So finally a video from Hohem that explains how to do the Vortex mode on THE VERSION of Hohem iSteady Mobile+ that was delivered to me. My version doesn't have a USB C nor does it have the mode lights / settings down a vertical line. My version has a Micro USB and the mode is shown by the number of blinks the green light to the right corner of the joystick. To do the Vortex, you have to keep holding the joystick to left or right after pressing the mode button four times. Just pressing the mode button 4 times doesn't move the gimbal. You have to rotate the gimbal by moving the joy stick left to right. The 600 degrees come from the fact that the gimbal moves a little bit over 1.5 times around it's pan axis. I plan to do my first TH-cam video on this subject. It's pathetic that Hohem have issued multiple variations of it's gimbal to the market without explanation and got content creators to sing it's praises to fool the public. There is not even a correction about this on their web site. I should have paid a bit more and got a Zhiyun or DJI or even Feiyutech.

Nice video, but the demonstration of the features is rushed. The app icons are difficult to read and some of the features don't work with Android, ie focus
The T & W as well as the landscape and macro icons in the app are reversed from where they should be in their slider indicators. The T (Telephoto) should be where the W (Wide angle) is, and vice versa. Same for the Landscape (Mountain) icon is located where the Flower (Macro) icon is and vice versa. This, as well as how often the app crashed on my iPhone 11 Pro (with fully updated iOS) bugs the heck out of me. Please fix the app issues!
The bluetooth won't connect via the app and when it is connected via the phone's bluetooth settings, the blue light does not come on and none of the buttons respond. PS: I use a oneplus 6 smartphone.
The app is always stopping during filming and I missed a lot of videos because of that and I just use the actual phone camera instead of the app. When filming because I can’t trust it to not shut down. I had the iPhone 12mini now I have the 14 pro and it’s still not working properly so I’m might look for another gimbal

If I have a question about using the hohem BM01 mic with the Hohem Gimbal App can I ask you? The problem the mic is supposed to work with both hohem pro (mic app) and hohem gimbal and when using it in hohem gimbal app it will not work unless my phone mic is turned on which then causes an echo due to both mics are recording. It works great in Hohem Pro but I can't use the Gimbals zoom abilities. Anyways - How do we fix this mic issue?

PROJUSTICIA I think there is a place to turn on modes that will snap the picture when something happens. Like “smile mode” takes a photo when smile is detected or I maybe you can set a photo timer. I only use this for video, so Im not very familiar with the photo tools.
Only issue I've had with mine (using Android) is that every time I connect/use my gimbal, my phone loses connection to my smartwatch. Only way to get that connected again to get notifications is to reboot my phone when I'm finished using the gimbal.
Been trying to ACESS MOTION TIME LAPSE OPTION yet this video completely SKIPPED to the menu setting up the time lapse not showing HOW THEY GOT THERE! 🤯
Hi not sure if youve figured it out yet but theres 2 time lapse options one is static the other tracking ,with the tracking you point at your start location and press the plus sign .You then goto the location you want to go to and so on pressing the plus sign each time before you move to the the next location .Once you have that setup the timer and shutter settings come up once you press next .I had to make about 4 location saves during testing it out .Going to get up early tomorrow morning and see if i can get morning sunrise time lapse .

@@videoprocanarias7746 Not sure about photo shooting with face tracking but it works whilst filming ,the time lapse i think you can stop it manually but i just left mine to shoot over 2hrs to test it .Ive done the panoramic shot and that seems to work fine as well ,that was using a samsung 9s +
All the features look really cool, but this is a terrible tutorial video. It would be so appreciated if someone was walking you step-by-step with actual vocals to show you how to use this great product. It’s kind of dumb that I have to go to different channels to get an actual tutorial. With no overly dramatic music.

No 8k Support No 4k 60fps support No 4k 24FPS No 4k 25fps same for all 1080p resolutions When select kamera modi (Standard, slowmo) the app starts to record. why? thats shit Lots of artefacts with the hohem app recorded videos.

I just received my order and I may st say I'm impressed. Some features don't work with Android like focus but other than that I'm pleased .

iPhone 12 pro max is too heavy and can’t balance - also when I click panoramic, it just does the motion but doesn’t take the picture or video.

Can you use the device without using the app? I've read hundreds of negative reviews on the app.
It's not ture, most of people download the incorrect app. and It's able to connect your phone native camera to use the gimbal.

I think somethings wrong with mine, it doesn't face track and contently moves itself to looking straight up.
Some features only work in the app. Make sure it balanced.

The face tracking works pretty well, but I can't figure out the object tracking... how does it work?

Once you click the tracking button then you can draw a square around the object youd like to track
