So watching this, because ultimate guide. It does have stuff I didn't already know from all the other starter guides, so pretty ultimate I say. I totally never thought of not blowing up my bounty ships, and looting them. That alone is a game changer for me. Glad I watched this.
I've been Prospector mining and doing cargo missions in Pyro. Lots of fun. Some bugs but nothing more then it's always been.. FPS feels smoother with server meshing.
Nice introduction, but I think adding a link towards the guide system of RSI, where you can get in touch with other player to get a 1 to 1 help for other part of the game would be nice 😁
Good guide for beginners and returners into SC 4.0 👍 4.0 Preview has a lot of problems, but they are already working on a 4.0.1 for PTU probably end of this week.
Actually buying more expensive ships does give one advantage. Objectively One starts with higher tier ships meaning they start with an advantage and do not have to grind through to earn up to a ship. F8c or a gladius. C1 or C2 hauling over an aurora. Telling others there is no advantage to driving around in a high end luxury vehical compaired to a used hatchback is disingenuous. No you dont have to buy big or expensive, but the reason so many do it is because it is an advantage in all aspects of the alpha.
Understanding what it is, and that some errors needs helpful players to assist you, it's fairly playable for what is in the alpha presently. I like the "bluescreens" - That's your Windows installation failing, not S.C.; If you had said "Red Screen of Death", then we would know you played 3.24 or 4.0-Preview.

As a brand new player of Star Citizen this guide was really good!
Much appreciated!

You forgot to explain "How to make a Karolinger! 🙂
It is still not playable. Fps drops, bluescreens, errors, glitches....it just need more time.
Slowly it gets better but the start was very bumpy 🤞
