Man, that is a majestic trumpet. Good grief, who could give this splendid stuff a thumbs down? I mean, it can't be for all tastes but how could you actively dislike something so distinctive and atmospheric, and such a part of a long-vanished film style?
What a beautiful composition of music. I have never even seen this movie, but am a fan of westerns and their music. Very sad that such amazing work can fade away and become lost under the constant stream of time. Kids today are force-fed jumpy, shallow garbage; music that fails to penetrate the soul.
It's okay. The internet allows kids the opportunity to dive deep and discover a wider array of artistic experience than has ever been available to a human being. Those who seek profound stimulation are fish to water and want for very little, musically.
