Lovely to see your wife walking with you. The landscape looks so surreal with the inversion and I'm so impressed how you don't lose your bearings but can still name all the mountains. Wonderful!
Thanks Sue, the mountains are like dear friends - lol I always give them a wave from the summits (if I am lucky enough to have views to see them !!);) Take care and thanks for watching Murray

Thanks Susan - it was a great trip. ATB Murray P.S. been listening to all my old ML albums since the sad news hit - such a great singer and performer :) RIP
Always special. Quite fortunate that where I live on a hill above 2 valleya in Yorkshire we get them quite regularly throughout Autumn-Spring. Lack decent mountains though!
I had this about two times in the Jura hills in Switzerland. I had slept in my hammock and then woke up just before sunrise - with the "sea of fog" (as we call it in Swiss German) between the Jura hills and the Alps. So stunningly beautiful! :)
First time I've seen you with your very understanding wife Murray. She's obviously a very loving and fantastic woman, hope you appreciate her, and I'm sure you do👍 great video as always
Aaw what a great wee video. The Winter Solstice was lovely even at low level, for me, but even better to get the height to see the inversion. What a view. Nice to see your Boss, and is it Lexi ?, sweet pup. Thanks Murray, Alioban
Another cracking video, and share that inversion with she who has to be obeyed. I'll be up in June to savour the hills above Killin, and maybe an inversion. Fingers crossed 🙂
It is always a special experience to step out of the clouds into the sunlight. You have some wonderful images from above the mists. Thank you for sharing what was a special day.
absolutely - think this was the last day before schools broke off - makes sense as the weather changed the day after which coincided with the school holidays - always happens the weather goes rubbish as soon as the kids get their break!!lol Take are and thanks for watching ATB Murray
I was lucky enough to fly home from Edinburgh two days before this, and to see the whole of the Highlands shrouded in mist like this was quite something. Living in the middle of Finland, and having been raised in Perth, I miss those mountains.
Ah - a fellow Perthite :) Finland is a rather special place (only been once to visit Santa Claus though :) Such fine weather we got in December - inversions were all over the place :) Take are and thanks for watching ATB Murray
The decision I made to head into the mountains of Lochaber for a few days whilst picking my son up from Glasgow turned out to be a very wise/lucky one indeed. It was at the same time you were filming this and the rough bounds video and the views from the peaks were stunning - captured really well in your videos. Days like these have me wanting to move north even from the beauty and tranquility of Mid-Wales......but then I remember all the days I've spent in clag and being savaged by midges........🤣. I'll be back soon enough, though. Thanks for the videos!
Hi Ian - you hit the jackpot in terms of the weather conditions and your trip (as did I - it was just as I was starting some annual leave). So great when the weather god smile when you head to the mountains :) Take are and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Excellent that Murray. We were definitely spoilt for inversions last year but they should never be taken for granted. That euphoric feeling as I break out into the sunshine is the same no matter how many times I've done it. ATB Murray
I have to agree, not much beats the feeling after being in the clag and sweating it out to emerge above the cloud :) lets hope for more this year for sure :) Take are and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Superb Murray with your wife and dog. Thanks for the geography lesson with the mountains, you could see so far, Cairngorms and BN. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Wonderful that the Boss 😃 got to see her first inversion Murray. It's always a brilliant feeling and experience when you can share something magical with someone else for the first time. Really happy that it all worked out for you both. Thanks for sharing and stay safe out there Murray. ATB.
magic again, lovely experience with your wife and doggy. Look forward to Wednesday nights, must be time you hiked out with your brother, long time no see.
There was a nice shot of the silhouette of you, your wife and your dog looking out at the view. It always looks like you can walk on the clouds to the next peak Lots of fog bows too Very nice video..take care 🇨🇦 ❤️
Wonderful, incredible scenes and views! Spoiling the wife 😁👍 what a first inversion to see! My goodness! The peaks popping out! Ben more, Louie my goodness! Some great footage Murray 🙌👍
Thanks Mali - it was a tremendous week or so - the following day the weather broke (just as the school holidays struck) - really want to get my son up a hill in these conditions too one day :) Take are and thanks for watching ATB Murray
There may not have been much snow this winter but I’ll remember it as the winter of inversions, fog bows and Brocken Spectres. You’ve clearly had a lot up in the highlands and the Lakes have been the same. Pleased your wife and wee dug got to join in the party 👍👍
I know - its was a right good run of the inversions TBH :) Back to something a wee bit more like winter next week :) Take are and thanks for watching atb Murray

Nice relaxing trip compared to your previous one for sure👍 Got a cloud inversion there back in August. Always great having Beinn Ghlas and Meall nan Tarmachan so near to the car park. The views are stunning too. You have done well with the inversions recently. ATB Gaz.

I've yet to experience an inversion like that, had a slight inversion on Ben Ime last year but nothing to this degree. Smashing footage as always Murray.
So beautiful! I remember that day - it was bitterly cold at below-inversion levels. I did a circuit of hills near Peebles with some friends, and it was freezing and misty all day. I somehow managed to miss out on all those inversions. The week before I was at Creise in Glencoe - it was t-shirt weather at the summit, but the inversion clouds evaporated before 9am.
So nice when these condition occur and strange when its warmed on the mountain tops than it is down in the glens! Take are and thanks for watching ATB Murray
