    They actually make specific carbide burrs for cast iron. Same as they make specific ones for stainless steel and aluminum

    I always thought the ones you’re referring to having an “aggressive cut” were only meant for aluminum? Not saying you’re wrong, that has just been my understanding

    The burrs work very well on big truck frames . To use them on aluminum keep spraying them with penetrating oil . Not perfect , but it definitely helps .

    I was really impressed the very first time I used a carbide burr. It was a double-cut type and it just ate through hardened steels, like sockets and 10.8 grade bolts! Thanks for the video.
