I changed the vents on my travel trailer earlier this year and am pretty familiar with so many of the lightly demonstrated headaches of the process! Great video Erik!

Thanks Keith!! The install was pretty tedious, but thankfully it came out looking great!

I've actually been debating making a video on my camera gear, so this is more likely to happen than you might think. 😅

like the videos I had a ford transit , really liked the seat install good detail. I would abbreviate the intro substantially, you can leave a longer explanation (your story) at the end maybe forge ahead!

Great tip on modifying the gasket/ seal for the fan to make it more accurately contour the roof shape. Did you use a Dremel bit with sanding drum to do this? Keep on with the great videos. Very helpful. Like the review with budget breakdown at the end.

I know the trend is two fans, but what if the second fan is really not needed? The Ford Transit 350 extended has 487.3 cu.ft. of cargo capacity behind the front driver and passenger seats. The maxxfan deluxe moves 900 Cubic Feet per minute (CFM). After you fill up the back of your van with counter top, refrigerator, bed, toilet, and storage you will have about half of the 487.3 cu. ft. remaining (243 cubic feet behind the front row seats). If you have enough window ventilation a single maxxfan deluxe should have no problem fully replacing that air every minute.

Hi Jeff! You make some fantastic arguments, and in theory you are totally correct. However, as I've been testing what seems to happen when only one fan is running is there is a direct path of airflow between the open window, and the fan exhausting air, but then the air feels fairly stagnant in all the surrounding areas of the van outside of that "wind tunnel". Adding a second fan that pulls air in the opposite direction as the first seems to help disrupt more of the stagnant air within the van, and honestly does create a noticeable difference within the van during in 105 degree Utah summers. Hope that helps, and thank you for taking the time to comment!

You used the wrong screws. The four short button head screws mount the fan.. the white ones are for the interior cover
