Yesssss Also you may want to run a 205/45/17 instead mate. Will add some comfort and grip while adding to the touring car look. I love how it looks though!!!
Yeah the Evo Rs they did where lovely did like the reflex too and can never go wrong with the stealth for old skool or the venom for a late 90s hark back 👍
My wife has been shouting for me to come down and have dinner for 10 min now,not me ,I am enjoying watching a nice guy tinkering with his project, most of us are not wealthy men and you are doing it on that level, having a go and turning out a great job everytime, relaxing and enjoyable to watch, thanks Adam.
For me, back in the day (90's) these wheels looked fantastic. I had venoms on my 4x4 sapphire, but today, with the scarcity of these car having them look like they have come from the factory, its more appealing for me, your car looks great, but standard is sexier. Your videos are great and it's good to see someone taking the jobs on you do 👏
@Adam Smith Adam I'm loving what you're doing, mate, and I'm Cossie daft. Your engine rebuild is going to be quality, and I can't wait to see the rest of the videos til the end result. For me, that is your biggest project at the moment, and don't get me wrong, I would give my right arm to have the cars you've got in your garage. Lovin it mate 👌
The previous set of alloys just looked dull, going for a period correct set of tsw keeps it old school but also updates at same time , I think saph looks the mutts nutts the now
I've been watching a couple of years now, and your vids just keep getting better and better. Thanks for all the effort you put in. I learn so much from them. Personally I've always loved the sapphire lattice wheels but can't deny the TSW's do look great too.
TSW Wheel bring back memories 😂 The ride height looks spot on these cars always needed 17 inch wheels but BBS like the 3 door would be the nuts Keep up the good work Adam
perfect ride height always like the rear sitting slightly higher than the front awesome job bear in mind different tyres will have a different side wall look to them
I see your passion for the Cossie. I had two Sierras myself- an XR4x4i and a 2.0 litre twin cam estate car. Decent motors, but the Fourbie started my love for 4 wd street cars, as opposed to Jeeps. You crack on me bonnie lad!
Thats the fun of building a project yourself , you choose the style of parts you like and get the reward of a cool car at the end , build it how YOU want it and enjoy , well done mate , I think you have well and truly got the cossie modding bug . 😎
Love the tsw wheels, suit the car hands down. I had tsw razors on my only ever brand new car, punto 52 plate. My m8 had tsw venoms on his corrado. Another tsw stealths on his cav gsi, really miss those days. 😊
I've watched you from the start Adam ,and I must say you are the same as you were back then,I think this speaks volumes for others who watch too ,you have a daily job that earns you money and you spend it on things you enjoy.Keep it up always a pleasure to watch 👍
When I first saw those new wheel’s I thought “Nah not for me “ but sat at the right height the car as a whole looks great with them on 👍🏼 nice work Adam
Love the wheels Adam my mate had the same rims on his mk2 golf don’t worry about people opinions it’s you car bud do it up and enjoy it the way you want to it’s your car your money and your life enjoy to the fullest sir :)
Back in the day I would of seen them wheels as an upgrade now though I would definitely not be parting with the standard wheels as there original and old school cool but keeping them gives the best of both worlds loving the project though 👍
Cars coming on really well adam, cosworths just have to have there original equipment wheels tho,i have never seen aftermarket wheels on a cosworth yet that improve it.2 videos in one week tho, great stuff.👍
Wheels look mint! Sits perfect too, I wouldn't change a thing. Bang some new tyres on, maybe sort those arches and refurb the wheels, lovely car. Standard wheels are best left to concours cars.
Just live these cars. I remember when you got it and thought £13k for a low mileage one has to be worth a punt!!! It going to look stunning and go as good as it looks! Well done for saving it ❤❤
Love the Sapphires I learnt to drive in my uncle’s 2.0 GLX in white back in the day and the Cossie sapphires in magenta with the raven black leather interior is my Dream car ❤ keep up the good work Adam 👍🏻👍🏻
It's definitely sitting mint at the new ride height Adam. I'd prefer the original wheels though - honestly thought you'd be looking at fitting a set of those 17" scaled up Sapphire wheels from the place you visited in 2022. That would set it off perfectly......budget permitting of course 😊 With all of the standard lights, indicators, etc. fitted, it would be a shame to spoil the original look.
@@360nastybusiness If you’re adding all of the original features like Adam did, then there is only one wheel choice - ORIGINAL. Every messed about with Cossie in the 90s had those tacky ‘Chav at Halfords’ multi spokes with the fake centre nuts.
Wow amazing what a difference the wheels have made and ride height been following this build from beginning Adam and your patience and determination to get this build done is amazing well done mate love it 👍🏽👍🏽
And those rusty shocks passed an MOT, that’s concerning and a good reminder to anyone thinking of buying an older car and believe an MOT is a sign of the cars real condition.
Cars coming up great buddy makes all the difference having the garage to tinker in when ever you want! The fear of the grinder locking on the spring you were cutting it had me on tender hooks! 😂 Keep up the good work bud
Personally i don't like the rims, they look good but i prefer the standard ones "style wise" or the 4x4 rims and you can get these as you know in a larger size now. What i do love is you nailed the ride hight, it is perfect. Sits really well. Good job all around
I think you might need a small helper spring on the front shocks if the spring was loose when you jack it up at the lower setting as thats an MOT failure point possibly.
Looks loads better and can tell that car was in Scotland there winters cause major corrosion as all salt on floor definitely do like those wheels and think you saved yourself world of pain swapping suspension out
Hat off to you mate..I agree with you and the car looks the bollocks. I've watched every video since you picked the car up from Scotland, and how it looked then to how it looks now is proper impressive, and the wheels were a great choice. I remember them from back in the day, and 17inch on your car look really good, they suit the car, as does the ambers. Done a great job with the car and have enjoyed watching it all come together. Enjoy it, well deserved mate 👍👍👍
Looks mint lad . Wheels are the nuts . I had a set on my missus lupo . 15's tho but complete even the little lock tap things that hold the nut in place are still there . Car has come a long way since you got it . Hats off lad . Keep the videos coming always good to see what your up to with the cars . Dave
Great to see some sierras never had a cossie but loved my 1.8 GLX and my 2.0 ghia estate , shame they're so pricy now but at least they're looked after properly these days.
mate when you said you were replacing the wheels i was like noooo!!! however the new ones look really nice and suit the car. same sort of look and feel as the sharktooth 4x4 ones.
Wheels are spot on, I’ve still got a set of original 16” TSW Hockenheims off a BMW E36 in my garage with all the centre caps and retaining clips, I’ll get them refurbed one day 👍🏻🙂
❤...awesome..back in the day I had TSW Hockiem R's on my white RS Turbo registration F800KCD..wish I could afford a Cossie...I own e92 m3 le 500 hoping it will go up in value like all the RS ford's have ...
Coming together nicely - thank goodness you swapped out those front Konis before giving the car some proper stick. Unsure about the wheels - as you've spent so much time on getting the cars original factory style appearance correct - I think it would look mint on a set of the Autobionics 17 inch Factory style Sapphire replica rims you showed on the channel a little while back.
Lowering job looks cracking but I would def go for a set of the 17" 4 x 4 cossie wheels on this. The TSWs are just not my cup of tea. Either that or a set of OZ motorsport wheels.
Should get urself a hub spreader socket bit mate makes life a lot easier on fords , use them at work on the daily n make life a lot easier than having to bash the hub with a hammer . great video as always mate , enjoying the videos on the saph keep em coming 👍

