I still own the vinyl copy I got for Christmas (thank you Santa) and it still has the freebies that came with the album. It had two posters and two stickers. I am missing one sticker. I wouldn't really understand the album until I had more life experiences and the warnings were a little late in revealing themselves. This is probably one of the wisest albums ever made. I heard that it is about the stress of being part of a popular band but the songs can be applicable to us average people as well. We struggle with similar issues (money,time, madness, etc.), albeit in a different way.
The SACD of the album would get you the 5.1 mix of the album, however that is very expensive. If you have a record player perhaps you could buy a copy of the German quad version and try to decode that using your PC. That should give you something close to this 5.1 mix.

the cd has two layers one for Super audio surround and one for your regular stereo. but I do take my hat off to Jacob because you cannot just rip it and then have it have the same effect in your earphones however kudos to him,because my CD is in another state right now. "WISH IT WERE HERE." and i needed my Floyd FIX! Dark side came out the day I was born and i heard it for the first time when i was 13 I looked down at the publishing date and tears flowed out... Been A hardcore fan ever since. :)
