In this video my brother and I react to Blackpink Shut Down & Pink Venom, Stray Kids Megaverse & S-Class and Seventeen Super. My brother has never heard K-pop so I have no idea if he'll have any interest in it, but I'm hoping to get him to love it as much as I do. In this K-pop reaction we both give our overall thoughts.

My two cent about Stray Kids: he didn't liké the LYRICS because they were bragging about themselves and the point was not deep enough. And you continued with another "we are the best" song... It was failure from the start.
You have to stop with the title song bangers, and try the deeper meaning songs. Early SKZ have a ton of songs talking about mental health, or the struggles they faced on their journey.
You could try Hellevator (it's about depression), or Maniac (it's about being yourself despite the rules of society), or DLC (Dance Like Crazy), or Lonely Street...
Changbin's solo track Streetlight, Han's solo track Volcano, or the rap unit Muddy Water (100% old school rap, he might love it).

As a Carat I was really surprised to see that he didn't even give a chance to listen Super. Even that was all okay for me but when he just started insulting them , that was too much. I mean he didn't even gave them at least 30 secs. I came here after seeing the title and there's no point of mentioning Seventeen in the title if you are not gonna react to them for at least one song. To me I felt like he was always looking for something to be rude and I really don't want him to react to kpop if he's not into that or at least not giving a chance.

You can dislike the song but do not disrespect the artist. Seventeen puts much effort and work for the songs they are producing. I know people have different taste when it comes to music, but that doesn't gives you the right to disrespect the hardwork of the artist. Not hating though, just saying.

The thing is: as an artist, when you put your product in the market, you cannot expect to get only pretty lovely reviews. Critics are going to rain down on you and I'm telling you this as a fan of Stray Kids myself. It sucks, but as you said yourself, he's allowed to dislike their music and think it's "wack" because at the end of the day, he doesn't owe skz a thing. I used to think "Oh, but you could at least be more respectful with your words." Then I learned it's no use to try and sugarcoat things. Not everyone is going to be gentle and care about your feelings just because you worked hard on something. You worked on something, put it out, and now people can give their opinion. Whether you like those opinions or not, it's your problem. Shock of reality, I knowww
By the way, this was a slap of truth for me because I aspire to be an author, so yes, putting my work out there for the world to read can be pretty terrifying. But everyone in the business has to learn to live with it somehow, I guess.

Not liking something is ok, but disrespecting a group and all their work is unacceptable. Judging a group saying that the lyrics are not good or already skip the video after 10 seconds of music is very unnecessary and rude. The fandom could indicate endless songs from skz and seventen to be heard but honestly, I prefer not to waste my time with those who do not know how to respect or appreciate people's work and art. Honestly, I hope you find someone with a more open mind and more education to react.

When people come in with closed minds and disrespectful attitudes it's a waste of time to even try to share passions with them. I hope that you both continue to enjoy what you each like. My closest friend won't even listen to a song, they're so anti, so I learned to not try. Let people live in the lane they want to live in and save your energy for someone who will at least open their mind an inch.
Your brother and I definitely have different music tastes. How can you go off 'Super' so quickly, that song literally got me into Seventeen. Sounds like maybe he's a girl group type more. In which case I recommend Kiss of Life 'Bad News' and Aespa 'Drama', oo Bibi's 'Vengence' could be cool. Try Taemin's 'Guilty' and NCT 'Baggy Jeans' and see where he is on the male artist spectrum.
As for SKZ, honestly, if he's not moved by 'Megaverse' and 'S Class' you could try some other stuff, like '3racha' or something. And he might like their live performances, but if he's not clicking not sure I'd bother. Maybe throw some less known ones in like 'Lonely Street', 'DLC', or 'FNF'. But honestly, if he doesn't like it, just don't show him anymore. People either get it or they don't and there's not that much fun watching people not enjoy things.

Okay i just need to say, it's completely fine to not vibe with something. I'm a kpop fan and i don't really listen much or at all to these groups you guys are reacting to. I'm more of an rnb lover(exo, red velvet kind of grps) But just because it's not your preference, doesn't make it "wack". You can perfectly not like it without needing to disrespect the artist and team behind it.

Before I have a new person come on here to continue this new 'non kpop fan' series I'll do 2 more videos with him, and I'll have to see what music he likes. The standard baseline for a video shouldn’t be the camera circling around some rapper standing in front of a shiny car holding a wad of money as he BRAGS ABOUT HIMSELF with girls on each side as a creative video. ✌🏼😊
