I didn’t see anything that spoke to me personally but I sew with a group of ladies and we make lap quilts for an assisted living home that specializes in dementia residents. I concentrate on making quilts for the gentlemen and I did see a few collections that have pieces that could work for more manly quilts; Quaint Cottage, Sunrise Side, All Star, Main Street. I love Bountiful Blooms, then Light Hearted and the Sweetwater collection. For some reason, I don't care for the mustard/gold color. Love all the teal and greens though.

Bountiful Blooms by Sherri & Chelsi is lovely as well and I would love to make that Fall at Home Quilt. That Natures Watercolor quilt is on my must have list also. I think we all agree that we would really enjoy a trunk show of all those quilts by S&C!

That is a tough question! There are so many tips I have received over the years but the one I think I would suggest is practice, practice, practice! The more I practice, the better my quilts turn out 😊
I love the Fabric previews on fat quarter shop! You definitely get more sales from me after I have seen these shows. However, I miss the days when Kimberly used to flip through the fabric and actually let you see it. Why have the large swatches if she’s not going to flip through and let us see them? She used to flip through every single swatch in every single color way. Now she only does a couple here and there. I do really appreciate the free patterns and her commitment to helping all kinds of charities. She has a very generous nature.
Hello Padma! At the time of filming our fabric previews over the past few years we have only received capsets and limited bundles at vary stages of display so we felt the capsets would should show best.
I just HAD to come back and look for that realistic bear fabric...I found it! Marigold by Aneela Hoey! I am sure that's going to fly off the shelves! Same with those darkest greens. Those seem so rare compared to all of the different colors!
So happy to see Kate Spain back with a new line. I just love her fabrics. I'm also excited about Main Street. A Sherri and Chelsi trunk show would be so much fun! Thanks to the FSQ crew for all the inspiration
