I dry most of them and make spice mixes to give out to friends, started making sauces, and this year started getting way more peppers then I can deal with!
Why does he give the names of the various peeper plants in abbreviations? What do KS, LSB, PMS mean? Some people are new to the pepper world, you know.
Sorry, names that get called by an abbreviation are so commonly called that, I stop calling them by the full name. I didn't exactly plan to do these videos, I just did so well I had to share. Haven't made the jelly yet, but need to! The plants do fabulous in containers, especially grow bags. I'd say the best ground locations, meaning best soil and light are the best, but a grow bag placed somewhere that doesn't have the best soil/light conditions seems to do better.
That is amazing how you're able to grow so much in that space! Do you sell those at a Farmer's Market? Those Mexibells are cool-looking! I haven't heard of those before. Are they non-hot like regular bell peppers? What state do you live in? I'm in Georgia and my peppers wouldn't do anything all summer because we had too much rain and humidity, but now that it's cooled off, stopped raining and the humidity has lowered alot I'm getting fruit. I bought some seeds for that UFO shaped pepper. Mine will be red though. Haven't planted those yet but will be doing that within the next day or so now that the weather isn't working against me.
I haven't tried selling at a farmers market, thought about it. I'm in WI. The Mexibelles are a hot one, some sweetness but a nice flavor too. The yard is quite shaded, and our lower temps help me achieve these plants. I don't experience much pest pressure either.
Hydro nutes as seedlings. Then Fish Fert until they start blooming fully. Then whatever cheap liquid bloom fert is on sale. Before each year, I dump out the soil in the grow bags and add ammendments back to it: bone meal, blood meal, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, crab meal, langbienite, azomitite(?)
Several rows are extremely difficult to get at in the main garden patch, the rest I can reach. There are a few walking paths through the Oval garden if I lean a plant to one side. Its tight!
The cool Thanos in the Oval Garden? That one turned out an open pollinated cross, therefor an F1 plant. Its seeds will be F2, and put off 100s of different phenos. But come Nov/Dec I will likely have them available at the Pepper Lovers Community discord.
Such an awesome setup! If i may ask where do you get seeds from? Best setup I've seen! I grow in NC and I'd love to get to that level! I have a 32ft raised bed with 74 plants in it plus a 33ft by 30ft in ground garden. My soil is not ideal and apparently has some disease in it. Hopefully next season it'll all be worked out.
Thank you! My main in ground garden is 26'x14', the side garden is 5'x50' maybe. This is my 4th summer at this house and I've added material to the ground each year helping to build it up. I am lucky to be in Wisconsin tho with already decent soil. These are my favorite sellers I've used through the years, most are hobby growers like myself: peppermerchant.net/ growingwithlazy.com/ www.dangerbros.ca/ www.isotopechillies.co.uk/ mattspeppers.com/ capsicodium.com/ www.bausgrows.com/
Very impressive job growing all of your peppers in containers. How do you water and how often? I only see garden hoses. Do you have any of your plants on drip irrigations?
I am in Wisconsin, so watering isn't as hard as down south. And yeah, this is year 4 at my house, I've been throwing money into building up the gardens each year and hope to have money for irrigation another year. So far its just buckets of water from rain barrels and the hose. I did run into a bit of BER caused from uneven watering, so I could probably use some irrigation.
Pests? I live in Wisconsin in a city, so no deer, and there is a 6' chain link fence around the yard that helps keep the racoons and alike out. Squirrels/chipmonks/rabbits? all get to a few peppers each year in each stage of the growing. I just consider it the cost of growing peppers! But being in WI, bugs don't bother me, I do nothing for bugs at all! The peppers I use to make pepper spice blends, and now trying sauces too.
I'm a New Girl and asking. As you pull and pick your peppers, could you describe them Especially the height cause I grow some inside and the heat.? As you go and may take a while, but go to recreate content.
That is too much info for me to video this year. I am pretty busy with processing them. Most of the Annuums on the patio are under 30k heat. All of the super hots, I am too afraid to even try!
I have to say this is one of the most impressive PEPPER gardens I have seen on the tube 🎯🎯🎯
Absolutely love this. Thanks for sharing.
Hell of a garden
It's really impressive how your garden look like, I'd love to see it this year!
You have the most beautifull pepper collection I ever see, congrats dude! :)
Wow beautiful new subs ❤
Fantastic setup, great update. I have questions, but you seem not to get to those, so keep 'em coming.

Very nice man !!!
Suppose you make pepper jelly also
It's great to have favorite veggies.
Nice plants
You think they do better in containers?

Wow that's a pepper garden.. awesome job, whats the soil mixture for those pots..
That is insane

What's he going to do with all those peppers
WOW! what to do with them all
I make dried spice mixes with them. I like to get a mix with a whole range of pepper flavors and spice.
Отличные перцы ! Чем Вы их удобряете ? ( Great peppers ! What do you fertilize them with ?)

🤩
can i have your recipe for the soil, id appreciate that, thank you
Amazing garden but how do you get to all of them doesn't look like enough room to get to them.
Several rows are extremely difficult to get at in the main garden patch, the rest I can reach. There are a few walking paths through the Oval garden if I lean a plant to one side. Its tight!
Hey, Man, You inspire me to grow bigger and I need to step up my game. where can I get a few Thanos pepper seeds?

Very impressive garden brother. I have 2 questions: What do you do for pest management? What do you do with all the peppers?'
Do you answer questions ?
Yes, but just not very fast.
Where can I get those grow bags?
👍👍👍👍👍.....
Beautiful plants! Do you sell seeds of your varieties?
I will save seeds and hopefully have them available. So long as time allows, though probably not till Nov/Dec.
@@krushedpeppers6485Don't you get a lot of cross-pollination with all those peppers growing next to each other?
@@BrokenCurtain Its pretty minimal, but it happens. I might have like 6 or 7 out there that crossed from my own saved seeds.
Okay, thanks!@@krushedpeppers6485
god damn bro and thats an understatement magic work.

Can you send seed waiting
Can you send me the seeds I can pay for it.
I'll have them available on the Pepper Lovers Community discord come Nov/Dec.
@@krushedpeppers6485 Thank you waiting
All that time and don't eat 1 pepper for the audience thumbs down.
