have you ever looked at the Cutter and thought "you know what. this ship needs to be wider" xD
Yup. X) I always thought it looked nose heavy. Those wing mods move some of the visual weight backwards.

Not a ship that I'm likely to get myself, but it's good to see that they (ED) are starting to put some real effort in to the ship kits. Makes me wonder what they'll come up with for the Imperial Eagle (still one of my favourite vessels).

That wing kit you chose was a truly great choice. Really gives the Cutter a great visual improvementx and it almost embodies similar characteristics of an SR71 Blackbird Stealthplane. Awesome choice 👌👍👍👍

That kit is definitely better looking on this ship, than the equivalent Raider kit. This ship looks amazing with and without kit, I think the word majestic says it for itself. The paintings is amazing too. Just make a choice for pairing the paintings with the engine exhaust steam for even better effect. Anyway, great show, thanks a lot. Liked and subscribed.

I have been waiting for a kit for my Cutter so it is definitely a purchase I'll be making. I hope they will offer the "Sync" style paint job for the Cutter..I think the kit would like great with that style of painting.
I got the ship kit today and I really like it. Not a fan any of the wing pieces honestly, but there's a couple of bumpers I like, and all the spoilers are excellent. My fav spoiler is the low wide one you didn't like. It's like it adds a tail. Good luck on your CG, btw. I did a few runs, but I've since called it a night. Seems to be going strong.

Ha it is indeed absolutely insane! Not too sure they add much to the elegant design of the ship with the exception of the bumpers which slim down the rather portly mid-section of the ship. Will probably still end up buying them, I am a sucker for these!

Chaoss - re: camera restrictions and clipping in external view - can you return to surface and do the camerawork there? Nice kit, not sure if it's nice enough to part me from my money! Is there any practical effect to the kit? i.e. Do the wider wings translate to a wider hitbox?

the kit is a tad unpolished, Have some parts tighter to the lines or following lines a bit better would be nice but overall i absolutely love it, I do hope though that it receives some polish some time in the future.

The spoilers inside the hanger look ridiculous but out flying not so bad. The grilling fork bumper on the other hand, sure, if you are going to be grilling a couple of whales on a star they seem nice.
I sold my Cutter months ago, but I bought this kit :D Now I just have to buy Cutter again :D
I do love my cutter, so normally I'd probably get this kit. However... can't Frontier move the decals and designation spots whenever they release these kits? The fact that they are covering decals up just seems kinda sloppy. Like they didn't fully test it. So yeah... not sure yet.

Exactly the same since the kit is visual only and has no hit box.
Oh thank god, also i cant believe that the kti parts obscuring icronography and ship ID's got past Q&A, you'd think they may have it moved to the Ship kit part that obscured it if its attached somewhere or something along those lines.

Dieses Kit ist schon eine tolle Sache. ABER... ich habe das Kit auch und leider habe ich auch schon einen Fehler darin gefunden. Und zwar bei dem Heckspoiler, den Du im Video ausgesucht hast. In Deinem Video liegen die "Hitzeklappen" AUF DEM Spoiler auf. Somit gehen die Klappen während des "auf und zu" immer DURCH den Spoiler. Schade eigentlich. Ist im Grunde ein sehr gutes Kit. Mfg Commander Whoogie

Seems like the WOJ are being undermined by other players across all systems right now because of the CG.
Hmmm I do often think that Frontier ship kit design team is not the greatest out the box, esp: with some kt parts not fitting or covering up decals, suggest a lazy quick design approach at best, with a handful that work but does not out way the ones that just are awful. I hope frontier start re designing ship kits or give it the attention it needs esp: again as they are a paid content.
At the very least I think that the decal locations need to be moved to work with the kits.

Wouldn't it be nice if we can unlock things like this with in game currency, we have bought the full game after all lol, imagine need for speed without body kits n paint, everyone's cars look the same but different performance. It's wrong in my eyes

I'm fine with some random parts bolted to a Cobra, but not the same thing on every ship - even this one, where they really contradict the ship's design.
the point is customisation. if they wanted to keep the ships design, they would have left the design alone.
I for one appreciate the ability to drastically change the lines and design of my ship, it stops it feeling as stale which is something drastically needed in elite

after watching it... spoilers are ok, the wings are terrible and the bumpers are basically where the wings are meant to go and not an actual bumper. bumpers do not go on the side of a vehicle... this aweful trash costs real money before any type of testing and or feedback from the people that actually fly the ships. frontier disapoints yet again.
