Stray Kids are big Marvel fans. Bang Chan who is the leader of Stray Kids is friends with Ryan Reynolds. So you will find a lot of Easter Eggs in the videos. They are also big anime fans. They did the intro and outro to Tower of God. The intro is called Slump and the outro is called Top. They’re song Social Path is a collaboration with the Japanese singer Lisa who has done several anime theme songs including Demon Slayer.

About Stray Kids:
3Racha - Stray Kids' main writing and production unit, consisting of Bang Chan (the leader of Stray Kids), Changbin and Han (two of their main rappers)
Bang Chan was an idol trainee at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut with a group, he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote and produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAYYYY more say in picking the members than pretty much any other idol trainee in the industry), and when Stray Kids was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group.
3Racha still performs on occasion. Several of their songs / videos are posted on TH-cam. They write and produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. But over the years the other members have also gotten involved in writing and production.

Stray Kids debuted in 2018. They started with 9 members (in their early videos, you'll see 9 people performing) but Woojin left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since.

DanceRacha - their main dance unit (Hyunjin, Felix (the deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well.

Bang Chan (the leader of the group) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian, so English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency.
All 8 members are fluent in both Korean and Japanese. The group can sing and rap in all three languages.

Not all of their music is super hard all the time.
Stray Kids also write / sing beautiful ballads and have also written a few songs for K-drama, anime and video game soundtracks. They also collab with / produce for other idol groups and individual artists from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and the U.S.

The fandom is called Stay. And I promise they don't wake up and choose violence, the guard was a "hater" and they responded, without even laying a finger on him! It took someone else to point that out to me - it is always the beat/drop that knocks him around!
Their message, to me, reflects the importance of:
acknowledging the challenges you face (relationship, personal, social...),
taking responsibility for your actions while reflecting on how to move on, and
never let anyone else take you out of your game.
While their discography deals with many different topics on a very personal level for them (remember they are writing their own songs/music) they never push the blame in any hardship onto the other person. Even in their "diss" tracks they don't respond to "hate" in a battle sense, they do it like you just saw in Megaverse (also Cheese, Thunderous, and God's Menu) -- "You don't like this about us, you complain about this? That's ok, we're going to continue to do as we do, because that is who we are! Our music is our weapon!"
Stray Kids debuted in March, 2018 as a 9-member group, but have been 8 members since fall of 2019.

Stray Kids Megaverse is a diss to all their haters thats who the security guard represents. They were told that their music was just noise. But they went with what they like and create. The leader does 99% of their music and along with two other members produce their own songs. Thanks for reacting!!

Once you dive into Stray Kids, you cannot stop. You have to continue, they are still a lot you havent seen. And you are missing out.
Stray Kids are their own genre. No one is doing it like they are. They write and produce all their music. They have 2 Aussies, Felix deep voice guy and Bang Chan who is the leader and personally picked all the members himself. Songs to check out...Venom, Cheese, Easy, TOPLINE, Get Lit, item, Comflex, Freeze, Victory Song, Miroh, Maze of Memories, they have songs in like 36 different genres lol

The second security guard that shows up toward the end is.....in real life.....a rapper named TABLO, who is part of an older generation K-pop/K-hip hop group called EPIK HIGH. He's writing his own name, TABLO, on the crossword puzzle, which is an Easter egg hinting at a future project with Stray Kids.
😊 stray kids are the best group in kpop. Self producing. Multitalented individuals. Their style shines above all groups.

If you guys ever decide to do part 2 which i really hope for I would like to recommend songs from different albums just to kinda get a little bit of diversity
-"Leave"(from ROCK-STAR album)this one is a bit slower and it doesn't have an mv so the stage video will do.
-"TOPLINE (ft.Tiger JK)" (from 5-STAR album)this one is rap heavy
-"VENOM"(from ODDINARY album) I just really love the beat in this one
-"All In"(from All In album) this one is in japanese.
Also these guys are just really talented they produce all of their music and even make their own beats which are always fire.💗💕

SKZ in "LALALALA" are showing the children that they do not need to have stage fright, or to be afraid. you have to watch the prologue video by them to understand the meaning of the mv. basically there are four sets representing four primal emotions: joy(the clowns), anger(the pirates), sorrow (the white sets), pleasure(the mad max one). all these emotions is what inside the child’s while facing the stage fright (aka the monster). so all these crazy things you see is what’s inside the child’s head.

