I love how Jack was panicking at the Z-sword being broke when having it broke is actually the best outcome. Like, he values a really heavy, plain ass sword over a godlike boost from an old man dancing around like he let out a chocolate avalanche in his pants.
It makes you wonder if he played Kakarot. Like, did he forget that breaking the sword frees Elder Kai and gives Gohan a massive power boost? Why was he panicking?

My guess is that 1: this is his first time 2: taking a break from each video 3: Doing other things that can distract his memories during those break Focusing one at a time makes it easier to remember afterall, on top of that taking break means he have that much more chance to forget too, but he kinda have to for TH-cam so can't help it. Lol 😂

I have a similar problem where my friend convinced me to play halo MCC a while ago but I have trouble remembering what scene was in what game because I played them right after each other.
He forgets goku throwing it so hard is what broke the sword in the series...the game skipped that part...its not that te sword was weak it was that goku is op and the sword is weaker due to the old man in it
Not sure if this counts as a spoiler, but I’ll put a warning just in case The show never went into much detail about how Future Trunks dealt with Buu aside from a short flashback in Super, so it’s cool that the game does
both the anime and manga showed a flashback of future trunks vs babidi and dabura, but the manga had more scenes to it, and this game seems to directly adapt from the manga, as some of the panels are directly referenced here, such as the katchin scene followed by kibito noticing babidi
Actually the Cell saga does tie in to the Majin Buu Saga. The reason why babidi comes to Earth is because he felt a strong power that was strong enough to open Majin Buus sealed ball. This power was Gohan’s super sayin 2 and in this timeline it is Trunk’s super sayin against Cell
It's really cool that the dlc does this part of the trunks timelines, we only know about this in the super manga when trunks mentioned it and the manga showed a couple of panels of it.
BTW the whole dogs being like Human thing started a looong time ago Someone used the dragon balls to make it so that their dog can talk, somethings happened and later that dog then used the dragon balls a couple years later to make it so all dogs and talk and walk like humans so they can live together more like friends Because of which another few years later another dog (or the same dog) used the dragon balls and wished to be the King of all That's why the King is a Dog

you were actually right on your gohan being the main character train of thought, in many people's opinions, dragon ball z is a much better written story if gohan and vegeta are considered the main characters with the main struggles, and goku exists more as a plot device to defeat the villains that the main characters are not equipped to handle, as well as to progress the story, as most milestones in the story are based around their progression.

Although you're right that Trunk's Gohan wasn't. He was only a little stronger than Goku was on Namek. Trunk's Gohan never got anywhere NEAR as powerful as the main timeline Gohan did.

Goku and Vegeta's potential are theoretically equal but the reason Goku always ends up on top is because of his goals when training. Future Gohan himself didn't reach his full potential from the main timeline because he wasn't trying to surpass anyone, but protect others. Future Trunks went through the most out of any character, and he had goals to reach for a pure-hearted purpose. That made his potential the greatest of anyone.

I think I've heard the explanation for animal people in the Dragon Ball world was introduced precisely in this game, in a side mission. Before this, though, OG Dragon Ball leaned more closely towards wacky fantasy stuff, so the existence of animal people wasn't considered weird in any way. It was when the Z era started demystifying a lot of these things, especially around the Cell saga and information revealed long after the original story ended, that people now expected to get a semi-realistic answer as to why animal people are around in this universe.

The reason people are "beastmen" originally was because it was easier for the creator to draw different characters and the show was light-hearted enough to include them without explanation. However their appearances decreased in Dragon Ball Z because this show was suppose to be taken more seriously. To cover up the whole situation they included a side mission in Dragon Ball Kakarot during the cell arc where you help two beastmen return to humans, doing so you learn that they used an extra strong dose of "Animorphaline" which is the drug that turns people to beastmen that was popular when Bulma was about 10 years old but has since falled out of the trend. After talking to Android 16, he informs us that the red ribbon army sold inferior Animorphaline for funding, which would explain the higher dosages some people still have.

Just had to say, That Future Trunks' Timeline *is* the original timeline of DB. You learn more about it in Super so I won't say much but the Timeline with Buu and Goku going ssj3 is actually a seperate timeline meant to act like it's the original. Secondly it's not really shown in the game, but yes. SSJ2 teen Gohan, is stronger than the supreme kai's. His adult version of ssj2 was stronger than kibito, and that Gohan at the tournament (before buu/great Saiyaman) was weaker than when he faught Cell. Remember the androids in Trunks' timeline were,I'd say as strong as Imperfect Cell was right before he absorbed 17. So Future Gohan was, I'd say only stronger than Frieza, but weaker to Cell. Dabura was stated to be stronger than Cell and a rusty SSJ2 Gohan was still matching him. so it’s safe to say Buu Saga SSJ2 Gohan is still stronger than Cell, but not as strong as Cell Games SSJ2 Gohan.
I think because he has saiyan in him he technically can't get weaker but just out of practice. He probably just didn't get much stronger because there wasn't anyone around for him to compare to. I always wished Vegeta decided to train with him just to see how strong he could have gotten because the rivalry is what helps a saiyan gain more power with always wanting to get better than the other

Remember the androids in Trunks' timeline were,I'd say as strong as Imperfect Cell was right before he absorbed 17. So Future Gohan was, I'd say only stronger than Frieza, but weaker to Cell. While teen Gohan was far stronger than Cell. Hence why Trunks chose to fight SSJ2 Teen Gohan to train with.
Dabura was stated to be stronger than Cell and a rusty SSJ2 Gohan was still matching him. so it’s safe to say Buu Saga SSJ2 Gohan is still stronger than Cell, but not as strong as Cell Games SSJ2 Gohan.
I think because he has saiyan in him he technically can't get weaker but just out of practice. He probably just didn't get much stronger because there wasn't anyone around for him to compare to. I always wished Vegeta decided to train with him just to see how strong he could have gotten because the rivalry is what helps a saiyan gain more power with always wanting to get better than the other

gohan was actually supposed to be the MC in Z. but the fan base wanted goku and didn't realise it was supposed to be gohan. so even though he got some cool moments under the sun, he was never the true MC that unfortunately went to goku.

gohan was supposed to replace goku at the end of the cell saga but the fans hated the idea of goku just being gone so toriyama changed it up and now thats why we have a gohan that doesn't do shit.
