    I make rosaries which requires a LOT of loops..I found I’m pretty good at make the first loop by hand but was wasting a ton of wire trying to make the second loop by hand. I also found I was wasting a lot of wire making both loops with the looper. For me the perfect combination is to make the first loop by hand and the second loop with the looper. Making an entire rosary, my scrap wire is less than an inch over all.

    I recently was layed off from my job. I tinkered with jewelry making for a few years, but never anything serious. Mostly stretch bracelets. While sitting home depressed about losing my job I pulled out my jewelry making materials to keep from crying, and started making my bracelets. I have been looking through TH-cam for videos on different techniques. Some were good and some not so good., I ran across yours and I have to say your teaching style is so detailed and I was able to fully comprehend most of the techniques. I've ordered your recommended supplies and now I am on my way to a new side hustle. Thanks so much for what you do. I know it takes lots of time to create these videos. Also tell your husband thank too. I know he's behind the scenes helping you create these videos. Happy New Year to you guys. Wish me luck!

    Some great tips here! Unfortunately I learnt the hard way that very small beads can crack or shatter if you don’t leave a little room for the looper to close. Also the loops do sometimes turn out less than perfect, so might need closing or tweaking slightly with pliers. Otherwise they are fantastic tools - I love mine!

    • @The_Stylish_Maker

    I find that the 1.5 looper is more difficult to use when you already have a bead on the wire. It’s hard to get a loop close enough to the bead. I usually end up doing the second loop by hand. The 2.5 looper does a much better loop next to the bead.

    OK I have a question for you and you might have a video on it that I missed how do you make your memory wire bracelets from poking you wrist I have tried just about every thing I could find on it not even a memory bead end worked

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks Janie, that's a great question. Unfortunately, I need to ask you a question in return - how do you end your memory wire bracelets? I always make a small loop facing inwards. I squeeze it a bit flat so that there aren't any sticky out buts that can scratch me. You can also end a memory wire bracelet with a half drilled bead (the hole only goes half way through) which is stuck onto the wire with glue.
      The other thing to be aware of is size of the memory wire. If it is digging into you, maybe your memory wire is too small (as in the round measures smaller than your wrist).
      I'm not sure whether you've watched any of my memory wire bracelets but maybe this one can help with how I begin and end them. th-cam.com/video/7dKvPtueiV4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hw8Ez3ZVA8LIUZJ7

    I have one of these loopers in each size. I do like the tools, but I've run across the problem of getting my wire hung up in them and having to work it loose, then I have to take my looping pliers and complete the loops, since they don't always go all the way around.
