Klaus and Elijah are the best duo in the TVD/TO world. While many fans hate that they both died together, I think it would have been wrong if they hadn't. Those two have such a strong connection that it is impossible to believe they'd part by choice.

It's a good tragedy to me. Elijah gave it all for family but at the end of the day there was nothing left of him in the world. His entire life spent barely living for himself. Unable to choose himself, lost his love, lost himself, full of guilt, gave up. His entire life purpose, his greatest reason for living, his life's work being the redemption of his brother. Just when he's succeeded, it ends. His greatest mission is over and he dies with him. Klaus after the suffering he went through with his brother, doing horrible things to survive, to conquer, for his family and because of it. After disappointing his brother for centuries, he finally, finally became the man Elijah always believed he could be.. when he finally found purpose, it's just over.

Eventhough Elijah loved all his family very much (hayley and hope included) and i used to think that he cared more for rebekkah (along with hayley and hope later) more ; it is clearly evident that he loves Klaus more than any of them. He dedicated his entire life for his redemption and when he finally saw that side of Klaus and realised that he was going to die in doing so he couldn't take it. Hayley dying, hope needing a guardian none of it could break him, but when Klaus was about to die he knew he couldn't let him die alone

Actually the ending scene was the sweetest thing ever and did justice to the whole relationship they had. But the way they killed Haley and they forced the death of Elijah and hers, I mean it was I would say the worst. Somehow a show about vampires managed to teach us about LOVE, FAMILIAL BONDS, BROTHERHOOD, LIFE & LOSS. That life is messy and filled with death and heartache and chaos and hatred but LOVE if you choose it makes all worth it. That everything has an end no matter how long it takes and that no matter what; the end will crush you and leave you feeling empty and utterly heartbroken...a show about vampires taught us about life. I used to hate Julie Plec for the way the shows ended but she’s an amazing creator of beautiful lessons. I appreciate her now as much as I loath her for making me feel something.

It has to be Elijah and Klaus. Elijah was so dedicated to Klaus and couldn't bare to live in a world without him. So they died alongside each other. And even though Stefan died for Damon. Damon still lived a long life after his death. Elijah couldn't stand living in a world without his brother.
Both in my opinion damon and Stefan and klaus and elijahs brotherhoods were the two most important relationships to me in #tvd and #to they were their for each other to the end. Delena n Stelena and all of the others ships r not that important to me. Family above all.

As much as their end breaks me, it was the best way for them to go out. I mean I'd have preferred them to live but if it had to be death, it's most realistic for them to face it together. And then very very close comes Klaus that matured so much, something I believed since season 1 and Hayley, a Queen really and such a pure soul
That’s why I believe she was perfect for Elijah as he was perfect for her as well
But my favorite thing in originals by farrr was the relationship between Klaus and Elijah (so well thought out and such good actors)\ the whole meaning of the series was incredible

I didn’t want any of them to die I loved all the main characters in the show I wanted Haylijah to have a happy ending and I wanted hope to have a father I was so heartbroken on the last episode I had to wait the whole day to watch it so no one would see me sobbing it was so sad

they were brothers, bestfriends and platonic soulmates and they couldn't live in a world without each other I dont think even hope was enough because even when Klaus had hope he still said things like im not good without Elijah or I need him Klaus was never going to let Elijah die for him and Elijah was never going to let Klaus die alone even Julie plec said it she said Klaus and Elijah were the non romantic endgame people think Rebekah and Klaus were the closest siblings and while I do agree maybe at first they were but then Rebekah left and Klaus and Elijah took the whole co dependency thing to a new level I mean when Elijah had his memory erased Klaus didn't go see Rebekah he went to see Elijah because while he loves Rebekah he needs Elijah Elijah and him have always been together that's why I think Elijah and Klaus are the closest of the siblings

The cast and crew made this series unforgettable, but these brother made this series legendary. The loved each other so much, more than life itself. Elijah wanted Klaus to find his salvation so that he could find his own, and Klaus needed Elijah to guide him through tough times so that he could lead a better life.
I don't have a sibling, so I don't know how having that bond feels, but these two got pretty close to showing me how it should feel. Klaus and Elijah, the Original Bond.

Would it of killed them to make a happy final episode I cried for half an hour and the episode was only like 45 minutes I'm a man and in ashamed of how much I fell for this show I recommend it in the highest honor and no matter how many years go by I shall look back and remember the originals

Somehow a show about vampires managed to teach us about LOVE, FAMILIAL BONDS, BROTHERHOOD, LIFE & LOSS. That life is messy and filled with death and heartache and chaos and hatred but LOVE if you choose it makes all worth it. That everything has an end no matter how long it takes and that no matter what; the end will crush you and leave you feeling empty and utterly heartbroken...a show about vampires taught us about life.
I used to hate Julie Plec for the way the shows ended but she’s an amazing creator of beautiful lessons. I appreciate her now as much as I loath her for making me feel something.

By the end of the originals I loved all Mikaelson siblings with the exception of Finn but when I first started out seeing them on TVD I only liked Klaus Rebekah and Elijah.
The Originals is my greatest series of all times coz it showed me no matter how broken one is they still have the love of family......as Elijah's quote says in my long life I've come to realize that we forever have a bond with those of whom we share blood and we might not be a able to choose our family ............men I jus still can't believe Klaus and Elijah and the Mikealson family is gone

It has to be Elijah and Klaus. Elijah was so dedicated to Klaus and couldn't bare to live in a world without him. So they died alongside each other. And even though Stefan died for Damon. Damon still lived a long life after his death. Elijah couldn't stand living in a world without his brother.

As much as their end breaks me, it was the best way for them to go out. I mean I'd have preferred them to live but if it had to be death, it's most realistic for them to face it together. They have always been by each other's side, the most out of all their siblings I think and one can't really be without the other so to have them go together, looking at each other as they do, it's kind of tragically beautiful
