The RE4 HD mod is actually bonkers. The guys behind it literally went to Spain and photographed the same references and locations as the original devs.
I remember this stream. Wished id played Resident Evil 4 when it released. I actually have an interesting story about this game. Back when Resident Evil 4 first came out, me and my college roommates, suitemates, were all way too into Mario Kart DS to really care. I didn't even think Resident Evil 4 was on my radar in 2005. My college suitemates would sneak into my room while I wasn't there and play Mario Kart DS without my permission, on my Nintendo DS, but more importantly, they would look at my DVD collection. I had like 215 DVDs in alphabetical order and they would play a cruel joke where they would move two random titles in different places and see how long it would take me to notice. Yeah, I know that says a lot more about me then it does about them, but I could tell every time that was the joke. I would just scan briefly over my DVDs everyday and see if they had taken one was usually the issue wasn't-I wasn't checking to see if they put them out of order, I was checking because they would turn up MISSING. And then I would track them down and find someone across the hallway who borrowed one without asking and what do you know! The DVD is missing from inside of its jewel case! Where did it go? No one knows. Oh I found it, it's in two pieces now. No, I'm not still angry about that.
This reads exactly like a jerma story. Passive statement, turns into seemingly interesting backstory, then slowly dwindles into something completely off topic, until we don't even remember what we were supposed to be talking about. All that's missing is passive aggressive chat insults, arguing about facecam for 10 minutes, then dying like twice within those 10 minutes.
To echo the sentiments of some comments here, I had no idea he played RE4- I wonder if it got outshined by the wonderful disaster that was the coop RE8 stream
Is this actually the RE4 HD project? The visuals don't look like that mod upgrade, it just looks like the standard game... Edit: Maybe it's like an old version? A lot of textures and features in the final mod release are just flat out missing in this playthrough, idk how that'd happen though
