I can honestly say that my makeup application has changed since subscribing to your Chanel. I have started to purchase your make up recommendation based on skin type and I am so pleased with the results. You have the most beautiful presentation style and clear, succinct explanations of a true professional. I have thought for a while that you could be on television. I hope you get many more subscribers. Thank you.
Even if youtube is full of "how to" videos, this is by far the best I've come across, the clearest, the easiest and the best explained, so thank you! It has changed my way of approaching to coverage and to use of powder. At this point, I am eager to watch and listen your advices for wedding makeup. Could you please dedicate a video about your "how to" facing this diffucult topic? I'd be so happy to learn more..! Thank you and hugs from Italy :-)
Cheri, You and Wayne Goss are my favorite! Your channel will blow up. I hope you stay the same! Authentic and "just the facts". When you start getting all the PR, I hope you are like Wayne there as well--just humble! I have learned so much from you. Greetings from Chicago!
Thank you for your excellent and descriptive advise/ techniques that are based on EXPERIENCE as a professional !!!!!!! As I watch some of the videos of the younger and beautiful ladies, I’m shocked as to how much makeup they feel is needed to perfect their already, gorgeous skin!
I have dry mature skin. I’ve been debating to get the Gucci or the Koh Gen Do. I don’t need both. And I’m not a makeup artist. Actually I’m a disaster when it comes to makeup 😂. Your techniques are very helpful. Thank you ❤️
I can’t wear light coverage because I have a lot of dark spots on my checks (I’m working on it with my dermatologist) Plus, I need long wearing/transfer proof foundation with this mask 😷. But it looks beautiful on you. As I get older I know I’ll have to transition or make adjustments to my makeup
I LOOOOOVE videos like this so much! I would love a full face video like this where you apply all your base products as well as some cream contour and cream/liquid blush and highlight. You are such a fabulous teacher ❤ I just got the Charlotte tilbury Hollywood flawless filter and I absolutely adore it, I just don't know how to use it too well. I've been applying it to my cheek area and then using a stippling brush to blend it out, then since I have such creasing issue with concealer, I just use a tiny dot of foundation under each eye to use as my concealer and I blend it out with a small fluffy crease brush. Then I lightly set under my eye with a tiny kiss of powder like you used, to slightly set my under eye and I'll add a dab of whatever is left to my nose and between my brows. Thank you for another lovely video. I wish you could post full face videos all the time because I love watching you apply makeup and talk about products. You are incredibly knowledgeable 🖤
Another great video✨ I love CT Hollywood flawless filter, I use it everyday but never used it my under eye and around smile line. I definitely do this tomorrow! I need “ Less is more “ T shirts 😆 You always help me.Thank you ✨
Hey, girl! 👋🏻 I always blot before re-applying powders, I imagine you do with combo/oily clients too, just to remove the excess oils-if the client has extra sebum & sweat -then gently apply powder in a rolling motion with my brush or puff. Love that simple way of refreshing an entire look. I enjoy your style, personality & technique very much. I also respect it as a fellow artist. It’s interesting that I primarily use Hollywood flawless filter for a lighting/highlight effect under & to lift the eyes , too. After I ran out of the recalled/discontinued Becca light shifting “concealer” I immediately thought of Charlotte Tilbury’s flawless filter to replace it, it’s obviously not exactly the same, but it’s damn close , with a similar lit from within effect. That Becca light shifter was impeccable though, such micro fine pigments that really brightened the area without exaggerating texture. Too bad they had serious issues with the some of the batches & had to pull it entirely.☹️ Did you try it?
I just love these how- to videos so much...they're really helpful. Still amazed at that eyebrow one!! Just wish I had these tips before my wedding in October...wanted to splurge on a professional MUA but wasn't allowed during Covid 😐
@@CHERIVOYAGE awww thank you.. so sweet! I was actually supposed to get married in March last year but after a full year of planning everything got shut down in my state 10 days before! But it all worked out and getting married in the autumn is beautiful! My favorite season anyway 🍁
Thanks for the helpful video Cheri. I am such a culprit for using too much powder - exactly like you demonstrated with a beautyblender grinding into the powder in circles. It's like my security blanket for when I want to do my makeup fast when I have taken no time between skincare/foundation/powder. I don't see another way because otherwise my skin is too tacky to add powder products like blush and bronzer. I have to dry out the surface first.
@@CHERIVOYAGE Thank you for the tip. I don't have oily skin but the problem is that I put on moisturizer then do my foundation right away. So the surface is pretty moist unless I wait ten mins for it to set down. The blotting paper sounds like a good hack for when I can't wait between steps. Thanks.
This is so helpful. I need to take more time with the powder! I'll do it and believe the results will be worth the extra effort. I tend to rush through putting too much on.
Love your look!!! Absolutely loving it!! May I ask do you recommend any concealer for eyes with fine lines under? I do put cream on but they are there already, haha.
Hello, very nice video, so much learned from your tutorials, One thing i want to know when moisturizer chanel le lift applied? Tinted moisturizer as well how i can applied, please guide me.
I have absolutely been binging your videos the last few days! What if the Gucci powder isn’t enough to set oily skin? Is it ok to go in with a true setting powder and then use a powder like the Gucci as a “finishing” powder? Edit: depending on what type of foundation I would need to usually use the Laura Mercier setting powder

Loved this! So helpful, thank you!!

25 years as a makeup artist! How old were you when you started, 10?
Best comment on here and so true!! She swears she's 40 but I'm not 100% convinced about that 😉
What is you thought on Chanel Les Beiges foundation ?
A little too dry for Combination dry skin. Good for those who are on the oily side :)
what is the problem when you buff in your foundation over your skincare & primer, but it all seems to IMMEDIATELY end up in scarred pores & crevasses?
💞
👌👏💓
Its your fault!!! You made me do it - Chanel Muted Fuschia.
Brush side looks heavy .... 🍀
@@CHERIVOYAGE ... the one you used brush to put foundation on.. looks full coverage...💕
But your forehead and eyelids are still yellow!
Preach 🫰 I get somewhat pissed when people blame makeup when it’s obvious the person doesn’t take proper care of their skin.
