: please excuse the Wall Of Text, and certain grammar mistakes. English isn´t my mother tongue 😉

You're definitely doing it a really cool way by reacting to the timeline of sorts! It's wild to me the stage presence they had as kids, though I became a fan late 2022, I went through all their stuff and sort of got to experience their career up to now retro style.
I have to elaborate a bit more on my Dallas show last year! So my wife is amazing and made me a pair of the iridescent shoulder armor they currently wear. We were VERY close to the stage and Moa noticed and laughed and gave us a wave. They truly know how to make the fans feel special! And yeah the amount of relentless infectious energy they give out every single time, even now in their mid 20s, is absolutely insane!
You'll notice there's always catchy choruses, crowd chants and choreo meant for the crowd to copy. They're built to make the fans part of the show, which is just so fun!
They've said in interviews recently they really play off the crowds energy. They have to match and beat the crowds energy like a game haha.
And yep being cute was a big part of what the founding idea was. They even use purposeful younger cutsey voices now when they perform their oldest songs.
It's so unique and insane and awesome haha!

    • @Psyggie
      @Psyggie 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

Also, getting right at the stage is only possible in the smaller venue shows. Dallas was standing only 4000 sold out. Bad thing was we were crushed like sardines haha. They call for walls of death and mosh pits a lot. We had to edge over to the side. You pay a pretty penny for up close though, and it's recommended to get to the venue 12 hours before showtime. Yep the fans are insane haha
Oh outfits! Yeah their outfits have almost always included some sort of armor. Their lore involves them being warriors of sorts, battling to save metal. So cool and fun!

She isn't as insane about it though, and has a lot of sensory troubles like fibromialgia so the concert in Dallas with the crush really didn't do well for her. Next time she said seats only haha. But being close and getting to watch the entirety of the choreo is so mezmerizing! The video edits of their big shows always have too many edits and cuts to see the full choreo. Good marketing haha wanna see the whole thing? Gotta go live 😁

Great great reaction and thanks for listening to us. Indeed BABYMETAL is always more impressive live, not for nothing they have been awarded several times for best live performances. However, some of their MV's are iconic and deserve a look, like Karate, Doki Doki Morning, IIne. No matter MV or live, their visuals and general level of production is always impeccable.
About Headbanger, another one of their essential songs, my personal favorite is still the Legend 1997 one, but everybody has their own favorite. I personally like this 2-3 videos reaction format (and I'm sure BM fans don't mind watching the same song three times in a row), so if you want to keep it, my suggestion would be "Headbanger Legend 1997", and then "Headbanger Moabanger ver." and "Headbanger (Momoko ver.) Legend MM 2024 Live" The last two have really touching moments and you can see Moa and Momo lead singing, which is not an usual treat.
But if you think is better for your channel to make separate videos for every song, we are going to watch them anyway! 🤘
About other groups, I'd like to add Nemophila, a very good metal band of talented Japanese girls. They just released few days ago a badass version of "Jingle Bells Rock" really worth the watch. Plus they are big fans of Babymetal and have made a great cover of Megitsune.
Looking forward to your next videos, thanks again and keep your kitsune up! 🤘🦊

Hell yeah dude, amazing reaction! This tops the night more than my Ravens crushing the Texans 31 - 2 🤣. Really cool that you did this format and got to experience this absolute classic across the past decade. Also, don't worry about "how long" your reaction videos are. We fans are always happy to see Babymetal reactions. You've done a great job and been entertaining, so keep it up!
*Fun facts:* Megitsune is the song performed the most by Babymetal, ~380+ times to date. It is also a difficult song for Su to sing vocally, and she often uses this as her sound check/warm-up.
*Song:* The lyrics are powerful and deep - "Megitsune" (Female Fox) can be a traditionally derogatory term labeling women as "deceptive". Girls have always been actresses, "smiling at face, crying at heart" to live up to society's double standard. Babymetal empowers girls to be themselves, as the "gentle Japanese flower", "the Ideal Woman" (choreography to put on makeup) is changing with the march of time. "Women's fate is to blossom", then fade, but they will never disappear, so "shoot up your fireworks". "Maidens... Are not to be underestimated" [[ Pulls out microphone knife ]].
*On the performances:* You guessed correctly, 1997 is Su-metal's birth year. Legend 1997 is her 16th birthday show in Dec 2013. Megitsune was released earlier that year. Pia Arena MM was the 2-day show "Babymetal Begins - The Other One", in Apr 2023. "Black Knight" was day 1 (this performance), and Momometal was announced as the official 3rd at the end of "Black Night". The following day is "Clear Night", Day 2, with Momo donning a mic (just like Moa), and an outfit change to the translucent bits, along with The Kami Band changing outfits as well.
*For Headbanger:* If you want to do a long-form like Megitsune, here are the "must-see".
    _Official MV:_ Released 2013
_Legend 1997:_ The "classic" live version.
_Moabanger:_ Moa takes lead for her 20th birthday special - Legend M, 2019. Beware, heavy copyright issues with this one, so logo/pause often, etc.
_Momobanger:_ Momo takes lead for her 21st birthday special - Legend MM, 2024. Some copyright issues with this one too.
Format suggestion: You may want to just split the reaction into 4 parts, so if 1 video gets hit, it won't ruin the rest, but up to you how you wanna do it!
    🤘🦊🎄

