I really love Trunks as a character. Vegeta and Goku(and sometimes even Gohan) let their opponents fool around and get stronger. Trunks is a no nonsense man. He gets the job done quickly and keeps on moving. And we see why. His timeline only has destruction so he doesn't goof around with his opponents
The reason Buu appeared when he did in the original timeline is because Babidi was able to gather energy a lot faster. At the moment, this is just the androids.
indeed, he needed 3 whole super saiyan 2s present to fully charge majin buu, and these androids were weaker than the ones in the main timeline, there really was no way to get that much energy as quickly as it did in the main timeline
Without goku they never had a chance but there was a way to bring everyone back that the toei staff just happened to forget to even try to explain....getting to new namek..king kai can easily ask them to help us out and bring everyone back besides goku....like gohan...blooma can make a ship to get there if she can make a time machine...hell they never go in the time chamber either....
Been waiting for this, the DLC is incredible and really explains Trunk’s story in depth 🔥 also I recommend you watch Battle of Gods and Ressurection F before you start Super, they’re two movies that Super adapts but with a lower budget.

Whenever you get a chance, there are 2 dbz specials you should totally watch, there’s The history of Trunks which this dlc is based off of and the other one is about Goku’s father, which I really hope we get a dlc for that some day.

Jack i recommend watching the battle of gods and resurrection F movies instead of the anime they're way better animated and dont have unnecessary filler, after that you can jump to episode 28 of the anime or around there to start the new arc

The androids didn’t weren’t more powerful in this timeline.. it’s that the z fighters were weaker because they didn’t have a heads up about the androids and thus didn’t train.. plus Goku was the primary factor for them wanting to get stronger and he died
Its never really explained but Trunks gets the sword from Tapion, the events of the "Wrath of the Dragon" movie probably happens in a similar way but probably ending with trunks mercy killing Tapion to stop Hirudegarn.

Then the bit where Tapion asks Trunks to kill him with the sword, in this world with so little hope he probably does.

Gohan is my fav from DBZ back when it aired (well re-run) on TV. I really wanted Gohan to be like future Gohan. It came to me as a surprise that bad manga adaptation to anima was the reason Gohan is even more mascaraed in Dragon Ball Super.
Not necessarily all I wanted gohan to be but very similar, I want gohan to realise his potential and the responsibility he has to protect his loved ones as he does have the most potential out of any character. Like it’s his duty to become even stronger than his father because he has that in his locker and he needs that power to protect his family. Kind of like “with great power comes great responsibility”

I dont think they actually show how Trunks got his sword, neither in the manga nor the anime but in a seperate movie all along which must have happened similarly to the future timeline cause we only see how present trunks gets it as a kid. But weird enough he got it from a guy trapped within a music box who could transform into half a demon that rejoins with his other half thats causing havoc and he is the only one that can seal it away while playing his ocarina. Jack here's some advice; Once you've reached the Universe 6 Fight Arc, you're safe to start playing the DBS DLC's, that's all they cover. (It's really not that much of Super)

Dende wouldn't be dead because Goku never went to Namek to look for a new Guardian of Earth after Kami and Piccolo rejoined. This is my issue with this arc; It has numerous things Trunks and Gohan *could've* done to save the future. Like having Bulma build a new ship for them to go to New Namek to use the Dragonballs there to wish at least Vegeta and Piccolo back. I don't think Goku could be wished back as he had died to natural causes.

Everyone's dead means less food, not more. Bulma survives with broken supply lines because she can more or less science matter into existence. There's probably a whole indoor farm inside a capsule in an underground bunker.
The origin of trunks getting a sword was never really explained. There is some reference in the movie Wrath of the dragon but it isn't Canon and its in the maintimeline not the future
Think about it like this. The Androids in this timeline are the same level of bad. The key difference is their prime directive not being there, killing Goku. Since Goku wasn't around for them to have a goal, they turned to destruction to pass the time by. Since Goku wasn't around, Piccolo felt more compelled to be a father figure to protect Gohan, resulting in him dying and the Dragon Balls becoming inert. Everyone says Goku attracts the bad guys but everything goes to further crap when he isn't there
No it’s not. There’s no ssj3, No ultimate Gohan, goten or hirudegarn in the future. Wrath of the dragon literally takes place after Buu in that movie verse so how could future trunks have gotten it from tapion?

That literally makes no sense, he just uses a random sword. There’s no way trunks would’ve found the music box, or even be able to open it. Plus tapion wasn’t even created when future trunks was first a thing.
The reason future trunks timeline is so sad because he literally has no dragon balls to wish everyone back. And also in this timeline they don't know where new namek is so they can't even wish everyone who died back...truly a sad story tbh this is why he is the best character in db. (IMO)

After traveling to the past and saving that timeline from the Androids, Trunks is killed by Cell after refueling his time machine to tell everyone he beat the Androids 2nd Timeline- Same as the main timeline except they beat the Androids using the remote control device or any method that doesn't involve the RoSaT because Trunks was weaker than Cell and likely didn't train. 3rd Timeline- This one where Trunks kills the Androids, Cell, and Dabura and Babidi Main Timeline- The one where Gohan kills Cell

For a lot of fans, Future Gohan is their personal favourite gohan, me included, he’s just what all of us want gohan to be.

The origin of trunks getting a sword was never really explained. There is some reference in the movie Wrath of the dragon but it isn't Canon and its in the maintimeline not the future

Think about it like this. The Androids in this timeline are the same level of bad.
The key difference is their prime directive not being there, killing Goku. Since Goku wasn't around for them to have a goal, they turned to destruction to pass the time by. Since Goku wasn't around, Piccolo felt more compelled to be a father figure to protect Gohan, resulting in him dying and the Dragon Balls becoming inert. Everyone says Goku attracts the bad guys but everything goes to further crap when he isn't there

No it’s not. There’s no ssj3, No ultimate Gohan, goten or hirudegarn in the future. Wrath of the dragon literally takes place after Buu in that movie verse so how could future trunks have gotten it from tapion?

The reason future trunks timeline is so sad because he literally has no dragon balls to wish everyone back. And also in this timeline they don't know where new namek is so they can't even wish everyone who died back...truly a sad story tbh this is why he is the best character in db. (IMO)

nope. we are literally following an alternate reality from an alternate time. hence why destroying the androids from the main time line db-dbz-dbs. did not erase they're existence from future trunks timeline.
This is actually the third timeline. The original timeline is the one where Trunks gets killed by Cell

Original Timeline- Everything up to History of Trunks happens as normal. After traveling to the past and saving that timeline from the Androids, Trunks is killed by Cell after refueling his time machine to tell everyone he beat the Androids
2nd Timeline- Same as the main timeline except they beat the Androids using the remote control device or any method that doesn't involve the RoSaT because Trunks was weaker than Cell and likely didn't train.
3rd Timeline- This one where Trunks kills the Androids, Cell, and Dabura and Babidi
Main Timeline- The one where Gohan kills Cell
