I was only young when Paddy left the Blades and I remember being heartbroken as he was easily my favourite player. Hearing his side to the story is fantastic and it’s just class to relive his career in such a hilarious way. Top man is Paddy and the podcasts keep getting better 👏

Cheltenham fan - remember Sheff Utd coming from a pre season game maybe 2004/2005. Paddy had a good laugh and joke with the home fans when it was his half in front of the home end. Gave his gloves to a young home fan and shook hands/clapped the home fans at full time. Never seen anything like it from an opposition keeper, seemed like a cracking, down to earth chap as he does in this. Delighted to see the career he had and cracking pod!

He was unbelievable at QPR, He's a keeper that wins ya points, he made saves that was the difference between getting 3points or dropping 2 ta getting 1 , or even 1 ta 0.......... many times!!!

Again though, great video and its so nice and flatterning to hear a footballers story becoz we may put them on a pedistall, but it doesnt mean they get it easy! As a blade it’s very upsetting to hear it ended sour with Kenny. I was only a young lad when he left for QPR but the word was then that he left for money. And me, amongst many other blades hated him after previously loving him. Wasn’t ever that keen on him after up until these 2 podcasts to be completely honest but got to swallow it all now, top lad Paddy is. The club didn’t deserve him after what they done. Glad him and Neil got the last laugh, and even sacked Blackwell in the process.

I had a lot of respect for Paddy until he said Chicken Korma ;o) In my opinion, he was a great goalkeeper, saw him down at Portman road many times and he always played his heart out and either ruined our day or saved his teammates from a hiding! Some podcast. Brilliant insight to the lower leagues. Players I’ve learned about through year after year of championship manager and it’s brilliant to hear their stories. Some weird thingS happened in that game though considering big parkins pace was 20 🤣
Being a blade- we have a massive flag at the top of the Kop from 2008/09 and has some of the main players from that season still up. Paddy is one of them players but since he left he has had a neon yellow “NON BELIEVER” over him. Feel it could be changed now cos it seems to me he’s a blade at heart
