My 8 year old son came up with a fun new way to play this and wanted to share with you! The layout is the exact same, but he decided that you move kings up, like you would aces in Klondike, and you play up on the Tableau, so Aces move to empty spots instead of kings, and you go A,2,3…etc and then Kings, Q,J etc. anyway, just a fun different shake up of his favorite game. Thanks for sharing, we’ve played almost every single one of your games you’ve shared and it has been a fun bonding thing for us! Keep sharing!
I love a shake up of a favorite! I will definitely give your son's variation a try. And thanks for the great note. You have certainly warmed the heart of The Card Guy!
I little tricky, but you can do it. Move the 8 on top of the 9 spades, move those cards on top of the 8 as required, then move the 7 spades on top. Takes a few moves so plan accordingly!
A space made by removal of an entire column may be filled only by a king. Often spaces remain unfilled as you near winning the game. Hope that helps - and thanks for writing!

Love this version of Solitaire - especially when I visit Tucson.

if there's an empty space and all kings are at the top can you put any card in that space?

One variation of Scorpion is Wasp. Just like Scorpion but you can put any cards in the Tableau. Less of a chance to get “stung” lol!
most underrated solitaire game, in my top 3
Hear hear! But pray tell: what are the other 2 in your top 3? Card Guy’s gotta know …
My favorite is Penguin, and Head Cannon a close second.

I am too unlucky for this one. Everything gets locked after a few moves...
Shoot. Yes, it can be a tough one. Good luck!
@@SolitaireWithTheCardGuy well, thankfully you have a lot of others that seem to fit me better (or are easier ;)). Thanks
