I saw amit kumar performing on stage in the 1980's when he was on tour with his father.I remembered how much stage command he had and his extreme talent on stage at such a young age.After that i never saw him again.This is beautiful and amazing!!Plz go on tour again..luv this presentation!!!

Excellent background information about how 'Roop Tera Mastana ' was created since Amit was very much there when the song was created. It is based on Sachinda's original Bengali song and not composed by R.D.Burman.
Surely the song must have been composed by SD Burman only.But RD's role cant be ignored,being Associate MD(as mentioned in the titles of the film).No one has yet been able to find the song mentioned by Amitkumar.(Shashurbadi something).And contribution of Kishoreda,as much as claimed,is debatable.SD Burman was very much moving with time,more than anyone else,and couldn't be in that much folk mould at all.

Surely the song must have been composed by SD Burman only.But RD's role cant be ignored,being Associate MD(as mentioned in the titles of the film).No one has yet been able to find the song mentioned by Amitkumar.(Shashurbadi something).And contribution of Kishoreda,as much as claimed,is debatable.SD Burman was very much moving with time,more than anyone else,and couldn't be in that much folk mould at all.