One of my favourite channels this is its also cool to see these old ford's as I'm never gonna have to money to buy one but get to watch them anyway
I love this channel so much anyone who measures things in fingers is my kind of man 😂😂👍
Absolutely love the transformation! The coilovers and old school wheels on your Sierra Sapphire Cosworth look stunning!

Great video, nice bit of terminology for judging the gap between the wheel arch and the old and new wheels!!😉
I wasnt sure when i first seen them in hand, but once they were on the car with coilivers looks spot on. Love the ambers as well
My Guy..... wasn't expecting this video to pop up!
Those wheels look the spot on, proper period correct! 👍
Back in the day I would of seen them wheels as an upgrade now though I would definitely not be parting with the standard wheels as there original and old school cool but keeping them gives the best of both worlds loving the project though 👍
Loving it adam rember seeing nearly every cosworth down the block yards in the late 90s eary 2000s with them wheels on. Class 👏👏👏
Giving us all the finger at 18:05 😂 I had TSW Imola on my Mk2 Astra Sri back in the day. Always fancied TSW Evos. Hockenheim look good 👍

Wow that looks absolutely stunning !!! Even more satisfying that it was in such a bad way to start with.
Sapphires looking mint! Such a transformation from just a year back.
Looking sweet Adam some transformation that car. keep up the good work always look forward to a new video uploaded

