Is it just me or does anyone else like the flight characteristics of the 100 more than the 110 or am I alone with this? Keep in mind I don’t do 3-D yet so maybe that has something to do with it. The people that prefer the XK 110 is that why? Also somehow to me it seems more durable.

I'd been watching all your helicopter videos since becoming interested with it.because of this video and bought a xk falcon k100, and with dozens of crushes ,I understood,and i now learn how to fly a heli.from xk100 to blade 200 srx, 230s,300x, blade 500 3d, 500x and to a goblin 700.just recently I bought a blade 360cfx."which is my favorite by the way".but with all this I can only do normal flying no 3d stunts.or stuff like that.still get nervous..bottom line is because of you I learn a lot!! so thank you so much!!!! ur the man Alishanmao
+MyJam1981 Honestly don't notice much difference in terms of power between brushed and brushless, I have both the 100 and 110 and I personally prefer the 100, it feels a little lighter in the air is all.
WHo DOES have the time (to do the setup in a Futaba) :D However.. You can get the heli without the transmitter offcourse :) Not everyboddy is as wealthy as you sir ;) Nice review! And looks like a nice (indoors) heli :)

+ChandlerBingalingg Yes it would sir :) It is the same transmiter indeed.. In full 3D (colective pitch) mode you'd indeed start out with the stick in the middle.. HOWEVER.. You would need to program the throttle-curve in the transmitter..

Yes....This Heli has two modes .... This Heli can be switched at a flick of a switch at any time between 3D mode and Stable 6G mode.... The 6G mode is very stable and in effect allows stability just like 4 ch Helicopters ..... The 6G mode is ideal for beginners and it keeps the Heli stable and level just like Safe Mode .....
I love this thing, I have two of them now so my friend can start practicing his skills as well, this is only his second heli, he moved from a co axial straight to this and he's doing fine, he's even managed to practice some 3d idle up without crashing the thing. For it's price this thing really does a lot haha.

2:10 Isn't the main motor claimed to be "CORELESS"? Coreless motors do have brushes, but no iron core. Without the iron core, they can change speeds more quickly; less inertia.

I have a video with K110S and futaba. you can try that. if you are flying with stock radio, you need to switch to 3D mode (not 6G Mode) then use idle up
could anyone please recommend a beginner tutorial on xk100 or similar? just got mu xk k100. Cannot get it hover steadily indors, it tilts right. Instruction in broken english, so doesn't help much

Old post, and you have probably made your decision, but I have a V977..it flies great in 6G, but in 3G the radio is not configurable, and the controls are extremely extremely touchy. For this reason, and current pricing, I think the 100 is a better choice, mainly due to the much better radio.

Late to the party lol but the motor has only 2 wires, so its not brushless :) Its actually the only difference between K100 and K110

its like the v966 that I have but for futaba. great heli but rear canopy mount and tail fin usually break in a crash.

coreless brushed - it only has 2 wires! The K110 has a "powerful brushless motor".

there aren't any settings that would do any good to your situation. mine flew right out of box like you saw in my video. no settings changed
