Can the real Constitution be restored? Probably not. Too many Americans depend on government money under programs the Constitution doesn't authorize, and money talks with an eloquence Shakespeare could only envy.

No such thing as skilled or a skill shortage in nz. Those are just convenient words for employers to get cheap desperate employees.

As i have neither met 3 year nor 27$ but i have worked in primary industry, so my question is how can immigration know about my job occupation? Because some of the advisor tell me immigration will send invitation to elligible candidates.

In general, if you hold an employer-linked work visa, then INZ will have a record of your occupation. If you're on an open work visa, then they won't.
Don't worry about invitations. If you qualify, just apply through the website.

Is this fair? We both have been here for 4 years. We are both holding student visa and on the pathway to get the post student work visa. Only because you applied for it ONE day earlier than me , I am kicked out, you can be a resident and I can't.
Why does the limitation apply for work visa by 29th of September . It should be graduated before 29th of September.
Application time can be changed according to many uncertainties, such as internet traffic, but the graduation time of your visa is planned one year before and can't be changed.
To get NZ resident visa is like gambling, rules always change and no fair standard.

In my view Canada was fairer. The NZ one-off resident visa is unfair.
For example, a student visa holder who knew this from social media before it was announced and applied for the post student work visa on 29th , then he gets the chance, but another one applied for a post student work visa on 30th September and missed out.
Why should people who meet the same criteria be treated differently just because one knew this earlier than other.
Some people came here 10 years ago and were separated from family for 3 years missed out, but some came here 2 years...can't speak English but are eligible. So unfair and ridiculous.

Andre! How do you see or foresee the status of EOI applicants waiting in the queue? Probably more than 11000 at the moment.... When would they hear a good news or is there any chance, they would become part of this residence announcement in later weeks?

    • @andre.smith_LIA
      @andre.smith_LIA  3 ปีที่แล้ว

I don't think EOIs will be selected until at least August 2022. If a person with an EOI in the pool qualifies for the new 2021 residence visa, then I recommend applying for it as well.

Wow! Excited! Hopefully this will push through. I have been waiting for 18 mos
My concern is the englisht test. Im on the LTSSL visa as a registered nurse in aged care. I have submitted for SMC last year and my english exam expired last month due to the long wait. Just wondering if you think on this new one off visa if we will be required to retake the test?

First provide the affordable housing and suitable job for the kiwi citizens and then give residency to aliens.

“Time spent in New Zealand for Current work visa holders as of 29 September (3 years).
I am currently on Essential work visa.
I have been in New Zealand since 2013
6 years on a student visa.
Got my post study work visa after graduating University. which has an expiry date of January 14, 2022.
Till now, this gives me 2 years and 9 months of work experience with post study open work visa.
I recently got my ESWV till september 2024.
My question is what does the 1st S mean. Does this mean as long as you currently have a work visa and you have been living in NZ for more 3 than years you qualify?
Or do you have to have lived in nz for 3 years on a work visa status. Which means my living of student visa won’t count. Please let me know what you think Andre even it’s a speculation.
    Thank you.
