Thailand is definitely one of my favourite places too. I love Koh Phi Phi and Maya Bay, Bangkok was good, Koh Tao is a good place to go, loved West Railey Beach/Phra Nang Beach, and Koh Samui was Ok. I did like Koh Lanta but my favourite Thai island has to be Koh Lipe. But I have never visited Chiang Mai since I've visited Thailand 4 times now - I think that'll be on my bucket list for my next Thai trip. I'm not into parties at all but evening dinner is fine for me and then I hit the bed around 9pm before all the party revellers take over LOL

love this, i somehow did the pai to chiang mai route, only been on a moped once before and that was earlier on in the trip (do have a driving license mind) and was travelling through pouring rain and didn't need to refuel the tan either, happy days

I'd went to Thailand two years ago and it's such an amazing and beautiful country! We fell in love with it. But I must say, too bad you didn't put Phang Nga Bay in your top 10, because it is so stunning! In a few months we are going to Bali, and I must say, I never was the type to do the whole backpack thing... But Asia changed my mind. Unfortunately we are going for a short vacation to Bali but we are all ready talking about saving up and traveling for a few months to Asia in the near future....

Yo... if you love Thailand so much why not actually live life and move there. Why always do the regular/normal thing that people expect. Just go out and do what you love (seems like you love this place a lot, so HONESTLY what's holding you back?)
Haha because u cant :D I wanted to move there too, but the longest time u can stay there without any permission is 21 days. If you fill out some formulars and do some paperwork, the logest possible time to stay there was 180 Days as far as I could reckon. But u arent alowed to work there so u have to make a passive income in another country so survive. The only way to live and work there is to marry a native. And since he has Laura as his GF this could be a littl bit of a problem :D The same goes for the philipines btw. :)
isnt he making a passive income through youtube? Keep the canadian bank account and show Thai authorities how the young money cash money keeps coming in? I know a youtuber/streamer who moved to phuket, has been living there for 2 years now i think

Elephant Sanctuaries where you bath them are not much better. Still a lot of stress for the elephants being surrounded so close by so many humans.