Easy, Charmer, Cheese, Freeze, Venom are good ones to check out. Topline, Thunderous, God's Menu and Back Door are also really good. Domino is such a good song as well but the "video" is only about 1/2 to 2/3 of it. Off the main review grid that people don't talk about enough are Side Effects, Heyday and 3RACHA. They hit on SO MANY genres it is hard sometimes to pick a couple of songs.
A lot of people have mentioned that these guys write their own lyrics, compose, and arrange them as well. The group members also have a heavy hand in their choreography. They all write, rap, sing, and dance. The three main writers/composers are Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. Writing credit numbers as of last November were: Bang Chan (168), Changbin (146) and Han (140). They call themselves 3RAHCA and have already won a Best Producers award.
In case you want to have the updated KOMCA numbers for your notes, they're now at 182 (Chris), 154 (Changbin), and 148 (Han) as of the update I did on April 7, 2024.
i'd like to clarify that even tho they sometimes give ideas for choreography, their involvement isn't heavy, they work with choreographer teams who create their choreos for them 😊
So glad you enjoyed my favorite guys! Straykids are incredible. I recommend Back Door, Maniac, Freeze, Venom, Case 143, Easy, Hellevator, TOPLINE. There are honestly too many bangers to suggest. All of their music is 🔥🔥🔥 imo.

I LOVE the theme of this MV.
The security guard was disrespecting them by DOODLING all over them in the newspaper. This angered SKZ and caused them to break the 4 th wall and arrive in their hellevator to right the wrong. CHANS sweater is covered in DOODLES.

I also love the fact that it is the music that blasts him through the wall and the floor. SKZ replied to their haters the best way they can, their music.

for lalalala to note is that the korean word for pleasure is pronounced the same as ROCK! (which is the Korean title of the song) their music and lyrics are always super witty, but it often gets lost in translation! Hope y'all check out more of their discography.
If you liked these three songs, I definitely recommend CHEESE, COMFLEX and VENOM. There's some anime references in Muddy Water and especially in TOP LINE. For some softer sounds, Cover Me is definitely my favourite (its really emotional and has an amazing finale) and maybe OH or Collision!
The deep voice guy os Felix and in the fanfom with have a name for this : The Felix's effec. It's always makes me laugh.

For Megaverse : the theory is that the security guard represents the haters on the internet who hate for nothing (doodling on the face of the members on the cover of the newspaper) and if you attack one of them you attack them all and they will ripost.
For LALALALA : The big creatures are the representation of stage fright and Stray Kids help the little kids beat them with their song (each stages are an emotion, anger, sadness, pleasure and happiness and throughout the music video, the emotions disappear one by one until only pleasure is left. The word for pleasure is Rak almost the same word as rock vocaly)

Stray kids are a self produced group (Which is rare in K-pop ) Changbin (the one rapping on the motorbike in lalalala), Han (the one tied up in the same MV) and BangChan (the one having the high note at the end of the lalalala mv) are known under the 3racha name. They produce and make lyrics for almost 99% of all the song of the group. BangChan (the leader) have more than180 credited song (180 in January so more now i think), Changbin and Han have almost the same count. But as of today, all members are starting to make their own song.
If you want to discover them they have a song called "FAM" where they describe eachother.
They are 8 members and unique fact about them : they don't have roles because they are multi talented. (In k-pop, a group is divided in roles : vocals the ones singing, rappers the one rapping and visual, the ones better looking. It implies that if they are one they aren't good at the other twos) They was also recruted by BangChan (unique way of creating a group. In K-pop it's the agency who decide which member will form a group based on the concept of the group.)

The members (in order of age):
1- Bangchan: Leader, producer (also the one who chose his members which basically doesn't happen as teams are picked by the company) part of 3RACHA which the the main SKZ unit and all three of them make and produce music
2- Lee Know: main dancer, cat mom, and part of DanceRACHA (my bias)
3- Changbin: the rapper at the very beginning of God's Menu, also part of 3RACHA and also a producer (a huge flirt too)
4- Hyunjin: a dancer (very talented! you can see his hard work) part of danceRACHA and also the official group's visual (also Korean Versace Ambassador)
5- Han Jisung: a rapper, producer, and the last member of 3RACHA and the real life human quokka and the funniest guy i've ever seen
6- Lee Felix: dancer, member with most fans! he's the deep voice guy, and has the most iconic lines out of everyone. last member of danceRACHA and he's that gorgeous real life AI human (house ambassador for Louis Vuitton)
7- Seungmin: vocalist in Vocal Racha, he's got an insane voice (he's very much like a puppy too. i swear the memes-)
8- IN: other member of Vocal Racha, vocalist, and maknae of the group (youngest; everyone dotes on him lol) he's got those fox looks too

