It would be really good to demonstrate wrapping a leg that has lymphedema in all the various stages. It's easy to wrap a leg that doesn't have lymphedema. We who suffer with it and are in later stages need real help.

4 years now with chronic leg ulcer also lymphoma, stage 3 kidney disease, my quality of life is zero at 50 years old and was extremely fit by walking with 3 springer spaniel dogs and now with leg ulcer i can't do anything

I use an abdominal binder to wrap my leg. Works wonderfully. My lymphedema has decreased by more than 75%. So much easier to wrap with an abdominal binder on the leg instead of all of this.

I like using Tubagrip too but NO Coban. I use an ace wrap.

I have lymphedema, is wrapping any better or worse than just wearing compression hose? Seems like so much more work?

Usually lymphedema wraps are done initially to bring swelling down significantly. And is usually short term compression plan. After this then there is a long term compression stockings... TEDS, tubi grips or ready wraps...

I was told to take compression stocking off at night & pull stocking on in the morning. Is this what you would have to do with this wrap? Seems
like a lot of trouble wrapping then unwrapping. Does this wrapping stay on for a long period of time?

When I had this done at a hospital, it was kept on for three days and then rewrapped. This went on for a month and I had fantastic results. It was done by an Occupational Therapist. With compression stockings, don't seep with them on. After a month I went with Farrow Wraps first thing in the morning and all day long. You can wrap most parts of your body depending on your issue. Search TH-cam for more info and would strongly suggest spending a lot of time researching. None of these options are a one time purchase and will require reordering a few times a year. The Farrow Wrap version of what is in this video cost about $175 for both legs and feet. Knee and thigh $200 each.

You can find them in many sources by doing a Google search for lymphedema wrapping. For a kit that comes with 2 sets of wraps so you can rotate daily use, you're looking at about $175-200

En France on les trouve en pharmacie , cela s’appelle Urgo2 : deux bandes souples, l’une très douce dans une matière assez cotonneuse et l’autre bande rose est faite d’un tissu élastique rose que l’applique sur la bande blanche et qui viennent parfaitement se scratcher dessus. Une infirmière vient me les poser et je les garde 3 jours et nuit en attendant la suivante. J’ai donc trois infirmières par semaine.

sometimes compression does not work quickly and slow so bandages are tried for some swelling and to reshape the legs

I'm sure its not the same for everyone..I have idiopathic lymphedema in both legs and I bandage only to the knee. But thats just my experience.