Awesome reaction. Don't mind the length. Watching an older live and a new one is a good way to see their evolution. Starting with the music video will work well in some cases (ex: Headbanger, Karate, Iine, Doki Doki Morning, Ijime Dame Zettai), not as well in others (ex: Distortion, Starlight, PA PA YA , Shanti Shanti Shanti). Some songs don't have a music video and some have a music video that is just live concert footage overlayed with studio audio, in which case you're better off skipping it for a fully live performance.
When you do Akatsuki, you've been getting a lot of requests for 2021 Budokan. I recommend also watching 2014 Budokan first to see 16-year-old Su perform the song as well as to see the guitar solos that aren't on screen in the 2021 recording. Follow those up with Akatsuki Unfinished (a piano version) from Legend 1997.
For Headbanger watch a regular performance of the song first. The one from Legend 1997 has been a go-to for reactions. Then I recommend watching Headbanger (dubbed Moabanger by fans) from Legend - M (Moa's 20th birthday concerts in 2019) followed by Momobanger at Legend - MM (2024). With Legend 1997 you'll get to see them perform the song young with Yui and with the other two you'll see Su, Moa, and Momo singing lead as adults.
[Side note: Momo was a support dancer in 2019, but was not one of the support dancers at Legend - M.]
For Meta Taro, I recommend watching a performance from Wembley or Tokyo Dome in 2016 before watching the special MomoTaro version at Legend - MM.

Small correction: The video of the PIA Arena performance is from the first night, during which Momo was still an "Avenger". Only at the end of the show she was announced as an official member. How can we tell? During this perfomance Momo did not have a mic, as the "Avengers" were dancers but not singers during their time with Babymetal.
Question: Black Night / Clear Night
These big productions in Japan are almost all at least 2 night shows. Each night with a different song set (though some songs are played both nights). Also they tell a story, which not only spans over the nights but through all these big performances.
    Question: Crowd Interaction
Crowd interaction is the most important part at Babymetal Live shows; only with the fans, Babymetal is complete and we all form "The One" (the Girls, Band, Production, Stage team and the Fans). This the producer Kobametal put high on his list, when he formed/created Babymetal:
    - Formed around Su-Metal because of her vocal strength and commanding stage present
    - But additonally being flanked by "Energyzer Bunnies", who sing, dance (interpret the song through their choreo), but most importantly interact with the crowd, giving queues and encouragement
    Where to go next?
You already have some song suggestion lined up, but I second one notion put forward already, to look at the guide to Babymetal.
For now I would recommend to do the shorter version from channel "Omajination", which gives you the basics and does not go too deep into the lore. The lore is deep and can be a bit distracting in the beginning. But this is not to say to never look it up.
Have fun and happiness falling deeper into the Foxhole.

The Fox Spirit of the Japanese Shinto religion is a messenger for the major deity Inari and is a shape shifter considered to be deceiving and clever. The lyrics say that women are like female foxes and while they are actors (for self preservation) they are not deceiving.

This interaction with the audience is thaks to Moa and Momo. They always train parts of their audience. And no, every year in spring they have some cincrts and this is normaly their time for a costume change. But nowadays they normaly maintain their normal dress, and only the higher layer is replaced.

First of all, the double/triple reactions are a cool idea, you get to compare how different the eras are. Hard to believe these ladies have been doing this for like 14 years and still so young right?! Again I do recommend you watch that Guide video from A Fox Song, it will help you a bunch understanding their history and lore, trust me we will enjoy watching you watch it. I still would suggest Karate, another double or triple reaction to that. The MV is really good and the Budokan 2021 version is on For the Fox God channel I think. Being you choose a video from Legend 1997, I have to give you heads up, whenever you react to Babymetal Death you MUST watch the Legend 1997 version, it will blow you mind. Cya next time!
EDIT: I had to add I love your dog chilling in the background LOL! The PIA shows were 2 nights, Black Night and Clear Night. Black Night was before Momo was announced as the full 3rd member, Clear Night was Momo's first official performance as a member of BM. Both nights were very emotional for the girls and the fans, a long time coming for Momo and her hard dedicated work with BM. Remember I said BM was meant for seeing live? Most of their songs are made with many fan interaction involvement through, chants, call backs, cheers, and lots of movement. I finally saw them live in the US this past November with my wife, unforgettable sir, can't wait until next time.
One Last EDIT: If you do Headbanger, there are 5 versions, yeah I know that's alot: The music video, the original live versions mostly done by Su of course. Now Yui, Moa, and Momo all have versions called Yuibanger, Moabanger, and Momobanger, each one celebrating a birthday milestone where they sing half of the song as lead. All are amazing of course, unfortunately Yui's version isn't a high quality recording. Maybe do a double reaction with the MV and a Su version. Then a triple reaction with Yui, Moa, then Momo.....Momo's is wild dude, wait and see, hehe.

