@@gclmediaIt really gets me thinking about the politics in the church at the time of the King James. I have heard that the church was furious with King James and started a relentless smear campaign against him, because they were against the creation of the KJV. Is that accurate? I do wield a KJV as my Bible but I’m just a novice when it comes to the KJV history, so I want to thank you for educating me on the history behind it and I look forward to absorbing all I can on this topic. God bless. 🙏
Great Info! I've often shared with others about the Geneva Bible after being told the KJV is the original and true Bible. So, just out of curiosity, which is your study preference? Blessings🙂
@gclmedia , thank you! The JPS is the Jewish Publication but is different from the CJB (Common Jewish Bible) correct? I'm still learning and willing🙂 Keep the Biblical content coming! SHALOM❤️🙏🏼🕊
The CJB offers a Messianic Jewish perspective with both Testaments and cultural elements, while the JPS Tanakh provides a traditional Jewish translation of the Hebrew Scriptures.
First I think the importance of God's word to the masses is necessary!! The Greek to English from tynesdale, Geneva and king James with comparative translations shows the integrity of the process. May Father God and Jesus through the Holy Spirit be glorified!!
Hey brother, I hope you see this in respond back, but I've also studied a lot of this stuff that you're teaching, you might be a little bit further advanced than I am, but we're on the same road. But one thing I want to know is, and it's just because I was taught that it was the Puritans that came to King James wanting a better Bible, so my question is where did you get the information of John Rawson or ronis or whatever his name was, that came up with the idea of a new Bible translation? What book can I find that in?
Blessings his name was John Rainolds. He was a Puritan leader and Professor. Here are some resources you can use to find out more about him. King James is a tyrant. He belongs to a Roman Catholic, but he wanted to marry his lover while he is still married, But the priest told him that he cannot marry another woman unless he became a widower, so he got his wife murdered so he can marry the woman he wanted. Then he assembled 72 English scholars and directed them to translate the Hebrew bible into an English bible and change some wordings into his liking. The King James bible has only 66 books, the Roman Catholic bible has 73 books and the Ethiopean bible has 81 books.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! While there’s a lot of intrigue surrounding King James and the history of the Bible, some of the points in your comment could use clarification. King James was raised Protestant and remained so throughout his life, not Catholic. The claim about him having his wife murdered is not supported by historical evidence-Anne of Denmark, his wife, died of natural causes in 1619. As for the King James Bible, it wasn’t a solo project directed by the king to suit his preferences. It was translated by 47 scholars (not 72) using the best Hebrew, Greek, and Latin texts available. King James didn’t dictate the translation, though the work did reflect the religious and political climate of the time. You’re correct that the King James Bible includes 66 books, compared to the Catholic Bible’s 73 and the Ethiopian Bible’s 81. Each tradition’s canon reflects its unique theological and historical journey. The history of the Bible is incredibly complex and fascinating which is one of the main reasons I create videos go help clear up some of these misconceptions-thanks again for bringing up this conversation! It’s always worth diving deeper into the facts to uncover the full story.
That's a lie, that is a straight bold-faced lie. You know what until after 15 years after he died that his political rivals came against him saying that he was homosexual, which he was not and many people that knew him was not. I've got a book that has a bunch of his letters that he wrote, one specifically to his son, you should read it. Just Google King James's letter to his son PDF there's so much misinformation about King James and it's only because Satan is coming against the word of God which was given to us in 1611. It was not given to us anytime after, none of the modern versions of scripture, represent the word of God as they should, we don't need 900 English translations. And before you even go to the book of demonology, you need to read it before you even say anything about that. People want to use that to judge King James but these people haven't even opened up the book of demonology to even know what he was talking about they just see that word demonology and all of a sudden King James is a demonist he's a witchcraft warlock, they make all these stupid claims, however he was warning the church of demonic attacks in witchcraft that was very much alive during his day. I have the book so don't even bring that book up and try to bash King James. Satan comes against the word of God, the 1611 is the most blood-stained that book in history, the most read book in history, the most purchased book in history, the most stolen book in history. The English Bibles before such as the wyclef the two different revisions of the Tyndale Bible, The great Bible the Geneva Bible the Bishop's Bible, English hasn't even been established yet it was still in the works as you can look at the lettering and tell that it was not a fulfilled language until 1611, which we got the most beautiful archaic language poetic Bible which all through these scriptures, is the word of God that was preserved purified seven times in the fires is silver, preserved for all generations and forever.
@@gclmedia you know the King James also contained the apocrypha, which was removed in 1881, but the apocrypha is very important to understand or expound upon more of the scriptures especially Maccabees, which is in my opinion more of a historical view between the Jews and Babylonian captivity or at least after and the several hundred years up until Jesus Christ. And Esdras one and two, I believe they are scripture because anywhere that you read especially from a prophet, and the word of the Lord came unto me saying as it says and Esdras, I believe that belongs in scripture, I believe that's inspired. I haven't read all of the apocal but I listen to these book s at work in my earphones. I listen to a lot of historical information documentaries and things like that, but to my understanding King James also made it illegal for anyone to remove the apocrypha. I believe it was the Jesuits, matter of fact I know it was the Jesuits who were behind the heading of the committee to revise the King James, Brook Frost Wisconsin and Fenton Anthony John Horton, they didn't even believe it Jesus Christ, they didn't believe in the Genesis account. If you've ever read the Jesuit oath, you will know that they posed as Protestants to win our trust even to preach in our own pulpits. And these modern versions of scripture I believe are what is used to destroy doctrine, to remove the deity of Jesus Christ in many places.
Great work.

The KJV is my what I study from mostly. But I often use a mixture of the KJV, JPS, Hebrew, and Greek texts.
