- If you are currently studying bachelors and if you are thinking of applying to US universities either for Masters or PhD, but confused of what steps do you need to follow, this video might be a guide to you.
In this video I am trying to share the steps that are necessary to take for anyone who is willing to come USA for their further studies after bachelors.
1. Take Exams
You need to take GRE + IELTS/TOEFL. It will require atleast 3 to 4 months of preparation for you to complete these exams.
2. Prepare LOR and SOP
Both LOR and SOP are very crucial for your application. Make sure you put your words correctly and prepare a good story for your SOP.
3. University Shortlisting
There are thousands of universities where you can apply, but that does not mean you will apply to all. From thousands, you will have to shortlist 6-8 universities. For short listing, you can follow these websites:
a. USNews ranking: www.usnews.com...
b. CSRanking: csrankings.org...
4. Apply to the universities.
The last step is sending your application to the university of your choice. Together with your application you also need to send your exam score to the universities. Applying to each university will cost atleast a 100$, so be prepared for that.