The first guy rapping at 2:26 with the different colored eyes is changbin, one of their main rappers and widely regarded as the best rapper of their generation.
The second guy rapping at 2:38 is Han. The groups other main rapper, and another best of their generation.
The guy that starts singing at 2:50 is bangchan. he’s the leader of the group, and along with the two I mentioned above, they produce ALL of the groups music and are known at ‘3racha’.
Seungmin is the one who starts singing at 3:02, he’s one of their main vocalists, and also one of the best of their generation.
Felix is the deep voiced dude at 3:39, he’s a rapper and dancer in the group- his part of this song went (rightfully so) incredibly viral, and we like to call the first Felix experience, the “Felix effect”
(Side note for 5:14, back door is another one of their songs. It was the next release after this one, so that clip was sort of like a teaser)
The guy who started singing at 10:02 is Lee know. He’s the main dancer of the group and a vocalist, and also widely known as one of the best dancers in their generation (he eats down)
10:05 this is hyunjin. He’s a dancer and rapper. Him, lee know, and Felix make up the groups subunit ‘danceracha’
The singer at 10:37 is I.n, he’s another vocalist. Him and Seungmin make up ‘Vocalracha’, the groups third and final subunit.
The group slays hard every time, I definetly suggest checking them out a little more. Some good songs to check out are Miroh, Easy, Superboard, Domino (this one doesn’t have a mv but the dance practice is just as entertaining)
For some sub unit songs, there is 3racha (3racha), heyday (3racha), taste (danceracha), wow (danceracha), can’t stop (Vocalracha), muddy water (rap line), waiting for us (vocal line)

And lot of kpop does English one liners and words in their songs for global markets. SKZ does it also because two of their members are Aussies (Bangchan (leader) and Felix (deep voice)) and fluent/native English speakers. They have lot of very meaningful lyrics in their songs and are authentic in the performing as they are fully self produced.
Stray kids are huge in the music industry. They are top producers .They are a legendary group with the most diverse discography. Only groups in k-pop that are self made ( chan picked the members) and self produced group .

They break many stereotypes in music. The more you listen to them the more you admire and become addicted to them and respect them more as artists. The music they made is connected with people with beautiful messages , inspiration and motivation . ❤❤❤

Okay Story for LALALALA: basically there’s 4 emotions the kid is feeling (the one that we come out of eye the of) the emotions are, anger, pleasure, sadness, and happiness. There’s basically a war going on to see which emotion will take over the kid when the concert finishes, the first one that goes down I think is madness, the second is sadness, than the last two standing is happiness and pleasure. In the end, pleasure takes the win, which is when the kid is pleased by the concert.

Being said by the STAYs already, they are a self producing team that write, edits their own songs and lyrics. I would say most of their songs talk abt them directly rather it is to describe themselves, talk abt their hardship in the past, them enjoying that they do, getting back at the haters...And the a lot of their MVs also have stories behind it that connects them. As for their lyrics some of them are worded in the way that only fans STAYs would understand or written in figurative language or words that would only make sense if you knew Korean. Like God's Menu is comparing their songs to dishes on the menu and they are saying that their tracks will satisfy you. As for Lalalala in Korean it is written as 락 (which you would read it as Rock and also written in Korean traditional character meaning Happiness, Enjoyment or Music. In the MV, the 4 different background represents the 4 emotions 희.노.애.락 (희 for joy, 노 for anger. 애 for sadness, and 락 as mentioned above.) The monster is supposed to be representing fear/anxiety. The pirate scene represents Anger 노, bank is joy 희, the white is sadness 애, and the one with fire which takes up the majority of the scene towards the end is Enjoyment 락. So time to time on top you would see each of the Chinese Character disappear and at the end only 락 is left. Also the 8 small kids started their show with fear but was able to successfully complete it with the crowd clapping for them^^

Lee Know- 1/3 of the dance unit (also known as DanceRACHA), has 3 cats, dance leader; also helps the rest of the members learn choreography, donates to many charities often helping underprivileged kids also animals, he is also known for cooking the most for the rest of the members, and he actually used to be a backup dancer for BTS [1998]
Changbin - 1/3 of 3RACHA, avid gym rat, main rapper (a powerful one too!!), he loves girl groups and STAYs (fandom name) joke that he was born to be in a girl group, and he originally auditioned to be a singer and dancer but eventually was convinced by his teacher to try rapping [1999]

If you want to hear more diverse songs I would listen to s-class, topline, case 143, maniac, thunderous, chronosaurus, maknae on top and circus.

They have a monstrous global following that has contributed to them breaking Kpop records. They are the first Kpop group to have 4 albums debut #1 on the Billboard 200 charts. These guys are the reigning Kings of the Kpop 4th Generation. We Stays love their music but we also admire the dynamic of their family. If you decided to look into their history, you’ll discover how hard they worked and the hardships they had to overcome to become who you see today. Especially, the leader Bang Chan. Diving into more of their content you will see the brotherhood and unwavering love and respect. They are also unintentionally hilarious and ridiculous which is completely different from how you see them perform live.
