Man I relate. I loved it so much I made my way to being a budtender. I quit because I wanted to quit and drive semi trucks. That was 2 years ago and the only thing I quit was that job getting the weed for cheaper. I need to make this fuckin happen.
If you smoke blunts, cut down to just pipes - one hit can take the edge off after a hard day of work. Also, it really helped me to quit by staying REALLY busy - clean anything and everything, go for a walk in the woods, treat yourself to a movie or a trip somewhere fun, and exercise. All of these helped me to quit a few years ago, but I started smoking again once I was in a better place financially and mentally.
I've tried to start again 3 times after quitting 4 times. I never controlled it long term the way I wanted to it meant I had to quit permanently. Lots of people fall for this trap.
I agree but be careful not to overdo it with the juices because too much sugar in your bloodstream doesn’t help anything. But you are correct, lots of water and Vitamin C and also AEROBIC exercise is great especially for bringing the withdrawal symptoms down to a tolerable level. I also recommend Turmeric and Fish Oil supplements they can help with your mood and make the withdrawal a little bit less intense

@@creek5688 I’m on day 7 still sober, have some cravings here and there but I’m staying strong. Keeping myself busy and I’ve already been super productive this week, I would recommend getting some type of CBD/CBN or some type of supplement to help with sleep. The only hard part really is the insomnia.
Day 170 for me. I have developed so much, but i still get cravings & temptation to use as a coping mechanism from time to time. The good thing is that they dont last very long.Distract yourself when you get tempted. You'll always be happy you didn't give in🙌🏿
I don’t plan on quitting forever. I smoked chronically from ages 12-23, im 20ish days clean i stopped counting because i don’t see myself going back. Thankyou for the last part!! It was honestly comforting to hear you say "dont be to hard on yourself" if you relapse. Telling me to get back on the horse and continue. Thankyou for acknowledging its not just a easy thing and takes some people many attempts

I smoked 21 years, 7 till 10 a day. Stopped a month ago. Except for my sleep and dreams its not that hard. The harder the body struggles the more you know you're winning. See it as a little child which doesnt get what it wants. If i can do it, you can do it!

I kept an oz and a jar of roaches around. I figure if I can’t quit with it there, I’m not really quitting. I mean, a bag of poison wouldn’t tempt me, and this crap won’t either.
Stopped in 2007 and have never gone back. Nothing against it, I just didn't like the introspection and self critical thoughts when high. Had a week or two of insomnia but it was worth it. Lost a ton of weight as well.
I was clean for 2 weeks until I relapsed. When I did I thought that was it for me in terms of quitting weed. Right now I’m on day 3. Reason why I’m quitting is because I hate the idea of being a slave to a substance so much that I would lash out at anyone when I didn’t get a fix.
Legalizing weed was the worst joke we played on ourselves. It's almost like the "just say no" was a practical recommendation, not a violation of your rights.
Lol. Everyone should be smoking a little. I smoked for over 30 years and quit for a job. Only side effect was not being able to knock myself out at bedtime but it's better. Melatonin helps. Taper down lol. Relapse lol
2 months off weed and honestly I feel great. Now I'm starting to quit smoking cigarettes, I feel as though I was only doing it out of habit and to self medicate and to escape trauma
One of the most important things you forgot to add, don’t substitute one addition for another. Don’t start hanging at the bar drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, saying you’re a better person for quitting weed, if you still depend on alcohol!
Mannn i smoke amost every day. I say almost because every coupld weeks or so i will accidentally not smoke for like 3 or 4 days straight and i dont feel any sort of side effect. I dont withdraw, i dont have increased anxiety, i can still fall asleep normally, etc. Maybe im just lucky, but the idea that you can be addicted to weed is so weird to me

Day 2!! I know I can do this.
I’m a week strong right now you got this brother 💯💯
Thinking I need to start the process soon pls keep us updated you got it bro
@@creek5688 I’m on day 7 still sober, have some cravings here and there but I’m staying strong. Keeping myself busy and I’ve already been super productive this week, I would recommend getting some type of CBD/CBN or some type of supplement to help with sleep. The only hard part really is the insomnia.
How are you doing 3 weeks in?
@@jantjesmit7514 Still sober! And actually getting some sleep though the night now.
If you do relapse, don't be hard on yourself
Na I fell like u should cuase if u don’t you’ll never stop
@@713gasChanging is hard enough, too much self criticism isn't helpful
@@713gas You should be hard on yourself to an extent, but you shouldn't hate yourself for messing up.

