      @raininess 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +36

      @@katylepetsos7512 The things is, you can't tell with strangers, so it's better to be safe than sorry. I'm pretty sure most women are aware that not every guy is out to get them, but if you're alone and you hear footsteps behind you it's enough to give you a scare. It's less "This person MUST be a creep" and more "IF this person is a creep I have a problem".
      And don't get me wrong, there's also creepy women - like old ladies trying to touch your baby wtf, but those usual aren't physically strong enough to make you fear them.
      Also heavily depends on the situation: Guy asking for directions and then walking into the direction you told him - perfectly fine;
      guy asking for directions and then walking with you even though you told them that you aren't sure and that he should should ask that group over there who may be able to help but he completely ignores that, then you decide you can at least show him the bus station but he still walks with you after that and asks for your number and what time you get to and off work and that you should be friends... yeah, you notice it was never about directions.

I remember I used to work at a hot tub store and this guy started harassing the lady who worked behind the desk, and all I said is "if you want to act like this you see yourself out of the store" the man still didn't leave so me being male let my co-worker go into the break room while I got the customer what he needed and made sure he left. i'm surprised HR didn't find a way to flip it back on you, given the bizarre excuses men find to victim blame women. Like at this point, i wouldn't be surprised if guys said "well, she came out of her mom's womb so, clearly [the most uncontroversially horrible act you can imagine] is actually her fault!"

    • @chukyuniqul
      @chukyuniqul หลายเดือนก่อน

      HR is widely a men's nightmare, since unless you're dealing with a corrupt pig for a boss, HR being majorly women they side with one another, hence why all the horror stories of being fired over fabricated allegations. Hell, if your boss is a specific breed of corrupt pig (the pretend-liberal) it still won't matter.
      Also imma be honest: I have only ever seen men "victim blame" when there was no victim at all, or present. Like women have a public, general conversation on the topic of assault and are spiraling into fearmongering and absurdist thoughts and some guy pops up with a common sense statement (i.e. don't accept drinks from a stranger or avoid bad areas at night or don't look like a victim-to-be) and they're called victim blamers even though the circumstances discussed are hypotheticals. Now, I'm old enough to know this is because the women are talking about traumas and things that have happened to them or their friends without saying it out loud, but that's a) not the case for everyone and b) not obvious to the man. So you can't go and act like he was acting in full knowledge.
      I don't doubt there's people whp victim blame, with men being more likely to have egregious outlandish takes on the topic, but I really think the number is overinflated.

      I have a theory about that. So you know how people are biologically wired to want to have children? since things can go wrong in the brain leading to autism, ADHD ect, I'm guessing that something went wrong with those parts of the brain, mixing sexual desires, with that desire, leading to an attraction to minors. If this is the case, then it might be able to get tested and cured, thus preventing pedos. Again, this is just a theory of biology, I'm likely completely wrong and these guys just chose to be creeps to minors.

    I'll never understand how someone can be so open about being ready to SA another human being. I can't even handle accidentally glancing someone for too long, let alone saying something like that! People can be gross in ways I cannot comprehend.
    One thing I will say though is HR is *not* your friend, they defend the company from you going at them. It really needs to be taught more that if you are being sexually harassed, you NEED to go elsewhere immediately. Don't ever keep things in the company, report and leave receipts. It's depressing that when someone feels uncomfortable and they are young, they don't feel like they can do anything because they don't know how to handle it. Or if they do, they worry about retaliation.

    I am still in school and I recently wrote an essay about girlhood and feeling the rush to grow up and losing your innocence because of society around me. A segment was also deidcated to creepy men and women and I deeply resonated with you when you said “They feel the need to touch you or your hips” and the feeling of helplessness after SA. I felt sad after I wrote the essay because I never dove that deep and acknowledged the weirdos and society in general to little girls. Tysm for this videos Ilysm and you’re such an inspiration to me ❤

      One word, 💫Misogyny 💫
      To put it simply, men like the ones described in the video view women as sex objects/easy targets. They don't respect women as people, and they would probably go after teens if it wasn't considered an atrocity worse than murder

