I like this kind of in-depth emulation content, thank you very much for your honest review about our Citron and my recent driver BioSensor MK - I; i'm taking notes for everyone to be able to deliver a more stable driver for everyone, even tho, those are for testing gpu binding limits, it's open free and sure to use, i'm considering device health, so this driver is free of danger, as this is one of my objetives with this project. I'm hoping to see more content. Edit: MK is spelled as "Mark", i'm just a nerd of nomenclature...
Ah I don’t know why I didn’t pick up on it being “Mark One”. Sorry about that. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and the showcase on the driver. Thanks for your hard work.
In my testing on my Odin 2 mini, Ive found the turnip driver v25.0.0 Rev8 generally works better than the biosensor MK-1. Some other games require older drivers, specifically BOTW, I found driver 24.1.0 Rev 17-v2 works best.
@@SlakOffs Yea I noticed the vulcan is 1.4.303 for v25r8 and vulkan 1.3.296 for MK1. Not sure if that makes much difference. There's so many versions it becomes a game of trial and error. Like I havent found a driver that doesnt cause some indoor lighting in Skyrim to not flicker like a strobe light.
How does BoTW fair on this? On Both Cemu and the Switch emu? I know Cemu has a 33fps patch, could possibly work, only ever seen it locked at 30 on the OG Odin 2.
how are you getting anything working with the mk1 driver? i set everything up exactly the way you did but the games crash after loading into them? odin 2 mini, same exact processor, fan on smart, high performance. firmware is ver 19. the mk1 if anything hinders performance on every rom. is there something im missing here? when i dont use the mk1 driver, things pretty well for most games (turnip 25 r8)

why MK1 driver? they have only been officially out since yesterday and are anything but “stable” don't understand why you prefer the mk1 drivers for the switch games in your video instead of older, much more stable ones... especially for such a light weight game like golf...you don't need mk1 drivers for that... sonic x shadow generations: the sonic part runs perfect the shadow part has a problem..but with a few tweaks its playable.. u dont need "high perf." mode the standart mode is way enough!! for 1-2 games , yea , u need the high perf. mode...
MK1 is specifically tuned for Citron and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. I wouldn’t suggest it if I didn’t have good success with it. If earlier drivers work better for you, then that’s great. Thanks for watching!
@@TeamRetrogue Thanks for putting the video together. Ironically the very first game I tried had issues with the MK1 driver. Went back to Turnip 25 r7 and it's perfect again. I'm still disappointed, in general, with the Portal simply because there are so many AAA games that work on the Odin 2 that freeze up on the Portal. I hope they can fix it...
@@The_Answer-e8z Yep. I was expecting an identical experience to my O2, but I get crashes on every emulator/driver config on the Portal that I didn't get on the O2. Gotta be a software thing.

Amazing intro! 🤣🤣🤣 Also, I have that same red holiday blanket and the same Adidas pants as Nefarious. 😅😅
My wife got me both of those actually! She told me it was for comfort, but I still suspect it was her quiet way of calling me fat.
I knew there was more than one reason we were friends. :)
Tech dad when winlator vid plssss
I haven’t even gotten past the intro and this is the best video out so far this year that shit was hysterical!
Hey what was that white stuff on the ground during your montage??
We call it “snow.” It gets so cold up here this time of year that water actually freezes and turns into this cold powder. It’s the oddest thing.
@@TeamRetrogue that sounds totally made up.
Love Russ lmao 😂
Russ 🤩🤩
reading this has confirmed I have a dirty mind
Awesome showcase! That intro killed me 😂. Good to see nefarious too 🙂
"I never say this, 'cause its never true... but for the first time ever, I'm proud of you." LOL! What poetry.
Nefarious totally meant to do that.
I TOTALLY meant to do that. Completely intentional…..

That’s really interesting because I’ve had the exact opposite happen. 25.0.0 Rev8 gave me a ton of crashes.
@ are you in citron 0.4? If that's in your video I might have missed it.

I'm getting crashes / freezing with MK-1 in DQ3 HD remake but 25v8 seems stable so far...

Mainline or mainline-optimised release?
Mainline. I had better luck with it.
Thank you for this
I probably missed the info during the video, but is it the base model? Thanks for the video

Links Awakening you need two patches and NOT use the 1.1 update - works fine in Yuzu 278 when it released
What do guys recommend to use for unzipping files
On Android I use ZArchiver.
