I’m thinking a lot about the autism-shamanism connection Dr. Prince-Hughes mentions. It reminds me of The Horse Boy by Rupert Isaacson. I wish autistic kids (and adults) were given the opportunity to actually BE the shamans our society so desperately needs. Also, it was interesting when she said autistic brains are similar to the brains of other animals. A great interview!
