Thanks Joe, have been struggling with hard pellet fishing of late especially on silty bottoms.loved the far bank go pro ,and the fish you put the rig over 😅
It’s a great tip. I use the beads simply because so easy to locate and hold. However it does mean you won’t be able to elastic 2 top kits from one 3m pack but 2 x short kits then yes.
I do the same thing with Preston beads, even with light elastics for silvers not to give fish more elastic to run but to add a bit more tension to elastic
Same here been doing this up the glebe for 12+ years using the frenzee blue (large) puller beads work best for the purple hydro for the margins & frenzee yellow (medium) for the black hydro for in front then get laughed at for having what i call my "Shock absorber"...Until now...😅🤷♂.
@David Webb I do yea. Any what I call heavy duty carping I just use the carp pole. The X70 is more than strong enough. I just prefer the extra robustness when having to add joints to chase fish etc
I find that sometimes the elastic can hinder the view of the float, bit distracting. I use a bit of pole elastic at the joint to tuck it in...keeps the nodder hecklers off my back too lol!

The bead is rather good, I might have to change some of my elastics, to get them a little bit more slack, but again great advice 👍
It's a great bead
Surely this can be done with any side puller bead?
Most don't have the variety of bore sizes for the different elastics

@@dt1607 perfect 👍
This also allows you to cut off some damaged elastic with out over tensioning it so win win
Yea something I didn't mention but absolutely true especially when connecting directly to the elastic like I do 👍
I've been doing this for 10+ year but get called a noddy cos of 2 foot of elastic hanging out side of pole 😂😂😂
Works though doesn't it 🤣

Great idea Joe but what if it also took the extra 😮
Well you're in big trouble 🤣
@@MatchFishingFilms Ok mate will definitely do it it's a great idea 😃
You need a bigger boat 🤣
Good little tip that,do you use the Superium carp pole for the Glebe etc?

Yea it does a bit but I think it's worth it
we all aint got side pullers , we have to ship out quicker 😀