    1. Headbanger MV

    3. Headbanger Yuimetal version

Su indeed said that this is one of the hardest songs for her to sing.
Here‘s a little suggestion in case you keep the three song format: Perhaps it would be interesting if you actually did take a look at the lyrics before the third one. Maybe it would give you somewhat of a different angle, allowing you to evaluate e.g. how the choreography integrates with the lyrics. But it may interrupt your flow while recording.

Well seems our favorite part of this song is the same place. Just hits when the instrumentals just cut out. If you haven't recorded yet, for Headbanger, start with Legend 1997. abr metal has a good version titled Legend of 1997, followed by Moabanger and then Momometal version. There are some of Yui however, they are all fancam videos on her version. I would also suggest you check out Electric Callboy, they have collaborated with Babymetal, actually what got me into listening to Babymetal. They put out their collab and been listening ever since. Also managed to catch them in Cincinnati last month where I drove 4 hours to go see them. If they come back to the US next year, you'll want to get in on the pre-sale as otherwise you may not be able to see them, or you'll be paying an arm and a leg to do so. I believe all but one or two shows on this past US tour were sold out and two stops even added a second date which also sold out.
For Electric Callboy, I would recommend checking out either Hypa Hypa or We Got the Moves.

Oh! I have an idea. But if you dont wantxto its of course ok! You need to figure out how you want to do reactions, not us randos 😂
Anyway my idea is, to help from being overwhelmed during first time reactions is to look up translations of the lyrics beforehand. @kevinhiggins7547 We have to break the first few years of Babymetal accordingly. They had already their own Stage handle, long before they had the official support of Amuse. They already had to work with their own money even if for this money Su and Yui and Moa had to open department stores and malls.
But they had to prove to Amuse that they had an potentially profitable idea and a chance to make money.
We have to differentiate between Sakura Gakuin and Amuse.

Another Element this was at that time their biggest concert with 1.500 people. For three songs they had a real live Band on stage with them. A total difference, a few years later thy played Budokan for multiple nights in a row or the Tokyo Dome (55.000 places) for two nights. In a row. Well, they had a number of haters, till one sick new World Concert in the US. In Europe this problem was never an issue. We know Fusion Metal as a normal subgenre of Metal.
This was for some time one of their biggest Videos. In fact Michiko was not new for Babymetal, she was already a part of Sakura Gakuin and she also helped in their Choreo for the Hard Music Club (the Name of Babymetal while they were a part of Sakura Gakuin.)
Correct this was Yui, the perfect Dance Robot. At that time no one connected Moa with dancing, she often had crucial Timing problems. But Michiko already knew that they would vanish when she grew up. And as Su and Moa often remember they grew up after Yui left. They had the advantage to look after them when they were small and then Su and Moa acknowledged that their Partner already reacted when it was necessary. They were able to trust in their Partner. And we see how simple their Choreo was at that time. And it was already a very feministic song. An Element that they slowly grasp again. On one hand your idea of a fight song is totally wrong and right. On one hand the japanese culture is extremly critical about women. In fact surprising if you consider that they developed special weapons for women. This is in fact a song of the whole female rights Organisation they were extremly uncertain at that time what they might do in the future. But nearly everytime a young girl from a bad background is Interviewer they all know the Fox Sign. And in fact they still get remembered nowadays that there Futures were untertan for a very long time. You must not forget Suzuka was a professional photomodel for diapers when she was three. Moa jobbed as a photomodel too. It was totally confusing for them to suddenly have a Manager who didn't knew what uniforms he wanted for them till his female assistants took the girls and took care of the problem.
For them this song was personal. And they saw it as Kobas Gift. They had a kind of Sister Group that was Manager by Michiko and Perfume was totally shocked when they realized that all three members of Babymetal called their Manager Daddy. Exact, she pulled an Assassine knife out of her microphone and cited a famous movie "Maidens can be deadly". But such jokes are not very funny for most venues. So this does not happen in this Form in live concerts.