I know that sounds contradictory but i just never want to be a stoner again. Years from now i have no problem smoking a blunt at somebody’s wedding or something but i refuse to let it consume me again. I got too much time to make up for
I feel very anxious when i take a break then i think what's the need of this??
Thankyou for the last part!! It was honestly comforting to hear you say "dont be to hard on yourself" if you relapse. Telling me to get back on the horse and continue. Thankyou for acknowledging its not just a easy thing and takes some people many attempts
Day 1 here, want to make it at least 2-3 months before ever considering using again.
Big shoutout to all the past and present potheads in this comment section nothing but good support and love coming from these comments
1st things is, realize you don't need it anymore & stop. That's it! Dropping those friends will be extremely helpful but, rely on yourself, don't look to blame others for your mistakes.
It’s literally because all my friends smoke . Literally everybody I know smoke weed
Sh*t me too man
Me too
Me too im quitting now
@@WuTangWax update I’m 50 days sober. I’m lonely asf now tho

@@TAEVONTOONSI love smoking weed but I started young like 14 I don’t know if I should be telling people but I’ll tell you right now my memory could be better and my cardio could be better I don’t smoke blunts tho that’s different
i took a week break and it felt like the good old days, just gotta keep it on moderation, its not a weed problem, its a you problem. Weed is MANAGEABLE through discipline
Smoke weed for 5 years and basically went cold turkey and I guess it's been 900+ days since I last smoked. 💯
nice fresh out of the amazon box lab coat XD
I smoked so much bro I’m sweat literally smells like pure ZA so when ever I take my shoes off after a long day at work I’m then reminded😭

I smoked 21 years, 7 till 10 a day. Stopped a month ago. Except for my sleep and dreams its not that hard. The harder the body struggles the more you know you're winning. See it as a little child which doesnt get what it wants. If i can do it, you can do it!
IF U ARE HAVING TERRIBLE WITHDRAWALS AND ONLY HOT SHOWERS HELP YOU MUGHT HAVE CHS talk to your doctor or go to an er CHS could lead to kidney failure due to dehydration.
Definitely cut down, don't quit cold turkey. The insomnia and barely getting any sleep sucks. Good luck on your journey.
Jesus and gym... change your identity, change your appearance, soon your old life will give way to your better life
I kept an oz and a jar of roaches around.
It sucks for me everyone at work smokes I get stressed out and all I have to do is ask someone for their pen cuz EVERYONE HAS ONE🤦♀️
Lol. Everyone should be smoking a little. I smoked for over 30 years and quit for a job. Only side effect was not being able to knock myself out at bedtime but it's better. Melatonin helps. Taper down lol. Relapse lol
underlying mental health issues
lmao...that will be 200 bucks
This was helpful, and gave different tips than other shorts I’ve seen. Thank you! Day 19 for me
Weed just makes you comfortable living a shitty life
2 months off weed and honestly I feel great. Now I'm starting to quit smoking cigarettes, I feel as though I was only doing it out of habit and to self medicate and to escape trauma
If you do relapse don’t be hard on yourself lol yeah because the courts will be plenty judgmentally hard on you anyway ( Australia )
I quit smoking weed and it was super easy because I used a proven method , Edibles 😊😊😊
One of the most important things you forgot to add, don’t substitute one addition for another.
Don’t start hanging at the bar drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, saying you’re a better person for quitting weed, if you still depend on alcohol!
I just can’t picture Jesus smoking weed. So I need to stop 🙂🙏🏾
Mannn i smoke amost every day. I say almost because every coupld weeks or so i will accidentally not smoke for like 3 or 4 days straight and i dont feel any sort of side effect. I dont withdraw, i dont have increased anxiety, i can still fall asleep normally, etc. Maybe im just lucky, but the idea that you can be addicted to weed is so weird to me
I’m only addicted because I get bored. Or I can’t eat without smoking up
I smoke about a joint a week if I don't share. Because weed is so strong, don't need so much. Two hits a day does the trick!
Quit weed
Step 1 : stop lighting weed on fire and inhaling it
Step 2 : see step 1 no ones coming to your rescue
Im at a point in my life where i want to elevate and weed is hindering me. My high doesn’t last as long its 30 minutes tops
What happens if you daily smoke weed i wanna know that and smoking weed does effect health right ?

I have bad anxiety and now I’m depressed because it’s been a week and I’m not coping very well. I’m really trying I’m just stressed. I feel like it has a hold over me I’m scared ima relapse. Most weed smokers (here in the Netherlands) also use Tabaco in a joint. So they also adducted to nicotine. Most forget. Best way is the hard way. Just stop cold turkey. And when you got the need to smoke, go outside, go sport, go work
It is the same in Ireland, tobacco in joints, and your advice is perfect, go for a run, swim, go gym, get in the car get away from whatever situation.. it is easier said than done tho as I’m sure we all know
