Dear Sir, is it true that if one wants to plays only the songs which don't need use of slider (as in this song) then tremolo harmonica is the best choice (means, it sounds more melodious than chromatic)?

I am finding it difficult to remember the sargam notes from the exercises prescribed. Please suggest me some method to remember the notations. I am familiar with western notations when I play the harmonica but not with sargam.
