I would highly recommend getting a bigger tank, for both of them. An oscar needs at least 55 gallons from what ive read and a Flowerhorn needs 77 gallons. That may be why your fish are hiding. They need a big tank. And separating the pond is an even worse decision. Temperature wise. Its not the best choice to have these two fish together because a oscar needs a temp of 74-81 Fahrenheit and a Flowerhorn needs 80-85 ferenheit. You could settle at 80-81 but I feel like that would get a bit problematic. Either way, you need a bigger tank (probably best to separate them.) (Keep in mind, even if its a baby. It will get bigger and a undersized tank may kill the fish by stress and disease.)
I need help. one of my fish is very stressed. It darts around the tank very violently, however, the other tank mates seem not bothered. So I have ruled out water quality because the other fish is not affected. Any movement around the tank and it darts like crazy, however I've never really seen my other fish attack the stressed one, even during feeding times. Do you know whats going on? (Its also never done this before) -Thanks.
@@BlueAquaticss they were all added together at the same time. I'm starting to think they are outgrowing their tank so we are looking into getting a fish pond.

Yes its a very big problem..dark colored background is never recommended.. Also we have to show mirror just for 15 minutes in a day..so either change your tank or change the base..
I just go from the touch of my hand ….I keep a thermometer in the tank at about 78°f and I touch the tank water then my tap water to make sure they’re about the same temp it’s ok to have changes in water up to 2 °f but anymore or less can cause them to go into shock

Pond will be a good choice..but might be possible your fish is in stress

Set the heater to 28 ℃ and add stress heal medicine..
Turn on the lights for atleast 8 hours in day time..will recover in 3-4 days

Do small water changes..this will not create any problem to the fish..