Excellent video again Adam, the cars looking mint. Years ago when I had my Sapphire I had TSW blades on it. 👍
And those rusty shocks passed an MOT, that’s concerning and a good reminder to anyone thinking of buying an older car and believe an MOT is a sign of the cars real condition.
Looks a different car absolutely stunning always suited cossies seen a few with them on over the yrs
The car looks stunning I’d be over the moon to be the owner of that sapphire Cosworth. Keep up the great work caring for this car 😎
Looks mint on them Adam. They’ve always suited a white sapphire Cosworth
Yes its looking good on those wheels. Good proportions! Cracking job.
looks ace mate, you done some good work on that old saph, excellent progress..
I had the exact same wheels in 15s on my Corolla gti back in the day. An awesome wheel that suits everything ❤
Cars coming up great buddy makes all the difference having the garage to tinker in when ever you want!
The fear of the grinder locking on the spring you were cutting it had me on tender hooks! 😂
Keep up the good work bud
OZ Compomotive in carbon or anthracite grey 8x18 would be my choice, but each to their own! Loving the channel

Looks class perfect stance. I wasn’t sure when you first showed the wheels but they totally suit the car. Total trip back to my youth 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
FairPlay I’d have had second thoughts with the sparks off cutting rear springs 😂 next to the tank too 👍
Love it,forgotten them wheels like the TSW Venoms. Looks superb!
Wish I still had my Saph! Get yourself few cans of Plusgas for the rusty bolts etc.
New wheels look great but needs some spacers front and rear just to fill the wheel arch better 👍👍
that old shock looked a few potholes and speedbumps away from a catastrophe!
Looking fantastic!!! Brings back so many memories for me. Love the vids mate
You should have got the keeper spring with them Adam to keep the springs from flopping around with the car low.
i’m in the middle of doing my saff and i love how you explain stuff in layman’s terms and i live the old skool wheels very period adam
That looks spot on stance is perfect. Some cheap tsw badges for the wheel centres would look good as well
Looks mint lad . Wheels are the nuts . I had a set on my missus lupo . 15's tho but complete even the little lock tap things that hold the nut in place are still there . Car has come a long way since you got it . Hats off lad . Keep the videos coming always good to see what your up to with the cars . Dave
Love the wheels and the stance Adam. Spot on👍👍
Had 15” TSW Evos on my 1994 Fiesta 1800RS, made a big difference with uprated springs and shocks.
Great to see some sierras never had a cossie but loved my 1.8 GLX and my 2.0 ghia estate , shame they're so pricy now but at least they're looked after properly these days.
Get in 2 videos in one week m8. Love it
Back in the day my mate had the original wheel diamond cut. They looked superb 👌🏻
Looks great. Takes me back to my cruising days.

I was hoping it wouldn't be long before this vid dropped, nice one buddy
The only wheels I’d put on a Cossie are Compomotives. Classic designs and suit the car perfectly.
Looks amazing those alloys Adams would change centre caps thou.dont throw away the originals thou as goes with the car if u ever sell.great video .
Wheels are spot on, I’ve still got a set of original 16” TSW Hockenheims off a BMW E36 in my garage with all the centre caps and retaining clips, I’ll get them refurbed one day 👍🏻🙂
Love the wheels had these on many different cars back in the day
Good choice of wheel for a saff. Just needs a laguna splitter now 👍
Just bought these Gaz coilovers for my MK1 golf cabby

Great video, love uploads like this, wheels arnt to my taste but chuffed with all the work you've put into this.
Initially wasn't liking those wheels on a Saff but I think you've nailed it tbh. Looks a belter mate.
Looks mint pal, I had a set of Hockenheim R's on my Cavvy GSI many moons ago!!! Unfortunately no pictures of it though!! :(
Coming together nicely - thank goodness you swapped out those front Konis before giving the car some proper stick. Out standing Adam, been watching you for a while now keep it up 👍
Fitment's mint... Some old school hocks used to look a bit sunk sometimes...
Great photography. Wheels look great man 👍
Ahhh mate, it looks absolutely stunning! It's really come along and you've done it justice.
Take a bow 👌
Looks mint, reckon a 17 inch version of standard rim would look mega aswell rs500 raptor is doing them
Lowering job looks cracking but I would def go for a set of the 17" 4 x 4 cossie wheels on this. The TSWs are just not my cup of tea. Either that or a set of OZ motorsport wheels.

Love it Adam, I’ve seen a guy on TH-cam that sells 17” saph reps
Nice one Adam its looking so much cleaner mate good job buddy 👍🏾
Good job Adam , looks really nice live it 👍👍those old ones were tired good job 👍
Thats looking absolutely stunning now! Love them wheels
You’ve done a really good job there Adam if you consider what the car was like originally.
Wheels look mint , always did suit the sapph’s the tsw’s
Love the stance, prefer the original wheels but that’s just me. Great job 👌🏻
Adam Get some oil on that jack, it is still squeaking. Great job and car looks brill.
Adam, you made the best wheel choice
Wheels look way better on the car than I thought they would. I'd spray them in a standard silver colour to make it just a bit more OEM looking.
Looks good Adam, my dad has been running this same set up on his white 2wd👌Hi from Australia
