I’m 35. I’ve wanted to learn piano since I was 13 when I walked into a music store and heard someone playing the Titanic theme song on piano. I always planned on learning someday, but haven’t yet. I’ve listened to this song and your others hundreds of times over the years. My 7 year old even requests to hear them. Tonight I’ve decided to finally learn how to play. Your music calls to the deepest part of us. Strikingly beautiful.

Je ne sais pas jouer du piano, mais c'est un rêve que j'ai depuis toujours. C'est même l'un des principaux objectifs dans ma vie que je me suis fixé, quand j'entends de grands et talentueux pianistes comme Ludovico Einaudi, Yann Tiersen, dernièrement Jean-Michel Blais ou encore vous, cela m'inspire tellement. Certains morceaux sont si beaux qu'ils vous en glacent même le sang, tant leur pouvoir de communication est si puissant. Comme un proverbe le dit si bien (et parfaitement même) : « La musique commence là où s'arrête le pouvoir des mots. ». Vous ferez donc parti de ces somptueux pianistes qui m'inspireront et me donnent envie de commencer l'apprentissage de cet instrument. Merci pour votre musique et votre talent. 🙏
Je vous remercie infiniment d'avoir pris le temps d'écrire ce commentaire qui me touche beaucoup. Le piano s'apprend, comme à peu près tout et il n'est jamais trop tard. J'ai eu des élève de plus de 70 et 80 ans qui ont débuté le piano et fini par jouer du blues et un peu de jazz pour l'un et du chopin pour l'autre...
Peut-être nous croiserons-nous en concert!
