Thanks for posting this as a response. The cage I have mine in is not a tank though. And cannot be turned right side up. I will eventually build them some kind of rack to hold 10 gallons like that.
Crested geckos don't actually need uvb, they have been raised for many years without uvb. It is okay if you do, but it one more exspense bulb to replace when it breaks or when it runs out of uvb
The thing about the Crested gekko is that its Night active and therefore doessent have any requirements for UVB and another thing is that Room temp is about 20 Degrees and the Wanted Temp should be 24 - 26 Degrees a day and a few degrees less at night. NEVER LET IT BE OVER 28 ! But else nice work with the terrarium and i rly like Plants and how it fits the envorioment
@FrogsforLifee2011 Thank you so much! And cresties are really awesome reptiles so I hope you will enjoy it! If you have any question for me I'd be glad to answer them and if you would like to see any specific things on video I could do that to. thanks again.
@twillis10 Your welcome :) when they become adults give a 20 gallon tank to each. Or a 35 gallon for all your females. If you have any males they should be solitary. Or you can keep a trio in a 35 gallon.
Really good, but your gecko would be able to probably fit and like it in there if you took out some plants I find that your 10 gallon tank right there has way to much plants it looks like a whole bunch of plants crammed in
nice setup but to much plants crested geckos need space to jump around and move around the tank so it wount feel cramped but other than that nice and add an dish of crested gecko diet
hey MonsterUnderneath, Love your Tank! Just one Thing, I Have The Same Soil As You Just When I feed My Crestie Crickets He Sometimes injests The Soil Is This A Problem? Thx And please Respond! From:CrestedgeckoTV
the water and food cant be on the floor. they stay up towards the top, you will rarely ever see them at the bottom. i have a magnetic food and water bowl for my crestie that i stick at the top.

@Reptileden98 It can. That's why you feed the insects in a bowl. Or you use paper towel :)
thnks alot bro
cool!! thanks!! but cant eco earth impact them??
@LeoMyGecko No problem man.
@ZIMBLOY what are you? a cricket expert? huh? no? I thought not.
@Bert5181cp Yes you should feed your crested from a feeding bowl. Put the crickets in that and he'll be fine! :]
@Westernpainted530 I know. It's not necessary I just do it because it does help in vitamin D3 absorption. Thanks though.
@reptileman24 lol the expensive kind :P nah he's a partial pinstripe with really creamy paterns going along his sides.
This was helpful, I am getting into some Cresteds!

@MonsterUnderneath the crickets will escape
@Timmer66Productions Yes they will. 4 a month AT MOST. The chitin build up fromt their hard exoskeletons will be the death of them.