    I'm 17 and working at a Burger King. Two of my former coworkers were creepy men. One left because of family issues, and the other got fired for his behavior
    The first guy was someone I had known since my first day working there. I've been working there for about a year now, so I was 16 at the time. He came off as odd to me, but I still treated him nicely so I wouldn't be seen as rude or anything like that. He'd always try to suck up to me. For example, he'd sing songs, show off his ability to mimic cartoon character voices, and when he found out that I'm a Mormon, he'd preach to me about stuff that I already know (He doesn't even go to church anymore). We closed together twice (two people close every night, so it was just me and him), and I was worried he'd try to do something to me. Thankfully, he didn't. One day, my boss approached me and told me that others were complaining to her that this guy was saying inappropriate stuff to me, which absolutely shocked me. I had no recollection of him ever saying anything to me, and I still don't know to this day. I've always been oblivious to flirting and stuff like that, so I always brushed everything he said off as him trying to be friendly in a weird way. I've asked my other coworkers what it was that he may have said to me, and all they said was that it was stuff that he shouldn't be talking about with girls my age. Ugh... If only I was able to understand when someone's trying to get too close and personal with me. A few months later, he ended up leaving because his ex-wife was trying to get his money or smth like that (I don't know all the details). I guess a lot of the people I work with who knew him didn't ever like him at all and all agreed that he was creepy. There was one time when he tried to remove my headset from my head, but I politely declined. That was probably the creepiest he ever got with me (that I actually remember)
    The second guy was a bit more discreet about it, but when I found out about everything he's done... Oh, boy... So, this guy got hired a little while after the first guy left. We were on good terms for the longest time, but there were lots of times when I didn't feel like talking to him because he's way older than me and I don't quite trust him all the way. Anyway, he would try to keep the dirty talk to a minimum when I was around and stuff, which I thought was nice. Eventually, it came to a point where my friend (who worked with me for a short while and goes to school with me) started making claims against him. He had disrespected her opinion on a serious topic because he's older than her. He seemed to believe that teenagers' opinions don't matter when the opposing side is an adult. My friend wrote up an entire statement with things said by other people we worked with about things that he had done. Sometime before he got fired, he did two things to me that I didn't like. The first thing he did was claim that I am not a real follower of the Bible because I study the Book of Mormon too. I didn't say anything back to him because I didn't want to fight back. Not to mention, my boss was there, so I didn't want to start anything (I'm also just not that kind of person). The second thing he did was show me a picture he had on his phone of my boss in her bra. I should've told my friend to put that in her statement. My friend let me read her statement, and oh my gosh... First of all, he was creepy to all the female employees. He suggested that the female uniform should be changed to bikinis, suggested to another former co-worker of mine (who I respect deeply) that he should wait until I turn 18 then start dating me (Thankfully, the cool guy said no), then told this same guy (who has a twin sister) that if he would do some nasty stuff to the sister if he were in the womb with her. Long story short, he got fired after this statement was shared to the higher-ups
    Now there's another guy who call me and two other underaged girls that I'm working with "Mama". He had a discussion with me about this movie I watched called "Adam" (It's based on a true story and stars Aaron Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman in "Breaking Bad") because I had seen boobs in the movie. Not appropriate at all, especially since I'm a minor. I'm going to keep a close eye out for this new guy and pray that something doesn't happen with him too

    I don't have the mindset, let alone the balls to do these things. I have a hard time even talking to strangers, despite being a muscular man in my twenties, let alone harass them this way. But then again, I was raised this way, had been traumatised into being an introvert so maybe that has to do with it. I am only able to these bold things if I'm online but I still don't do it. I treat women like men, I do not talk more than necessary, try to be honest and friendly as I can
    And as a gray person myself, don't hate on your look. You have to accept how you look so you can look into the mirror and say to yourself "yes, that's me". Besides, people sometimes find the grayness attractive

      Now you've got me curious what you mean by tramatized as an introvert. I'd love to hear the story if you are willing to tell it.
      Wait shit I read that wrong and thought you meant your extravert friends would force you to go into situations that you weren't prepared for and gave you high anxiety and that had the gall to act offended when you inevitably don't want to do it again due to it going horribly.
      But I'll keep the comment edited instead of outright deleted in case you do want to tell your story. I'm a good listener and I don't judge.

      @@unicorns7571 god forbid someone wants to be single. At the time, I was looking to date (I’m taken now), but even when I was single, I wanted to form an actual bond with someone- not jump to the creep who kept asking for a minor’s number lol.

    People like this being out there in the world is why I act the way I do. I never want anyone to feel uncomfortable so I try to act as a safe space for people to vent about their day, cause if I can make even one person’s day better then I can die happy.

    I just discovered you, but I just wanna say that I'm sorry you had to go through something so horrible, I've never experienced something like that before (well I did work at a school and one of the security guards who was as old as my dad kept asking if I had a boyfriend but he didn't do anything else, I'm not even that attractive so I don't know why I was the target) but no one deserves to go through that, but I'm happy you got out of that situation before it could've gone so much worse.

      Sometimes I don’t even think looks really are a factor to men like that, they want you if you seem easy to manipulate. And considering at the time I was dealing with the aftermath of being SA’d i definitely would have been an easy target.

    As someone who stopped presenting fem online almost completely because I prefer being masc and get less weird sexualized comments.
    I totally understand your troubles with the stacked avatar, irl I have A a very similar build and people would "flirt " with me by pointing out how large my tits are or how my hips look good or my hair looks awful etc
    And yet these fem traits are exactly what I hate about myself and yet if they got to onow me for five minutes they would know im more than that

I like hugging, doesnt mean i hug strangers without consent, within the appropriate social situation.. and im autistic! Some women do it to other women in a friendly way, but seems off doing it to someone you DONT know at all.

    Warehouse forklfter here. We had a guy like the one from part 2 for a grand total of two days. First tried to stare me down (got pissed that i honked around a corner near him). He got a professional warning from at least three different managers that witnessed it and a few more "we will beat your ass" warnings from co-workers. Then, he tried "pranking" of one of the minors making boxes by grabbing her waist. He was instantaneously let go with police coming later to get witness statements. Both from the work incedent and the multiple assaults he experienced while fleeing the premises. We later got informed that he was in fact not pranking like he stated. He did almost the exact same thing the guy did to you.
    That's how it should've gone for the gross excuses of men at that factory. I'm sorry that company failed to keep you and your sister safe during your work.
